ABOUT ME
I am 25 years old. I was born in Poland and grew up in the UK. I am married to a wonderful man called Maciej with whom I vlog on a seperate channel (everdaters). I also lived in places such as Paris and Alesund in Norway throughout my life.
Why fragrances? I have always been very sensitive to smells. For example I remember being 6 years old and going on a fishing trip with my family. After catching fish I could smell fish oil on my hands for days but no one believed me. Wherever I lived I always spent hours in my local fragrance shop and get to know many amazing fragrances. Now I am sharing my passion for fragrances on RUclips. I hope I can bring you value by introducing you to new fragrances and hopefully someday interviewing perfumers and giving you an insight into the perfume industry. My dream perfumer to interview is Frederic Malle, just saying :)

Bought the Y EDP as a blind buy. I had to reduce number of sprays💨💨 from four to two because its so strong. Don't regret for buying it .ur fan from South Africa🇿🇦

Hi Monika, of these 10 fragrances, I own Allure Sport Eau Extreme, which is becoming my favorite thanks to you, and also YSL "Y" EDP. Something about YSL "Y," however, I find really unpleasant, or perhaps it may be just a little too strong. I do want to give it another shot, but probably will wait until the Spring/Summer to do so.
Btw, your videos are truly intoxicating!
I’ve just found your channel and I’m so glad I did ! Your content and editing is just on point and if I ever had a channel I would like it to be like yours! Also , isn’t it annoying when some people “ruin” fragrances for you? If a certain perfume is someone else’s signature fragrance it just feels wrong when you wear it isn’t it ?? And that’s why I don’t really like having a signature scent. Great video Monika , keep them coming ! 💕

Fantastic list Monika. Interesting choices, I’m in fact wearing Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille today. I really enjoy MFK and Frederic Malle fragrance house’s, so unique and classy scents. Can’t go wrong with Dior and Chanel, timeless fragrances.
Can a young men with jeans and hoodies wear MFK and Frederic Malle fragrances ? Or they are classy and only for mature men or old men ?

Hello Monika, the Dior Homme Parfum is indeed discontinued, BUT, Dior is launching a new version as of this month if I'm not mistaken, Dior Homme Parfum 100 ml, more transparent, brighter bottle. Hope the scent is the same, because I love the hell out of this juice, and if I ever run out of it, I want to be able to restock 😇.

My mother and I named our cat after Coco Chanel, but we just call her Chanel lol. I love leaving a trail with my fragrance especially when I'm walking at my Riverwalk alot, people are always walking past you and I love leaving a scent trail but as I mature and get older I don't mind some scents that sit closer to the skin, it depends on my mood. There's a reason I started liking skin scents, I just can't explain it.

Are you planning a review of Dior Homme 2020? It seems male fragrance reviewers dislike it, but Demi Rawling put it as one of the best new date fragrances she's ever smelled. Your take on this?

@@MonikaColognes I trust your opinion and look forward to your review :-) I watched all reviews, the male reviewers were disappointed it's very different to the original, said it's bad, but still said their girlfriends liked it. The thing is, it has a great sillage for 10+ hours. However, the person wearing it cannot smell it anymore after about 1h. It's woody, musky, and modern. I really hope you'll test it on your boyfriend, and see how you feel over a few days. Because if you try it on yourself, you may quickly forget it is there. But still, you'll keep getting whiffs of it when you move.
You look so fresh, clean and beautiful..and I could listen to you all day.

I’m a doctor and can’t really wear strong fragrances, but life is so stressful right now I’d love to know what I can wear and enjoy myself but without making my patients sick/nauseous. Have learned a lot from your content and have been using your/Josephine/Clemence’s perfume videos to help me relax/unwind during this stressful time, so thank you ❤️

They say it's a blue scent but they are mistaken ysl y Parfum is a masterpiece and that scent stands alone could be my favorite of my collection but it has stiff competition
I do have Chanel Allure... and Dior homme parfum. Great ones.

Coty ..Wild Musk..it's very inexpensive...I've been wearing it since the 70s. I have many expensive perfumes but I get more compliments on this fragrance than all others. Men adore this fragrance on women and it leaves a gorgeous scent trail..

I’m in the UK , it’s already listed on the Dior UK website £104 for 100ml . Dior Rep told me in will be in stores mid February and has been reformulated.
Dior site lists the same notes so I’m expecting a very similar smell but maybe weaker in projection and longevity . I stocked up and bought 3 backup bottles of 75ml

Hey, girl, also try Versace Dylan Blue man, also a very very very good fragrance that leave an long powerfull trail.

I tried to spray more than 6 sprays but it didn't work.
@@alialdandan9379 It project very good! Also depends from different climate, whether, your ph. For me 3-4 h projection, big silage like 6-7 ft, and total longevity of 8 h.
I used in summer and winter but nothing changed, so I ended up spraying it in my car and it didn't even last😪

Black Orchid edt is one that i got in my collection. It is strong and l love it, not because it is strong but because it is so good. For me it is sexy, daring and i think it is a masterpiece. I know ppl that don't like it and and don't why...well good for me, no one smell like me.

Dior Homme Parfum won't be discontinued, it will be re-released in a 100 ml size bottle, BUT at this point no one can tell whether there will be a reformulation going along with this change.
Sad times for those who loved the old version. It will most probably get changed...

I've tried Chanel Allure homme sport eau extrême. I really wanted to like but, after half an hour is gone. No smell left. What do you think. Do you think the tester in the store could be a fake? Or does it really perform that bad?

Two fragrances I own which leave an intoxicating trail are Bvlgari Aqva Amara and Mancera Cedrat Boise. No joke, I can leave the room and come back hours later and I can still smell the scent in the room. I really enjoy both fragrances! 👌🏽

Dior Homme has now been re-named Dior Homme Original (EDT).
Dior Homme Parfum has been reformulated for 2020 but not the Intense version although this could well go the same way.
Hopefully they don’t do it to the intense
Dior Intence might be slightly different due to reformulation but its the same as previous models. Same ingredients.

Percival is really nice, fresh. But.. as you said a kind of niche version of designer freshie. It depends whether you want a crowd pleaser or not. I really actually like 40 knots. Such a great spring scent. Cedrat Boise from Mancera is really nice or maybe Jubilation from Amouage :)

Not really a fan of AHSEE. Don’t get me wrong, if it was the only fragrance I had I would wear it but it reminds me of Prada Luna Rossa, they have this weird anise/licorice kinda smell that I’m not too into

Yes it’s been reformulated and will be released in 100ml bottle . It will be a similar scent but likely weaker
