I saw Hans Zimmer concert with my son last night at the O2 in London. It was an absolutely amazing show. Those musicians were a dream to listen to. A memorable night.

Gladiator music still going strong. Not like the film score that beat it to the Oscar. Still cannot believe the Oscar never went to zimmer and gladiator.
I think it's mostly snobbery. Hans Zimmer is nowhere near a classically trained composer and a generation had to grow up to realize that you don't need that to be an effectice communicator of emotions which is what film music requires. Thinking back now, I'm surprised he was even nominated... Not to mention that Lisa Gerrard was more than just a vocalist for the score. And yet, only Zimmer was nominated.

Quelle chance à ceux qui ont assister à cette merveilleuse expérience !! Fracture de la cheville juste avant pour moi … espérons que ce n’était pas son dernier concert en présentiel !!

When you go to see Hans Zimmer does he play specific themed music all night or does he play a variety of his work? Ie, does he play gladiator music all night or does he have variety, stuff from gladiator, pirates of the Caribbean etc? I really really want to see him live and listen to gladiator tracks. My favourite film and I imagine the orchestra is absolutely unreal! I don’t wanna buy tickets and not hear any gladiator music and be disappointed

🌱Does anyone else notice that Lisa Gerard makes serious mistakes in tempo? She visibly steps forward in practically every measure of the piece. He is clearly not in shape to fill this space. Nevertheless; My appreciation, admiration and respect for her will remain intact as always.🌹❣️

Love Lisa, but the simpler music of concerts past was more powerful. The music here is almost too much, giving greater power to a voice that doesn’t need it.
