Often times when the art gets worse, then so does the story. Tokyo Ghoul being an example. Thanks for the ubdate! I hadn't even heard a new part got started. Will probably wait a few months before checking it out. Not in a big rush after hearing this.
Webtoon style is certainly a bit of a controversial change. There is this really great long shot of nine arts and a dragon in the first chapter. I think the artist was really trying to show that the art can still flourish this season
@@davidortiz3094 it literally just started it's quite literally the set up arc for part three do you remember how long it was in part one and two because I do it took a minute for the important stuff to start and it's a good set up with our MC now in the place of the mentor and learning how to not take the same road hell we haven't even seen the obsessed doctor who resurrected the girlfriend of the nine arts dragon

I waited for this sequel for 6 years and I'm honestly loving every panel of it. The creator already said external force will be twice the size of new waves so I'm not surprised by the slow start. And the artwork is a downgrade from previously but at one point I thought we would never get season 3 so I'm happy nonetheless.
yeah i am also ok with the start of it, compared to other current series, they just seem to be trying to grab new readers. Season 3 was originally planned to be twice as long as season 2, so im sure things will change later on.
I am excited for a long season 3. Twice as long as NW is gonna make it a looooong one. Hopefully we'll get to some of the highest points of the trilogy.
@@SeaGee I think the artwork will improve over time the artist did the amazing art for part two this is just a new style for the breaker and translating the original character designs will take a bit however the fight scenes have really improved due to the new style just like with solo leveling its really easy to follow the flow of the fights

Man I just saw it and got excited but I dont like how they added someone like mc from the past and the story feels more focused on him. The full color vertical style as well kinda sucks I waited for long and i was disappointed :(
I actually recently discovered The Breaker series. Binged S1 in a couple of hours and was blown away by how engaged I was with the characters and story. I went looking to see if there was more of this series and discovered that there is a second season with 200 chapters that was finished and a third season currently being published and I was very excited. But then I saw some comments about how S3 was immensely disappointing and I got worried so I decided to check out the first chapter of S3. The art-style change was the first and most obvious change I noticed and it was honestly quite... jarring. S1 had such amazing detail, the fights always had a lot of weight to them and the characters always looked sharp and some of the panels are amazing with the black and white art-style. Now the characters look unfocused and almost look like a draft rather than a finished drawing. Then again, I know nothing about art and drawing so maybe it's just me. The new character being a complete copy of Shiwoon also doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence because we've already seen how that will play out and makes it a lot harder to care for him. I also didn't have to wait for so many years so I can't imagine how other people feel. I will remain optimistic but I will probably refrain from reading S2 until S3 has at least 100+ chapters so I can have a decent sample size of whether to continue reading it or not .
Honestly I have a lot of gripes with it but, imma save my critiques till after I've finished the series. Regardless of if whether it turns out shit or not, I've waited 6 years for this. I'm pretty sure we all remember the highschool deadlines we skipped waiting for a new chapter to be released on our favorite ripped scan sites. The times we re-read new waves in college when we had nothing better to do. I ain't saying shit until I've consumed everything this story has to give. I advise y'all who have issues with do the same. We spent 6 years waiting, don't let the art style stop you from finishing this story, don't let the introduction of a new character be what stops you from seeing out Shiwoon all grown up send the authors your support and bleed them dry for breaker content.
The author already said he was tired of The Breaker and that he didn't want to write about it for the next 10 years.. Well this is the result. The lack of details in the faces are hard to pass. If this were a new series it should have been cool. But it's not a new series. I really thought I was reading a fan fiction. Reading some comments I realize I wasn't the only one. Change in format. Chage in drawing style. I wonder who got the horrible idea to do all that.. This is like when they make a 2nd movie and change the actors which of course ruin the saga.. I think maybe the new kid is there to put the mc in the master position. What can change that I don't know. After all the nine arts dragon did his crimes because of his stupid own brain washing so I don't get the new plot purpose.
I first read the webtoons first without knowing the story and i love the visuals since i can only read the available chapters i found out through the comments that i was reading season 3.so, i got curious to know more then, i started to read the manhwa it was jarring at first but, i came to love the master of the mc! And panels for the fightings are great! I'm invested now. Even though i still don't like the mc that much i love the master and will continue to read it to find out more!

