Awesome video! Very nice truck. The location is awesome and looks like a lot of fun. This truck climbed hills and went through mud much better than I expected.
I like the black. I did mine in a dark red. I don't drive it. My bruiser is an animal. My tundra can't climb crap or go anywhere challenging. I'm gunna switch out the leafs and put some bigger tires on it. Seems to come to life with those changes. I really regret buying them.
Thank you for sharing this nice video. Would the conversion to a 4 link suspension and coil springs have better effect if combined with a larger tire diameter, for instance 108 mm-122 mm? Because the ground clearance is the same after the conversion, when the original tire diameter, 96 mm is used? Cheers.
Damn that's my whole check! I was looking around $200 cause I don't know how exactly how to build one I can't find one built so I'm trying to buy one online already built!
I spent approximately 1.200$ to get it built as it is, including transmitter, small parts, LEDs and all that hopups etc. .... I would sell it for 1.300$ plus shipping - it's in mint condition.
The Kit (to be build up by yourself) is manufactured by "Tamiya" and it'sname is "Tundra", costs arround 500$ plus electronics (speed controller, remote control, servos for steering & shifting, battery). You can order it by searching the internet for a good RC-shop what delivers to Iraq. The complete costs of my Tundra was, when fnished, arround 1200$ incuding electronics, lighting, colours, tuning, etc. Best Regards!
mentalmetal1 the wheels are standard from the kit, but I can't remmend this. Meanwhile I got some better shoes... The light kit is custom made using logic modules from "CTI" Germany.
thanks. but there are better chassis for crawling available. the tamiya chassis is nice and scale, but not too good in extreme offroad situations. currently I am building a Axial SCX10 chassis to mount a nice Tamiya Hilux body onto... much cheaper and tough solution....
No, not in this video. Later I lifted it up by using the upper mounting holes in the chassis frame. I also cut the front part of the rock slider and used bigger tires for more ground clearance: Tamiya Toyota Tundra Highlift brushless - "The Desert Experience"
Great looking truck. Awesome video. Thanks for the description at the end.
Nice video!!
Nice looking High-Lift with great modifications.

where did you get the marker lights on the roof?
Hello, what radio system Control, and the model of the electronic speed controller, thanks.
RC Controller is a Spektrum 3 channel system. ESC is a NOSRAM Matrix reverse (brushed) system.

Have you raised the transfer case?

On my high lift I have 2.2 tyres

I just have 1.9" rims with 105mm G-made tires at the moment. May bigger wheels would not have that scale look?!
My high lift looks scale but I have a land rover discovery body on it

sounds good ;-)
i think its stuck lol
