There were instructions on the PC site for baking in a Dutch oven. Unfortunately here in Canada that package sells for $12, a little pricey for one loaf of bread.
Even at $9 here in the US the price is a bit much. It wont be a staple here, that is for sure. But it surely does meet the needs of those folks who can't get their hands on an artisan bread.
It works! :) Place the 6-qt. (5.7-L) Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven in the oven and preheat at 450°F (230°C) for 30 minutes. Make a few shallow cuts on top of the dough. Carefully transfer dough (with the parchment) into the preheated Dutch oven. 2. Bake, covered, for 8 minutes. Carefully remove the lid and bake until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
Yes, the first rise in 2 hours. And then the second rise is 1 hour. If you don't do the second rise, you may have a tighter crumb structure to your bread.
Just bought this bread mix. After watching your video. I think I can do this.
I'm glad I saw this video.....I was originally confused when it didn't give a size of the pan to use.
Thank you for the Review! I watched this video before deciding to purchase the Bread Mix and give it a try!
You're welcome! I send this package to my daughter every quarter and she is thrilled!

My dough did not double. It's in the oven now so fingers crossed it turns out.
I make this bread atleast once a month. It is so amazing. I alternate between this and caramel latte bread. And eat wayyy to much of both
Let us know how the dutch oven method works.

Hello. Directions says 2 hours to let it rise. Do we have to do an additional hour?

It would be nice if that put that in the instructions