I don't feel like he's going to be the main character. I feel like he's there to help us transition into the new story. I really enjoy the idea of Shi-Woon creating his own right hand man by accident.
The new character is a little bit of both...he's secondary main character. Who's most likely going to have to prevent further conflict from being achieved by his predecessors. This manhwa is like reading a kung fu movie
Just why whould he do that, shiwoon isnt dumb, he knows the kid will beccome a target, lik he was, and 9 arts basically was tricked into saving him. Why would shiwoon do that if tat kid wasnt already in a bad position to begin with?! Whih is the only reason i can imagine, he is hidden because he is some kid om a person from murim or something. Shiwoon isnt that irresponsible. Otherwise ther are so many other charcters that are already advanced and could be good disciple narrator characters, we met. Its just not a good start, but it could end good, like new waves did start rustrating if ok.
Its not terrible but the length of the prior seasons AND the hiatus just make people want the main cast and story to progress. Like... people who started reading this as kids have kids of their own now

So excited to see our favorite characters and visit the world of Murim again! The rehash is not ideal but I’d like to believe the decisions made these 8+ years have not been taken lightly so let’s see. PLEASE support the creators in an official manner! I recently just found out the authors have slowly been releasing Season 1 on paperback and there are plans for New Waves too. The first two volumes are out on Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, etc so pick them up if you can!
thank u very much for reminding me about the breaker; i read the series 3 years ago (before covid) and i had completely forgot about the series due to the lack of a confirmed release date for its 3rd season. i just took a look at its first episode of its third season, and i must say that i am slightly disappointed i remember the breaker as an old fashion manhwa that felt kind of like my own personal secret hobby. the story inspired me to actually start to work out somewhat and get into shape but looking at the third season now is honestly disappointing. i know the story cant be exactly the same as it used to be, but all these changes make me feel like im reading a completely different story; and i dont really think i like it. i do miss the old breaker and even though this new season isnt what i hoped it would be for now, i'll read it out of respect for the 2 prior seasons and in hope that it gets better.
I read the second and it was amazing, I was getting into the 3r season with really high hopes about the continuing of shiwoons history and how he was going to lead sunwos clan, the last chapter of season 2 was really emotional and what really was unique in shiwoon was his really strong spirit and mind also how happy he was no matter what but in the 3rd season they just destroy this incredible character, they made him super serious (I am ok in some way with this) but what I really hate was that he never really smiled again they change that unique thing he had and also changed the main character to like a remake of him that’s trash I’m sorry but he is trash they cut the main story that the 2cond season left us and did almost a new story with a mew Mc, it’s like the author didn’t care at all about the main history. I really had hopes to this 3rd season but now I’m really desappointed in so many ways, really sad for a manhwa that really had a good and serious history.
New Waves started off sluggish with the MC broken Ki Center and all, and in the 1st series he was quite similar to this new character before joining the martial arts world so give it some time is all I will say.
I loved the black and white art style and rehashing of old plots is funky at best. Still gonna follow along for about 20-30 chapters before making my final call about it as the breaker and new waves are amazing so i have a lot of trust in the creators... for now.
12 years ago this story started, I really feel old (and disappointed) for having waited so long, I also REALLY hope that the first chapters will be a short introduction for new readers, BUT, I doubt that the quality will improve, why?, well, the artist said he didn't want to draw as much as in the first two seasons. I'd rather he hadn't released the third season if he wasn't going to be able to offer the same quantity and quality as before.
@@aryanmirajkar7786 Out of curiosity I recently randomly opened some current chapters since it seems to have progressed quite a bit and surprisingly I got the impression that the author returned to focus on the original protagonist and the main story so possibly at the end of this year ill give it another chance . For me this is one of the best manhwas I've ever read so I'll probably try to read it to the end.
Just read it long time fan but it gives me pokemon adventure manga vibes now witch is awesome to me I can’t wait to see what the it’s gonna be like now that he himself has someone to train and how wil 9dragon react to it it gives a lot of extra question early on
New waves had some issues but it was overall a good journey but part 3 is confusing to me. TBH I'm not impressed, for now I think it sucks. I'l have to wait to make a full but I don't have high expectations
I read the entire series in 3 days after seeing s3 release. Needless to say this is one of my favorite works of fiction. I have read it probably 5 or 6 times in the last 7 years. I am so far not super happy with S3. You summed it up best as can be that we already GOT THIS STORY. Not only did we get this story already but it WAS TOLD SO MUCH BETTER THE FIRST TIME. I just am praying it gets better. Going to keep reading because i love the original deeply

