"It's kind of annoying to see microtransactions in a 60 dollar game." oh sweet naïve 2012 Angry Joe, my sweet summer child, if only you knew what would come later.
Eh, Black Flag is possibly the last "good" Assassins Creed game in the series, and it was more about being a pirate than an assassin, which is kinda sad.
+lorenzo romano That was the best part about Black Flag lol. After that they came out with Unity which I disliked greatly apart from the CO-OP aspect and Syndicate which I didn't bother buying. Black Flag was probably the best pirate game I've ever played and I had a blast with it, but every time the game shifted back into a more Assassins theme I hated it, which is sad to see. Hopefully this year they can come out with a decent AC atleadt.
After growing up with no father in his life and seeing your mother and the rest of your home burn down right in front of your eyes, I don't blame Connor for being so lifeless and serious.
Xavier SantaMaria Because ezio witnessed all of that when he was 20+ yrs. Connor witnessed it when he was 7yrs old. 7YRS OLD!!!! HIS CHILDHOOD WAS ALREADY FCKED UP. Unlike ezio who has still a sister and an uncle, connor has basically no one and the only person who cared for him was also killed by HIM.
Well the reason they wanted someone besides connor was because connor was dull as fucking hell... Listening to him speak was like listening to grass grow... That guy has no other vocal than flatlined "i dont really give a damn" >_> I really did not find him interesting at all... Ezio went through a story that changed him from a charming girl's man into a man wanting revenge for his family and eventually into a wise older man with wisdom and experience. Connor's story was just....... Meh... No fucking feelings going into his story and so... people dind't get invested into the character at all.
Pain FuLL I liked Ezio because i found his character to be interesting, had nothing to do withoutside influences. He had a better storyline, better voice actor and a character that dind't completly jade the player... I understand connor having no time for being a jokester, but that's not what i'm asking for, you can have a brooding and savage character and still have him be interesting... Just do a better job at storytelling, the story we got from connor was weak. I wasn't interested in Connor by the end og the game... But hey, at least Connor was a more interesting character than Desmond Miles who was nothing more than a whiney white boy stereotype.
@@jokerbatman5656 Well Captain Obvious, you win the award for dumbest comment of the year. Pretty clear that Out Laws came here AFTER ACIII Remastered came out
@Jason Strom just cuz a character is very serious and monotone doesn't make them a bad character. His seriousness goes well with his character. Fictional characters like Batman are also very monotone but they aren't poorly written.
@@focuzz9263 bruh THANK YOU!! Connor is in no way stereotypical!! Sure, he could've been written better. I just don't know what yall want from a character neglected by his father, mourning his mother, and trying to fit into early American society lmaoo like cmon
T.A.D G.R That's what they always say. If they create one sketch two years earlier and then don't touch it for two years, it could still be said that it started when that sketch was done.
Zeniithe Creating a game within one year (especially if it's as big as Assassin's Creed IV) takes a lot of manpower. It would be unreasonable for ubisoft to commision several studios to make Assassin's Creed IV within a year. Just look how many studios were involved in making Unity, and that game still took 3 years to make!
You killed my mother, my father, my brother, my other brother, my sister, my pet, my cousins, my aunt, my grandfathers, my grandmothers and my kids, prepare to die
Arsany Osama IF SOMEONE KILLED MY DOGS I SWEAR I WOULD KILL HIM, FUUUUUCKKKKK HIM FUCKY FUCK SHIT FUCK HIM I WOULD KILL HIM EVEN IF THAT MEANT THAT I WOULD GO TO JAIL!!!!!!! FUCK!
I was so excited for the future timeline after the second game, but the third game fucked up it so bad. Every game after that isn't even trying anymore with the future timeline.
Well yeah I mean after Desmond there wasn't really a story anymore. Which is fine and could work I mean we don't really need an excuse to go through a bad ass story in historical times, but they keep trying to tie it to the present.
