I love how you dressed you set with flowers and pots matching the color palette of the game! Details!

Oh right. That was, um, totally on purpose. :)

A really interesting theme for this game. I can't wait for it to come onto Kickstarter. Thank you for sharing this video to help me learn more about this game.

Really like the look of this. Also, nice video :)
If I understood the yellow card mechanic correctly though, they seem a bit random. Do you just get them if you happen to draw them from the market deck? Is there any way to mitigate it, or might one person suddenly end up with all of them?

You're correct that you take them into your hand if you pull them into the Marketplace. You can mitigate against this (some cards allow you to remove them from your hand). Most of them (there are 9 in total in a deck of 69-ish) cards are pretty benign. They introduce a push-your-luck aspect when buying cards (and also when using card abilities that allow you to cycle through the market deck). Most playtesters seem to enjoy them, though removing them from the deck is a perfectly valid option.

I don't understand how you ACTUALLY PLAY this game. Has anyone made a simple how-to document? I started one for our own sakes here in lockdown (see below), but still got stuck almost immediately.
Each player starts with these 9 (pink) cards:
    5 x ‘budget’
    2 x ‘global market’
    1 x ‘poor housing stock’
    1 x ‘remote properties’
Select them, shuffle them and put the resulting stack face-down in front of you.
Now you’ll each be mayor of a City. Find a token to mark your progress, and put it on ‘40’ as the starting point.
The remaining cards are shuffled and put face-down in the centre of the play area.
Somebody lays the first five out, face up; this is called the ‘market place’.
The first player lays out their first five cards in front of themselves. Then they play their turn
.... HOW?????? WHAT DO THEY DO????? THE KIT INCLUDES A PARAGRAPH ON 'SPECIAL RULES' BUT DOESN'T TELL US HOW TO PLAY A NORMAL TURN
For example, how do you buy anything and add it to your set? (A biogas plant costs 6, but I've only got five budget cards anyway - and no more than five cards in total can 'show')
    Please help!

Hi! The actions are discussed at 2:07 in the video if you want to see your options. To your specific question, you generate income from the money icons on the card. Some are worth more than 1 if I remember correctly, hence some cards costing more than 6.