Yeah I agree with most of your criticisms here, I’m cautiously optimistic right now. I have enough trust in the writers that they’ll figure it out in the first 15-20 chapters but if they don’t, it would be a little disheartening and I may have to drop it

Facts. New kid is a lot like Shioon but there is much potential he has as his own character. And theres still Chun Woo, we havent really seem much of him since the first Breaker.
I'm not happy coz it just seems like a season 1 repeat so far, an inexperienced kid getting mixed up in murim, I want to hope it will get better but I've a feeling this new character is going to stay but I'm not interested in him at all as it's just a repeated story albeit slightly different and he is super annoying in fact if he died I wouldn't care which isn't nice as the authors worked hard on the story of season 1&2 and so I wanted to like him but I just want him to go away. I know they want to appeal to new readers but I don't want to have to wait for a 100 chapters for it to pick up where season 2 ended coz it was epic how season 2 ended with the same character of the ending of season 1.

I feel let down. After all my love I built up for shiwoon was shattered. The new mc was overall a mistake. But that doesn’t mean that it’s all bad. Except when the mc got some training from 9AD. Hajae was bullied and wanted to learn some fighting to protect himself from bullies. (Sound like someone) Hajae is a copy of shiwoon but with worse development and writing.

So after 9 months after release, with all these chapters that has been released- season 3 not so bad, has interesting solutions and desidions, some moments cool(new Siwoon is bad ass) I have become tolerant to new design and format. Unfortunately some plot points, like tournament, have been abandoned. To sum up, it’s not so bad as some people write in internet, but some things are really agreeable (like new kid) I understand that he was introduced to show us developing and changes of Siwoon, but he is still look like out of context and too generic. Like postmodern character just to be post modern
I dont care about the previous seasons or story, i dont will read the previous seasons too soon probaly, and the fans of the breaker sounds like a lot of old people bringing back memories of the youth Anyways i just want to ask How tf is the art bad? I disagree with the statement that it isn't meant to be a new, slow start. it's been 8 years, imagine Naruto having to give you a whole volume of background recap for the first part. besides.......holy hell the fandom is not just salty anymore but downright toxic...its been over 6 Months and we are ONLY at chapter 14. Some of the reactions, tweets and even Reviews are some of the most shamefull i have seen in this Fandom. Of course people have questions they wanna get answered, like the ones you said in the Lightning round. But these Guy's need to take a breath, im positive half the fandom has gotten diagnosed with ADHD at this point.
The manwha version in season 3 is much better than the manga, just accept it and shut up. It's better in style, drawing, story and fights. And the art is incredible, so for all the people that says that it sucks, just read it, it's much much better than the two first seasons, which were so boring. 200 episodes to see a good fight.... Here you have everything, the art, the good story and the fights, much better now than then.
After 7 years I feel like if the series resumed in the middle of the action I wouldn't even be able to really understand what's happening and the start that we got is a good way of getting back into it more slowly. I obviously expect answers to be given a shiwoon opens up to the mc about the whole murim thing. Fun fact I didn't even remember the manga was about murimsband whatnot since it's been so long. All I remembered was the crazy strong master and his student trying to stop him from his goal by getting even stronger. What marked me about the breaker as a whole was the start and this new start kinda repeating itself comes across as what the breaker is to me, which is a story about a kid wanting to get stronger and by desiring that got enrolled in a giant mess. So yeah for me it's no big deal
Stop talking about the slow start, it isn't even slow compared to the other season, the problem is the new MC (and yes, it is a MC, you can only see how much screen time he has and how much the real MC has), the character has a cheat, it is not likeable, and that all those people try to help him or ask him to do thing doesn't have any logic. Author has forgotten a lot of likeable characters for using this 2nd MC.
been waiting 7 years for this. was upset that it ended so abruptly. so i hate the kid, not his fault but hes just a carbon copy and we are drawn away from siwoon. its like the intruduciton of boruto except that kang has nothing to differentiate him from siwoon which in turn is even more frustrating. the style change was a kick in the nuts and a spit in the face kinda moment. the old art style complimented teh fighting scenes so well now its just... i dont know. hopefully we can get used to it but it put in traditional japanese manga style hit different and the art just looked that much more immaculate. at this point i just want to know more about siwoon's mental and physical state and why he didnt learn more about the heaven and earth sect of his predecesor, disregarding that the current leader of the alliance was the main source of stress in part 1. if he can find a way to learn the correct martial art that his body was literally built for instead of the sun woo style then we can at least tick one thing off as done. OOOOORRR..... they might leave it as a moment of character development 🤷♂

