I'm glad I'm not the only one who draws their moles back on! I have a very distinct one near my right eye and it's a favourite feature of my face, so I always draw it back on after my foundation. I've tried for YEARS to find the perfect way to fake colored eyelids as Sam Chapman or Jemima Kirke have... and now I use a mix of dark concealer (oxymoron?) and bronzer and it works! I use it also on the lower lids.

I've had long covid since July and then I had a growth removed from my nose. I have not felt as much withdrawn as I have been these few months. I'm starting to feel myself but a little weaker. Ahhh the timing of this video. I just went on a whole rant to my therapist recently about how disoriented and non-functional and *itchy* I feel in the fall when the light starts to change and the weather gets dry. Time to start slathering myself in oil and cream after every shower.
I very much felt what you were describing about the difference in seasons and changes in skin, metabolism, and so on. Moving 14 hours to the DC area changed my skin's needs so much, it was almost unbelievable. I love hearing your thoughts on more than just makeup, and I think this look works beautifully for you and gives lovely autumnal vibes without being over-done.
Oof, DC weather swings are so hard on the skin. I'd like to say that after 14 years here I've got it figured out, but then we randomly don't get fall and it just all falls apart.

Omg you have just put into words what I've been feeling but couldnt quite grasp! Yes, as the seasons change it does take (af least some of) us a little time to adapt to the new temperatures and luminosity and all that jazz. I'm on the south hemisphere so it's spring here but the weather cannot for the life of it decide what it wants to be. A couple of days it's sunny and the temperature hits the 38°C mark then it's suddenly rainy and 16°C! My mind, body and wardrobe are experiencing complete chaos!

This immediately reminded me of your how to look / feel great when you feel like crap videos. I love a whited out lid on me and running a color through my crease, be it brown, mauve or coral. Whatever color I choose for my crease, this technique seems to be what really makes the color of my eyes pop.

Ya, muted base products are so thin on the ground! The white base product I have is Manic Panic Dreamtone. As far as a single eyeshadow creating a nearly nude yet finished look, mine would be a muted plummy taupe, or grey that is closer to light than medium, rather than a matte bronze. My eyes are grey-green: very silvery, and milky, murky even. The colors mentioned above allow the green to pop a bit more; warmer hues tend to drown the green. Pulled out the Rouje powder palette in Chaleur, to see if any of those colors might appeal to you, and I think they might, but alas, I fear the powder palettes are discontinued. They're OOS on Violet Grey, and Rouje doesn't have them on their site anymore. Fingers crossed that an update is going on, or something like that. Thanks HLP. Hope Sadie got some satisfying you time. 🖤🤎🧡🤎🖤

Maybe a little utilitarian for you, but I stand by my got 2 be glued hair gel for my brows. It's the only thing that truly holds my brows in an almost crunchy hold all day. They did come out with a brow gel version but I haven't tried it so I can't speak to whether or not it's identical formula-wise, but I still think you should at the very least consider it for future. The clear nyx brow glue also comes very very close, but you don't get much product & while the hold is strong, it's not QUITE as strong as the got 2 b glued. Great content Hannah, thank you! 🤗💜

I'm going to ask you the question I always have with people who get up and put themselves together: what about working out? Where does that fit into your schedule? I wake up and go for a run, but afterwards I usually stay in my exercise gear because I do yoga or go to the gym at some point in the afternoon. I don't actually shower and put myself together until after all working out is over for the day. What's your routine with that? How does that fit in with dressing smartly and putting on make up?
I've always thought that the daily makeup drawer thing was dumb, and excessive. But I've kind of been thinking about moving the bulk of my makeup out of my vanity drawer and putting it in to this rather large makeup carrier I have and keeping shop my stash items in the drawer. It might help make my makeup feel "new" and make my vanity feel more multipurpose. Like, maybe I can fit more in it to my vanity than just makeup and do more of my beauty routine at my vanity.
Since I have been following Alissa Vitti's "Womancode," my skin transitions the seasons with more ease and in general stays happier. I can’t recommend it enough. It also helps me keep even energy levels. And I don't get cramps anymore!!!
My brows are unruly! I LOVE a stiff brow that stays in place! I love the Refy but sometimes I get too much in my brow and it can look-gunky? I will be following how you like the Patrick Ta as you continue to use it!

So far Refy holds the best but leaves a slight white powdery residue. Wondering if either of the Patrick Ta brow products are better?

The brow version is a clear gel and has less hold. I have had the occasional fallen brow since I started using it.
