How to mount children's bikes on a two armed adult bike carrier / bike rack

I purchased a Yakima RidgeBack 4-Bike Hitch Rack from Amazon. It works amazingly for my adult bikes. However It's difficult to mount children's bikes. In this video I show you how you can use a ratchet to create a horizontal tension bar between the seat and the handle bars so that you can mount it onto the rack. This Creates a top tube for non-conventional frames.

Great idea, however... Although I feel the rated ratchet strap will hold, that's a lot of faith on that 1 seat post screw against the soft alloy whilst bouncing and vibrating at speed. Same goes for the one holding the stem to the frame.
Would complement this by tying frame of rack to frame of bike on both sides.

No need for this with an adult bike. Standard frame adapters work on adult bikes.