Dropped this garbage after 8 chapters it’s been 6 years for me and I’m glad this was not living in my head rent free god what a let down I remember back then reading this on mangarock but I started on new wave not knowing new waves was the 2nd part after that i went back to read breaker then reread new waves.
So far they have not answered any of those questions or even hinted at any of them. And I kind of miss the fan service. I haven't even seen so much as cleavage yet. And Saehee is non-existent utterly
Honestly I was kind of hyped and disappointed. I mean we can see that shion at last has some of the prestance he should have as the leader of the sung woo clan and the only disciple of Nine arts, but at the same time it's exactly like you said. We don't know at what point in time we are in the story, we don't know the current situation of the murim and can't understand anything since nothing is related to the end of Season 2 of yet. Right at the start of the first chapter you understand already that the story start exactly like season 1 except this time shion has the role of the master. Hopefully it just the start and slowly but surely we'll have the answers to the questions we got from season 2.

I just remembered that season 3 should be out, I am not happy that there's a new mc sorta and that it's not starting from the end of season 2. I'm just gonna keep reading and hope that things get back to what I believed it should be
I love this series so much, that in 2015, I bought a box set entirely in French that came with full artworks of every character, and the foldable poster so I was extremely stoked to hear about the third season, and the fact that they’re releasing it in English. Even though I already have the collection, I’m still going to go out and buy the volume English so that my kids can read them.
It almost seems as though they're doing this sort of opening for new readers more so than previous readers. Which is understandable. They have to not only continue their story, but can't necessarily bank on the popularity of it anymore due to the fact it has been 7 years since New Waves ended. Ideally it would have been better to have them take a much more brief hiatus but they understandably wanted to try a new story after working on the same piece for so many years. Not everyone can keep working on the same story to the scale of One Piece, Detective Conan, Hajimme No Ippo , or Kingdom without getting bored or dreaming of something more on the side of such an expansive work. While that sucks for us as readers, as a fellow creator however, it's totally understandable. Artists can get bored. Regrettably, it almost seems as though they're taking a J.J Abrams approach like he did for The Force Awakens. General storyline of A New Hope with new characters that would appeal to younger audiences so as to suck them into the story and keep them coming back. One can only hope that Shioon isn't some seriously different person like Luke was portrayed to be in Last Jedi.
For sure, I reckon there's a push to get new fans into the series. And absolutely, it's rough working on the same series for so many years. A break to work on the things their passionate I totally support. I think the Star Wars Sequels really gave me some trepidation for sequels and how they can go wrong. Here's hoping The Breaker will be a good one in the end

