I pulled One mythic out of 4 packs. In the video I mistakenly thought there were Two mythics, my mistake. I too was skeptical about these value packs, but now I may have a change of opinion. I'll definitely be getting more packs to see what kind of value there is. Thanks for the comment!.
I certainly know the difference between a Rare and Mythic now after all the comments! :) I'm a little new to this, there's definitely a learning curve. They are real, my Wal-Mart just happened to have some out early before release date.
Value booster breakdown was announced for this set as follows: 3 commons 2 uncommons 1 of any rarity (percentages not released) 1 basic land, traditional foil of any rarity, or Special Guest card (one of the Planeswalker cards done in Bloomburrow art style, again percentages not released) I think you got lucky with the pulls. At half the cost of play boosters with much less than half the anticipated value, I don't see the "value" in these value boosters.
@@clbookstore it's hard to keep track of all the symbols for different TCG games! Just wanted to point it out in case you spent more money on them thinking you were pulling mythics :)
Baylen is just a rare. But anyway i feel like you probably just got lucky. I would love to see a larger sample size of these, but at $3 a pack and you arent even guaranteed to get a rare, that's a steep price
I am happy for you that you, against all odds, actually got some decent cards in your packs. It does not however take away the fact that on average, these packs have virtually no value since on average they contain no rares or mythic rares. it is basically a pack of 7 random common cards of such low value that you can sometimes even find them for free, left behind on the tables after people have played a Draft or Sealed. They are called "value boosters" to fool people into thinking they contain value. I will not blame anyone for buying these, but do know that you are tricked and lured into spending money on an on average useless pack of cards. It is pure greed from the company that releases them, preying on good hearted people like our grandparents, friends, or yourself, that WANT to make a nice buy, but are tricked into buying these packs of worthless cards.
Thanks for the great comment. I’m going to do an upcoming video comparing value boosters to play boosters to see if these sentiments are correct. It seems that most people are convinced the value packs are garbage, we shall see. Thants again for the informative comment.
@@clbookstore Sadly I think the main reason they sell this product at places not really associated with MtG, like big food stores etc, is that they prey on good hearted people who are not very informed about this game, but know that their partner, friend or son etc plays and just want to buy a nice little pack or two for them, without any chance of knowing that what they buy is basically trash. (even if, for sure, some random packs will contain some random value).
If the set symbol is gold, it's a rare my friend, not a mythic. Silver is uncommon, black is common. Mythics are Copper/Reddish in colour, and you won't find them in these packs.
Thank for the comment and clarifying the rare vs mythic and keeping me honest! I actually did pull One mythic out four value packs, so there is a chance to get mythics in these value packs, which surprised me.
Crazy how this is still one of only 2 Videos who have opened these
"Is there a mythic in there?" I'm surprised you didn't hear my snort of derision on this product through my screen!

So they are actually real. Nobody has made an opening and no Store had them listed. Not even Cardmarket.

Rarity is in the bottom left corner. M is for mythic, R is for rare U/C is for uncommon and common respectfully. You got one mythic and one rare.
easier to see through the color of the set symbol

a lot of % are releaased 56% of the wildcards are rare/mythic in the land slot 49% chance of a foil 3% chance of a mr
Just stumbled across this video - great pulls :) Just FYI, silver logo is uncommon and rares are gold, mythics are like a bronzey/orange
Thank you. I knew I’d get that wrong.

What are you talking about? MTG is not color coded.
@@pokemontvunlimited7246 it absolutely is, friend! Black, silver, gold and orangey = common, uncommon, rare and mythic respectively.
I think I'll just gonna call them pauper booster
That first pack had some of the cards for golgari squirrels in limited. Maybe you can draft these 😂
isnt mythic leaf more orange?
Yes, you're right. The Baylen is actually a Rare and the Warren is a Mythic. I was mistaken in the video, thanks' for pointing it out.

Warren is actually pretty good pull. I wasn't expecting anything like that.
I'm glad to see some decent cards in the packs.

THREE DOLLARS A PACK?!?!
Baylen was a rare not a mythic. More surprised with Warren which is actually mythic rarity.
theres a small chance to get a 20p rare for a 3 pound booster
Just Fyi Value Boosters don't always contain Rates/Mythic's Sadly. But I in my opinion play boosters are worth it for $5
are these value boosters new with this set? ive never seen them before
Yes. They were just introduced with the Bloomburrow set.
What price were they going for?
$2.92 each at a local neighborhood Walmart store.
@@clbookstore that's higher than I imagined. That's with taxes?
Nope. Before tax
Bro Mystics are red and Not Gold, they have a m for mystic and Not a r for Rare

You're calling rarities wrong
Silver is uncommon, gold is rare
Mythics are a dark red/orange
Baylen is Rare. Warren Warleader is Mythic.
Thanks for the comment, I'm now realizing this after the help of all the comments!
Where do you even buy these
I got lucky and found some early in my local Wal-mart. The official release date is 08/02/2024, hopefully more will start showing up in stores.
The gold leaf is rare. Not mythic. Mythic is orange and has M in corner
Yes, my mistake. Thanks for the comment.
have got some good pulls from bloomburrow i somehow got 2 tutors that 40 pounds each lol and 8 other mythics
Value booster isn’t.
your better off buying singles online!
Bayln is a rare not mythic
Why would you waste your money on that garbage
I don't think their garbage at all. Same cards only fewer per pack at a lower price point. Why do you feel they're garbage? Thanks for the comment.
value boosters are not rly worth it
