In a final where the ‘underdogs’ were a pack of history defying Bears and the ‘favourites’ were the Circus lead by world-class ring bearers anything could happen, and everything did… 🏆

What a brilliant game
If anyone was looking who to select for a Women's British & Irish Lions squad, not sure you could go far wrong from a blend of these 2 teams, maybe a few additions from elsewhere but, what a fantastic game, what great teams and what a season ender.
@@AndrewUnderwood-pl1ur I think that there’s a few Sarries who might make the cut too. And Lightning (Scaz and Sadia at least). Oh and Abbie Dow isn’t too bad either
@@maguffyn Reckon with an addition of Megan Jones & (agree) Dow & Packer, a Glos/Bris combi would be a fine BI Women Lions & hard to beat...a bit like the old men's County Championship days with Gloucestershire.
That was a great game, but it was spoiled for me by the low quality, blurred, video resolution. There were lots of good individual performances on both sides, but I always enjoy watching Tatiana "they shall not pass" Heard. She keeps appearing at high speed almost out of nowhere to totally flatten any opponent that carries the ball towards her team's defensive line, whether it's Gloucester or England she's playing for. Great technique, always legal, and great fun to watch! Perhaps a recent England men's ex-captain could watch and learn from her.

How come Emma Sing has not got a England contract???
Because Ellie Kildunne is a better attacking fullback, Breach can also play there and Venner can cover too. There’s just no space for her
@@maguffyn when you put it like that but still shame, she is a great player.
I absolutely agree that she’s great. I’m a huge fan and I’d been advocating for her the start for the Red Roses, but I can’t dispute the fact that Kildunne has taken her game to another level
@@maguffyn Taken overall Emma Sing is a better fullback than Ellie Kildunne as she is better defensively and is probably the best English kicker in the PWR. Emma also scores tries for Gloucester. Yes Ellie is a beautiful runner, so why not play her on the wing instead. (Jess Breach is poor defensively and cannot kick)
@@stevemathews9535 completely agree that she’s better defensively. And as a kicker. I am genuinely a huge Emma Sing fan. I would love her to get a Red Roses contract. But, I can also see where John Mitchell needs to manage the squad size. Each time I watch her play she’s awesome and has outplayed Kildunne the last 2 times they went head to head, but objectively I can understand the decision. I don’t like it, but I can understand it.
On a similar subject, what has Georgia Brock got to do in order to get a contract? She’s been outstanding all season

Not sure I've ever seen Zoe Aldcroft, with ball in hand, ever do something that ain't positive or make a mistake.
Great game but the TMO needs to have another closer look at the disallowed try, and the excessive commentary was a little distracting.