At this point I hope that new kid is kind of a plot to bring back mc from hate just like he did for his master untill siho got shot, this being another symbolism aside from the new kid being just like mc, as if saying mc is getting close to goomoonryongs level from season 1. Aside from that if they don't give some continuity to new waves events it is practically impossible to enjoy the story being an old fan from the time season 1 came out.
I expect some fighting scenes from MC this time and also some romance of MC with Jinnie and Sera. And for the down parts - ART, unnecessary loser.The story plot looked it was pushing the loser and MC to meet each other. Already the ruler of land is disappointing me and I hope not breaker 3
i find part 3 start to be ok. from what i have read it is going into the story and having shin take his own disciple like his former master 1 very much like himself. tbh i am a bit salty about jini as her ending in NW seem to indicate that she was going to rise above her grandfather lvl but she was running away and on the back foot a lot so far. but again not sure how long has passed since NW and part 3. on the webtoon thing i think its ok as NW was different to breaker and i can get a one punch man feel of it. i know nothing about drawing so what i say next has no back up to it but i think a webtoon would make it easier on the artist and allow for other priority like the story to be focused on more but that is what i hope. i am a fan who is happy that is has come out and will continue reading in good faith. tbh what i want from part 3 is shin and 9 arts sitting down and having a real talk about their history. not so much as to realine them or smooth everything over but give them both a chance to talk since all contact they had from end of part 1 and all through part 2 has been in front of other important people. just my thoughts 12 chapters in but am just happy to have somthing to read

I really hope saehee makes an appearance in the story again. Imo she grounded shiyoon and kept at least 1 foot in normalcy. We haven't seen nor heard mention of her since S.U.C attacked the school.
So you mean that Sae-Hee symbolises a world of normalcy for him? I disagree. On the contrary, she was one of the reasons why the main character delved more into the world of Murim, as to protect her, etc. Moreover, she wasn't even a good supporting character, as she didn't even contribute much to Shiwoon's development, as there were other female leads around who had a real influence on him, motivated him and presented a different point of view (obviously Kang Sera, even Jinie did better; those two also should be the main shipping options too, if the author ever considers putting some romance in the story). Personally, I think it would be better to leave Sae-Hee as insignificant as she is right now, giving her "screen time" for the sole purpose of rescuing her and making her confused about what is going on over and over again is just a waste of time.
im enjoying the story of the new kid much like yall did with siwoon , but thats mainly only because ive never read the breaker before eternal force is my first read

I waited for this sequel for 6 years and I'm honestly loving every panel of it. The creator already said external force will be twice the size of new waves so I'm not surprised by the slow start. And the artwork is a downgrade from previously but at one point I thought we would never get season 3 so I'm happy nonetheless.
yeah i am also ok with the start of it, compared to other current series, they just seem to be trying to grab new readers.
Season 3 was originally planned to be twice as long as season 2, so im sure things will change later on.

@@SeaGee I think the artwork will improve over time the artist did the amazing art for part two this is just a new style for the breaker and translating the original character designs will take a bit however the fight scenes have really improved due to the new style just like with solo leveling its really easy to follow the flow of the fights

I actually recently discovered The Breaker series. Binged S1 in a couple of hours and was blown away by how engaged I was with the characters and story.
I went looking to see if there was more of this series and discovered that there is a second season with 200 chapters that was finished and a third season currently being published and I was very excited. But then I saw some comments about how S3 was immensely disappointing and I got worried so I decided to check out the first chapter of S3.
The art-style change was the first and most obvious change I noticed and it was honestly quite... jarring. S1 had such amazing detail, the fights always had a lot of weight to them and the characters always looked sharp and some of the panels are amazing with the black and white art-style.
Now the characters look unfocused and almost look like a draft rather than a finished drawing. Then again, I know nothing about art and drawing so maybe it's just me.
The new character being a complete copy of Shiwoon also doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence because we've already seen how that will play out and makes it a lot harder to care for him.
I also didn't have to wait for so many years so I can't imagine how other people feel. I will remain optimistic but I will probably refrain from reading S2 until S3 has at least 100+ chapters so I can have a decent sample size of whether to continue reading it or not .

Honestly I have a lot of gripes with it but, imma save my critiques till after I've finished the series. Regardless of if whether it turns out shit or not, I've waited 6 years for this. I'm pretty sure we all remember the highschool deadlines we skipped waiting for a new chapter to be released on our favorite ripped scan sites. The times we re-read new waves in college when we had nothing better to do. I ain't saying shit until I've consumed everything this story has to give.
I advise y'all who have issues with do the same. We spent 6 years waiting, don't let the art style stop you from finishing this story, don't let the introduction of a new character be what stops you from seeing out Shiwoon all grown up send the authors your support and bleed them dry for breaker content.

