After a confrontation between O5-4 and the revived Civil War General William Tecumseh Sherman, the Foundation pulled all agreements with them and only agreed to work in a time of need. Regardless, the Pentagram moves on, and so does the Foundation. You can read this whole confrontation, and much more of course, on the page of SCP-5859. I study on these minor GOI too hard sometimes. TL;DR, you're right, they both have a mutual distrust and disliking of eachother, but don't fight for the sake of humanity. All because of a highly conveluded story.

They use different weapons, different uniforms, and different armor. The camouflage pattern is also different, HECU used a modified M81 woodland pattern for urban environments.
The Pentagram serves as a semi-hostile, semi-allied They are directly connected with the US Army and they are kinda like the Alpha-1/Omega-1 of the United States except they dont care about the SCPs There relationship with delta force and uiu is prob neutral or allied, idk
@@aquatic4760 Yeah ik, issue is that like i said before, they are sort of a threat to the foundation and as i said, kinda like Omega 1/Alpha 1 and since UiU is allied with the SCPF and other allies, it dont really appreciate the pentagram doing that stuff and according to lore, uiu does not like the organization but due to it being related to the US and them being way out of their league, they cant do anything to stop them

@@misulincu evidently not canon on the wiki, isn't even in the wiki, for starters the Foundation and GOC have tech and weaponry that the Pentagram couldn't even comprehend the existence of, also 05's are never called to battle, they are the most secretive part of tge Foundation to the point where not even there enemies know about them, i don't know what roblox game you got this from buddy? But on the wiki, GOC and Foundation would destroy Pentagram due to plasma tech

keep in mind the GOC and SCPF mostly use readily available military equipment
