The recordings of Pandit Bhimsen Joshi supported by Rashid Khan is a treat to watch.... Ustand Rashid Khan getting lost in the Panditji's music and in total awe !!! A loss but he will be treating the Gods in the heaven!

I listened to raag Malkauns first time in 94. It's just mind blowing. Had listened earlier of others. But, Rashid Bhai was simply great. Malkauns was it's best. Darbari, Megh, Puriya, all ultimate. He's unparalleled, unexcelled. A complete musician .
Still cannot get over his death, still thinking about him, one thing observed over long period of time was his heath, put on lot of weight and should have been more careful, he was national asset, really do not know may be I am wrong, his loss cannot be replaced.
We have to wait long long years after years to hear this type of tune. He was surprisingly a very rare flower bloomed in the garden of Indian Classical Music.

At such a young age, he had already graduated into an eminent position of a Ustad. I had the privilege of listening to this raga at a live concert in 1990-91. That impression remains evergreen in my memory. WAH USTAD WAH 👏👏👏
I had the great opportunity to hear his live programme only few years ago at Uttarpara Classical Music Night. It's a wonderful experience for me to hear his divine song in an ecstatic joy and pleasure. I pay my respectful homage to his departed soul. Rest in peace...😢😢