The author already said he was tired of The Breaker and that he didn't want to write about it for the next 10 years.. Well this is the result. The lack of details in the faces are hard to pass. If this were a new series it should have been cool. But it's not a new series. I really thought I was reading a fan fiction. Reading some comments I realize I wasn't the only one. Change in format. Chage in drawing style. I wonder who got the horrible idea to do all that.. This is like when they make a 2nd movie and change the actors which of course ruin the saga.. I think maybe the new kid is there to put the mc in the master position. What can change that I don't know. After all the nine arts dragon did his crimes because of his stupid own brain washing so I don't get the new plot purpose.
I first read the webtoons first without knowing the story and i love the visuals since i can only read the available chapters i found out through the comments that i was reading season 3.so, i got curious to know more then, i started to read the manhwa it was jarring at first but, i came to love the master of the mc! And panels for the fightings are great! I'm invested now. Even though i still don't like the mc that much i love the master and will continue to read it to find out more!

The new character is a little bit of both...he's secondary main character. Who's most likely going to have to prevent further conflict from being achieved by his predecessors. This manhwa is like reading a kung fu movie

thank u very much for reminding me about the breaker; i read the series 3 years ago (before covid) and i had completely forgot about the series due to the lack of a confirmed release date for its 3rd season. i just took a look at its first episode of its third season, and i must say that i am slightly disappointed
i remember the breaker as an old fashion manhwa that felt kind of like my own personal secret hobby. the story inspired me to actually start to work out somewhat and get into shape
but looking at the third season now is honestly disappointing. i know the story cant be exactly the same as it used to be, but all these changes make me feel like im reading a completely different story; and i dont really think i like it. i do miss the old breaker and even though this new season isnt what i hoped it would be for now, i'll read it out of respect for the 2 prior seasons and in hope that it gets better.

I read the second and it was amazing, I was getting into the 3r season with really high hopes about the continuing of shiwoons history and how he was going to lead sunwos clan, the last chapter of season 2 was really emotional and what really was unique in shiwoon was his really strong spirit and mind also how happy he was no matter what but in the 3rd season they just destroy this incredible character, they made him super serious (I am ok in some way with this) but what I really hate was that he never really smiled again they change that unique thing he had and also changed the main character to like a remake of him that’s trash I’m sorry but he is trash they cut the main story that the 2cond season left us and did almost a new story with a mew Mc, it’s like the author didn’t care at all about the main history. I really had hopes to this 3rd season but now I’m really desappointed in so many ways, really sad for a manhwa that really had a good and serious history.
My problem with part 3 is the focus on Kang
New Waves started off sluggish with the MC broken Ki Center and all, and in the 1st series he was quite similar to this new character before joining the martial arts world so give it some time is all I will say.
I loved the black and white art style and rehashing of old plots is funky at best. Still gonna follow along for about 20-30 chapters before making my final call about it as the breaker and new waves are amazing so i have a lot of trust in the creators... for now.
12 years ago this story started, I really feel old (and disappointed) for having waited so long, I also REALLY hope that the first chapters will be a short introduction for new readers, BUT, I doubt that the quality will improve, why?, well, the artist said he didn't want to draw as much as in the first two seasons.
I'd rather he hadn't released the third season if he wasn't going to be able to offer the same quantity and quality as before.

New waves had some issues but it was overall a good journey but part 3 is confusing to me. TBH I'm not impressed, for now I think it sucks. I'l have to wait to make a full but I don't have high expectations
I read the entire series in 3 days after seeing s3 release. Needless to say this is one of my favorite works of fiction. I have read it probably 5 or 6 times in the last 7 years. I am so far not super happy with S3. You summed it up best as can be that we already GOT THIS STORY. Not only did we get this story already but it WAS TOLD SO MUCH BETTER THE FIRST TIME. I just am praying it gets better. Going to keep reading because i love the original deeply

