  • IZ and I return to the spot on "nugget creek" (not the real name) that produced almost 10 grams of gold in a single trip. It seems like this section of bedrock may be mostly worked out below the water line.

    Nice video guys! Nice work!
I love how you showed that the fish enjoy sniping and dredging. It stirs up food and habitat for them.
Unfortunately, there are crazy environmentalists who would like you to believe otherwise, and if they had their way and we didn’t have the Miner’s law of 1872 to protect us, they would shut down mining activities permanently.
    Education is important!!!
    Good gold hunting!
    Take care.

Awesome video! So cool sharing with us that fish! I’ve been a huge trout, steelhead, and bass fisherman for 25 years. Been doing gold for 1 year. That little trout was so cool how he was feeding.. and you fed him! Haha. Too dang cool.

Covered ground look for hotspots when you get 20 hotspots then go back and work they will lead you to better Gold. Gold will lead you to gold.
You can always go back and re-snipe it or cover ground in a few years when you have more knowledge you’re looking for anomalies things have changed where they had wing dams up etc.
Hi benches that got good gold on them you could throw the rock off and arrange the rocks so in the winter time when the water comes up it will blow all that stuff off .
Diving weights it’s important you get good spots you can pack Weight bars and hammers and stash can you pick the stuff up at yard sales and stuff cheap you should carry the stuff in and out and you can work ground ground to the seasons.
The more ground that you stripe and cover the more hotspot you’ll have and you will run into some good ones but if you don’t cover ground and put in the effort you will never find them takes a lot of work but it will pay off .
A lot of times you don’t have to hike to the far away places miners like to camp on top of the gold so a lot of times the Richie spot you can drive to or be right in town just got to be casual about and I’ve been them little creeks in town or in the hotspots don’t overlook The easiest Spot don’t stop and work them stay moving come back at the right times the right time season right amount of water when there’s no people around etc.
You don’t have to drive all the way up the hill summers get too hot to work down there there’s some rich creeks all the way down to Sacramento and of course all the way up in the high Sierras.
You can do those lower creeks in the winter time.
Winter time when it’s raining and storming it’s the best Prep time .
Follow the old timers of course you can get gold in they’re working and trash . Some of the best spots it’s a start mining where they left off and go above a lot of times you must dig you’re just looking for that first nugget gold Will lead you two gold.
Right now you’re looking for gold knowledge covered ground so your knowledge will grow I know it’s a lot of work ! Stay light Rock hammer gadbar sniffer and Hemostats.
Sniping is one of the best ways to increase your gold knowledge.
You do know when you video and publish them they can be traced to the exact spot easily.
Good spots never stop being good spot good more knowledge The better your spots become that’s why us old timers are so protective.
There are some really good hits out there I’m just trying to steer you in the right direction there’s so much to learn and you could not share it on RUclips!
Gold fever is real And it can create insanity which is impossible to understand and get get you killed or cause you so much trouble and headache for just a little gold. People think it’s the old west play with guns and everything else it’s not good.
They send you to prison for that I’ve seen many .
Don’t play with guns people it’s not the old west it’s not your claim jumping we have courts and stuff for that which doesn’t work anyhow who greenhorn minors fighting with greenhorn gold miners.
Can y’all go to prison over nothing tiny bit gold.
Then leaves their claim wide open.
That’s the biggest mistake I see greenhorns make and it’s a sickness Insanity .
That’s over 2 ounces of gold what would happen if it were ? That’s why you never hear about good hits big nuggets all the pros never talk about it and we never share any amount of gold only with buyers and professional that don’t get gold fever.
Cover ground hike your ass off brutalize yourself and then do it again and then do it again the knowledge you will gain who will be worth it.
Don’t worry about the gold don’t work them spots cover ground final spots don’t stop cover ground go to different creeks brutalize yourself and follow the old-timers remember not to share your good spots on videos I will get the locations and two or three of us pros will go in there and illuminate all the good gold because you did all the work don’t share it if you find it.
There are some good hits out there in this country it takes knowledge being young and strong quit floating around in a puddle not cutting it hike your ass off hit the best looking spot don’t stop and work spots find a good spot MoveOn Try to do 10 different creeks this summer.
This will make you A way more successful E knowledge will never go away..
Unless you just into making RUclips videos and you can ignore everything I said did you guys do good job making RUclips videos but if you want to find gold Not some colors in a pan?

Don’t forget to work those super skinny cracks, and even the tiny tiny holes in bedrock that are holding just a few packed pebbles. I’ve found some of my best gold in the tiny holes in bedrock everyone else passes up. Unbelievable how they make it into them, but they do!

    • @530GoldMining

@@kord530 the gold distribution in this creek is a little strange. I’ve got hours of footage of digging every crack you can think of with minimal results, then you pop one chunk of bedrock and there is 4-5 grams.
