$37,000 would be about $300,000 today, quite a bit of money for 3 broken toes. hilarious scene when al lewis came in (in pajamas) with the $37,000. and i love listening to the live audience in these old shows, you can always hear individual people laughing, a lot of times it's young people, usually young girls cracking up, very infectious.