Facts. New kid is a lot like Shioon but there is much potential he has as his own character. And theres still Chun Woo, we havent really seem much of him since the first Breaker.
I'm not happy coz it just seems like a season 1 repeat so far, an inexperienced kid getting mixed up in murim, I want to hope it will get better but I've a feeling this new character is going to stay but I'm not interested in him at all as it's just a repeated story albeit slightly different and he is super annoying in fact if he died I wouldn't care which isn't nice as the authors worked hard on the story of season 1&2 and so I wanted to like him but I just want him to go away. I know they want to appeal to new readers but I don't want to have to wait for a 100 chapters for it to pick up where season 2 ended coz it was epic how season 2 ended with the same character of the ending of season 1.

I feel let down. After all my love I built up for shiwoon was shattered. The new mc was overall a mistake. But that doesn’t mean that it’s all bad. Except when the mc got some training from 9AD.

So after 9 months after release, with all these chapters that has been released- season 3 not so bad, has interesting solutions and desidions, some moments cool(new Siwoon is bad ass) I have become tolerant to new design and format. Unfortunately some plot points, like tournament, have been abandoned.

The manwha version in season 3 is much better than the manga, just accept it and shut up. It's better in style, drawing, story and fights. And the art is incredible, so for all the people that says that it sucks, just read it, it's much much better than the two first seasons, which were so boring. 200 episodes to see a good fight.... Here you have everything, the art, the good story and the fights, much better now than then.
After 7 years I feel like if the series resumed in the middle of the action I wouldn't even be able to really understand what's happening and the start that we got is a good way of getting back into it more slowly. I obviously expect answers to be given a shiwoon opens up to the mc about the whole murim thing. Fun fact I didn't even remember the manga was about murimsband whatnot since it's been so long. All I remembered was the crazy strong master and his student trying to stop him from his goal by getting even stronger. What marked me about the breaker as a whole was the start and this new start kinda repeating itself comes across as what the breaker is to me, which is a story about a kid wanting to get stronger and by desiring that got enrolled in a giant mess. So yeah for me it's no big deal

Stop talking about the slow start, it isn't even slow compared to the other season, the problem is the new MC (and yes, it is a MC, you can only see how much screen time he has and how much the real MC has), the character has a cheat, it is not likeable, and that all those people try to help him or ask him to do thing doesn't have any logic. Author has forgotten a lot of likeable characters for using this 2nd MC.
been waiting 7 years for this. was upset that it ended so abruptly. so i hate the kid, not his fault but hes just a carbon copy and we are drawn away from siwoon. its like the intruduciton of boruto except that kang has nothing to differentiate him from siwoon which in turn is even more frustrating. the style change was a kick in the nuts and a spit in the face kinda moment. the old art style complimented teh fighting scenes so well now its just... i dont know. hopefully we can get used to it but it put in traditional japanese manga style hit different and the art just looked that much more immaculate.
at this point i just want to know more about siwoon's mental and physical state and why he didnt learn more about the heaven and earth sect of his predecesor, disregarding that the current leader of the alliance was the main source of stress in part 1. if he can find a way to learn the correct martial art that his body was literally built for instead of the sun woo style then we can at least tick one thing off as done. OOOOORRR..... they might leave it as a moment of character development

Dropped this garbage after 8 chapters it’s been 6 years for me and I’m glad this was not living in my head rent free god what a let down I remember back then reading this on mangarock but I started on new wave not knowing new waves was the 2nd part after that i went back to read breaker then reread new waves.
So far they have not answered any of those questions or even hinted at any of them. And I kind of miss the fan service. I haven't even seen so much as cleavage yet. And Saehee is non-existent utterly

Honestly I was kind of hyped and disappointed. I mean we can see that shion at last has some of the prestance he should have as the leader of the sung woo clan and the only disciple of Nine arts, but at the same time it's exactly like you said. We don't know at what point in time we are in the story, we don't know the current situation of the murim and can't understand anything since nothing is related to the end of Season 2 of yet. Right at the start of the first chapter you understand already that the story start exactly like season 1 except this time shion has the role of the master. Hopefully it just the start and slowly but surely we'll have the answers to the questions we got from season 2.
Come on this masterpiece is just getting started, till now the recent chapters really dope, still can't believe that shioon are more respected and becoming that badass in the murim world, i hope second mc can follow his step

I just remembered that season 3 should be out, I am not happy that there's a new mc sorta and that it's not starting from the end of season 2. I'm just gonna keep reading and hope that things get back to what I believed it should be
I love this series so much, that in 2015, I bought a box set entirely in French that came with full artworks of every character, and the foldable poster so I was extremely stoked to hear about the third season, and the fact that they’re releasing it in English. Even though I already have the collection, I’m still going to go out and buy the volume English so that my kids can read them.

