I have a hard time listening to most kaito songs because they're tuned so high. His tone triggers migraines for me even though I love most of his music.

It could be about toxic relationships, someone not liking you back, or someone not even knowing who you are but you fell in love with them. I always like to think (I don’t LIKE it, because it’s sad) this song is like a trick breakup song, where they sing about how much they hate this one person and it’d be better if they never existed, but near the end the singer says “Saisho kara boku dake” Which basically means “the person I loved was myself” which makes me feel like the person they hated and said “I’d rather you stop existing” was themself, and this is a song about hating yourself. And then they go through the chorus again and you get to hear it again with THAT perception in your mind. Idk that’s just how I felt when I first heard this song.
I always interpreted that line as the person singing getting over the love and realising "the person I loved was myself" but thats a good interpretation too❗❗
