A beautiful video as is functional. Very creative with ingenuity. The belt drive better shows the transfer of mechanics versus a hidden direct drive. The channels and wells where the electronics and wiring are tucked away is very clean as are the audio connections. The wooden tone arm is another surreal throwback of what is a possible application for wood. Amazing !! Thank you for this video.
I can’t remember anything that I just saw, that music sent me to another world, lol I can’t decide if it’s the best thing I’ve ever heard or did it just make me hate music
Beatiful work, but there is important error. If you use straight arm, the headshell has to be turned right a little bit. Otherwise the needle will read channels not paraller. The result will be heard as ssssshsss in vocals.
Good point. Other than that, the tonearm is really beautiful because of it's simplicity. The free floating pivot and counterbalance, while hard to adjust perfectly, allow for not just weight but also the angle adjustment. I'm not referring to vertical angle. That's important with some cartridges, but with absolutely every cartridge the stereo channel accuracy is hugely dependent on getting the stylus straight in the groove. It's just assumed that everything is straight on all turntables, but the precision in that dimension is much more important than VTA, so it's a measure that people could go a lot more obsessive about with real tangible results. The nice thing about this tonearm is that it can be adjusted. I guess they make SME type headshells with that adjustment on them but this tonearm offers a much more elegant method.
Detuned sound of this music detuned my brain :)))
How about a vid where you explain what you're doing and talk about the parts?
Fantastic design and execution.👍👍👍
You are the greatest friend ever. I either suck more than I know, or I just don’t have friends as amazing as you.
Really impressive work and attention to detail. Well done.
Beautiful work 👍

It looks like it sits on one pivot point, I was wondering that, too.
nice build...but what on earth is that background music...it's so out of tune
Where is the audio
А музыка звучала с этого проигрывателя?
Preciso de um cara desse prá com çerta meu soni
You should get a better audio cable, don't you think?
Admiro la capacidad de construir algo así; yo no podría hacerlo, por falta de habilidades... Pero debo confesar que es el plato más feo que he visto.
The music is atrocious.
That is the most God awful music I have ever heard in my entire life
I hope you make a video aboutbthe electricity and all.. 🫣🫣🫣