It almost seems as though they're doing this sort of opening for new readers more so than previous readers. Which is understandable. They have to not only continue their story, but can't necessarily bank on the popularity of it anymore due to the fact it has been 7 years since New Waves ended. Ideally it would have been better to have them take a much more brief hiatus but they understandably wanted to try a new story after working on the same piece for so many years. Not everyone can keep working on the same story to the scale of One Piece, Detective Conan, Hajimme No Ippo , or Kingdom without getting bored or dreaming of something more on the side of such an expansive work. While that sucks for us as readers, as a fellow creator however, it's totally understandable. Artists can get bored.
Regrettably, it almost seems as though they're taking a J.J Abrams approach like he did for The Force Awakens. General storyline of A New Hope with new characters that would appeal to younger audiences so as to suck them into the story and keep them coming back.
One can only hope that Shioon isn't some seriously different person like Luke was portrayed to be in Last Jedi.
For sure, I reckon there's a push to get new fans into the series. And absolutely, it's rough working on the same series for so many years. A break to work on the things their passionate I totally support.
I think the Star Wars Sequels really gave me some trepidation for sequels and how they can go wrong. Here's hoping The Breaker will be a good one in the end

At this point I hope that new kid is kind of a plot to bring back mc from hate just like he did for his master untill siho got shot, this being another symbolism aside from the new kid being just like mc, as if saying mc is getting close to goomoonryongs level from season 1.
Aside from that if they don't give some continuity to new waves events it is practically impossible to enjoy the story being an old fan from the time season 1 came out.

Not sure why fans are happy with the breaker eternal force its pretty good. The author needed Time to flesh out the world and it looks promising.

i find part 3 start to be ok.
from what i have read it is going into the story and having shin take his own disciple like his former master 1 very much like himself.
tbh i am a bit salty about jini as her ending in NW seem to indicate that she was going to rise above her grandfather lvl but she was running away and on the back foot a lot so far. but again not sure how long has passed since NW and part 3.
on the webtoon thing i think its ok as NW was different to breaker and i can get a one punch man feel of it. i know nothing about drawing so what i say next has no back up to it but i think a webtoon would make it easier on the artist and allow for other priority like the story to be focused on more but that is what i hope.
i am a fan who is happy that is has come out and will continue reading in good faith.
tbh what i want from part 3 is shin and 9 arts sitting down and having a real talk about their history. not so much as to realine them or smooth everything over but give them both a chance to talk since all contact they had from end of part 1 and all through part 2 has been in front of other important people.
just my thoughts 12 chapters in but am just happy to have somthing to read

I really hope saehee makes an appearance in the story again. Imo she grounded shiyoon and kept at least 1 foot in normalcy. We haven't seen nor heard mention of her since S.U.C attacked the school.
I do genuinely wonder if the authors forgot about her. To me she felt like she just came and went she was remembered
So you mean that Sae-Hee symbolises a world of normalcy for him? I disagree. On the contrary, she was one of the reasons why the main character delved more into the world of Murim, as to protect her, etc. Moreover, she wasn't even a good supporting character, as she didn't even contribute much to Shiwoon's development, as there were other female leads around who had a real influence on him, motivated him and presented a different point of view (obviously Kang Sera, even Jinie did better; those two also should be the main shipping options too, if the author ever considers putting some romance in the story).
Personally, I think it would be better to leave Sae-Hee as insignificant as she is right now, giving her "screen time" for the sole purpose of rescuing her and making her confused about what is going on over and over again is just a waste of time.
