I think having mathematics, economics, computer science background is very relevant. Going through data analyst job adverts this background is their basics.

Omg the part where Tina talked about "learn coding in 8 hrs" really got me because that's so me...and sometimes the whole thing feels like a zigzag movement...like where the heck am i starting from.

Most of them do touch everything in 8hrs or so, it just won’t take you 8hrs to finish the video. Might take A week to A month or more to watch, learn, and grasp it. You won’t become a pro but you’ll know enough to start working on projects because that’s what will give you experience and make you better.

I just finished my sql course on Udemy and youtube abiut to launch into excel which i have quite a good knowledge about and power BI, i am also trying to do a project on it,, this video just provided me with ways to go about it.

Is there a difference between data analytics and data analysis? If there is whats it all about?
Secondly, i hear a lot of noise about how much a data analyst can earn both in Nigeria and abroad even as a beginner which is funny, to be honest i get motivated 😉 when i watch such videos even though i take them with a pinch of salt.
How much is the feasible paycheck of a data analyst?

RE your 1st question, data analysis is the process of collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to extract insights. On the other hand, data analytics is a broader concept that encompasses data analysis as well as the tools, techniques and processes used to derive insights from data.
As for your question about paychecks, based on my experience, it is indeed possible to work remotely as a data analyst and earn a good income. While the rewards may not come immediately, they are achievable. Take your courses seriously, share your work online, network actively, and stay positive, you might be amazed by the results.

I am actually learning Data Analytics with Python, but I really don't know how to use Excel as an expert. Although I can perform basic data analysis on Excel, but I just like coding for data analysis than the click and drop of Excel.
I encourage you to continue learning Python and build projects with it before moving on to another tool.
