I just received my Oru Bay kayak and am totally impressed. It goes together as easy as this video would make you think. Even easier actually. It is super light weight and and surprisingly comfortable to sit in. It is the lightest kayak I have ever put my hands on. I was able to assemble the Oru Bay, without reading the instructions, but this video provided some tips to make it easier. 5 stars for Oru. Great Job.
Loved my Oru Bay ST, but it had a stubborn crease that wouldn't fold correctly despite solutions from support. It made for terrible tracking and lack of momentum. Still, support was super helpful and the product is really cool.
I got the Coast so I'm selling my old Bay to a friend - thanks for keeping the original assembly video online so I can send it to him without confusing him with the updates you made to the latest version. Also FYI: / is a slash. \ is backslash.
LOL. I hear you. I tried to assemble it at REI. Worked on it for over an hour. Store manager could not help. I have to go back tomorrow as we left it on the floor, 1/2 assembled. If I can’t do this by myself, no sense in getting it.
@10:29 Warning! I cut/pinched my finger pretty bad when removing the floorboard by pulling up. You should probably warn users not to have their fingers near the folding grooves under the floorboard since it becomes a clamp with sharp edges as you pull up.
The point of this is mainly to have kayak you can carry load and launch without having to tie it down to a trailer or car rack. I just sold a heavy kayak and looking at a compact one like this for the ease.
Just a heads up, you keep saying backslash (\) when you mean slash (/). No idea why that irked me as much as it did. Anyway, this looks killer. I'd love to get my hands on one.

1:35 One time my coworker had to make a video that showed her hands, so she charged a manicure to the expense account. Missed an opportunity here.
