FYI. A light cue is an ACTION, often a group of actions executed by multiple people. It is certainly not a group of settings on a light console (or sound console, etc). I wish more people who do videos like this understood that!
Lighting n00b but a lab member... still getting started through modules. So are presets only for programming? And then record positions, colors, etc on cues also? I'm still trying to wrap my head around presets, cues, cuelists, etc. These 5 minute videos are helping though. Thanks!
I don't, I choose to only cover the consoles that I find the be the very best for each segment of the market (so that I can cover it best), and ONYX beats out Chamsys for most of my audience.

Yes, presets are used for programming, and we use presets to build cues