AC I: Alright, but I played it after playing the ones up to Revelations, so the lack of mechanics bored me. AC II: Fucking awesome. AC Brotherhood: loved it. AC Revelations: Playing as old Ezio bothered me a lot, but it was mostly fun. AC III: I forced myself to play it because it was an AC game, but god it was dull. AC IV: Absolutely fucking riveting to play, loved everything but the ending. People who I didn't want to die, did. Just didn't feel very rewarding.
***** My favorite character in the whole game, if not the series. The moment when she cut her finger and used the blood as lipstick... what an absolute bad-ass of a woman. I wanted her to live.
NolanStrange I know, I looked into it after I was done with the game. Still, made the ending sad for me, she could have died after the events of AC IV :/
AlphaBagel I might just remember the best parts of it, but I don't recall being bored at any point. Perhaps hunting for the elite ship parts with treasure maps was bit tedious, but other than that I enjoyed it.
i do not get this ........... why the hell everyone hates connor ............. how can he be humurous and charismatic .........he watched his mother burn to ashes in front of his fucking eyes......................... how can we xpect him to woo girls after that !!!! to me...Connor is one of the most believable characters in the whole AC series .........and people hates him cuz people hates reality !!!
so what? Ezio (AC2) watched almost his whole family, father, and 2 brothers being hanged and couldnt do nothing about it, exept for avenging them. He was the best caracter of the franchise. the thing with AC3 is that they underdelivered.. they promised huge open worlded battles, where you could split enemy soldier's throats off, and fight side by side with other american soldiers.. instead, nothing like that was presented to us.. and above all, joe explains it all in this video. i share his opinion, exept... i would give a lesser score. 6/10!
Yeah Ezio had to watch 3 of his family members die, Connor seeing his mother die is a moot point. Connor never so much as smirked, he wasn't believable at all.
Realism and authenticity don't generally make for particularly entertaining games. The main issue in AC3 is that neither Connor nor Desmond was likeable. Ezio was entertaining and charismatic. This made it more shocking and harrowing to see his family killed, and to see his transformation into an assassin, as well as the assassinations themselves. With Connor, there was no transition between his regular self, and assassin self. He was still humourless and flat, and I never truly sympathised with him. Making him more quiet and brooding than Ezio was a good idea. Making him completely flat wasn't. Corvo, Snake, Sam Fisher, they were all badass and likeable. Connor was neither, he was just a robot. Making games believable pretty much voids the point of games anyway. They're meant to be fun.
I actually liked Connor’s character. He wasn’t dull but naive and very serious. Especially when he went through trauma at 6/7 years old. It ruined his childhood and his personality. As he got older, he was eager to learn and train to find those responsible. In fact, it’s pretty realistic.
Nickolas Marchuk It was at least every bit as good as the ones before it. Combat was better, parkour was streamlined, tree-running was fun, naval missions were a blast, collectibles were more interesting, they not only brought in more animals but even let us hunt them!, stealth was improved for sheer number of places to hide, and the forts were better than the previous 2 games' Borgia Towers and Templar Dens. They allowed us to do all our shopping in a single store. Oh, and they finally did away with having to buy medicine or repair armor. And we at long last got ourselves the weather system we should've been having all along. And not only that but it was *perfect* because at the end of the game we could actually set the season and time of day however we wanted it which was F'ing great.
Here in my lab. Just got this new assassin's wrist blade. But you know what I like more than wrist blades? Knowledge. That's why I have these 200 DNA samples so I can see the past of different families using my animus. I relive a knew life every day.
One important factor never mentioned here is the fact that Native Americans never really had a moment to shine in history books, film, litterature, not tho mention the unraveling of the mass genocide & genocide attempts made against them. This game adresses that and finally gives a voice to a people ignored. I mean, ACTUALLY using kanien'keha:ka language and Native American actors who still speak it is worthy of praise in that respect alone. And on another note, westerner's opinion of the sterness of Native Americans is culturally imbalanced from the get-go; their sense of humour is different and was more akin to dry british humour. That and the fact that most Native American nations were taught a sense of respect in actually LISTENING to another's speach & words. Also, actually THINKING before speaking so as to recognize the impact and taking responsability for one's own words. These are cultural aspects still misunderstood today by the dominating culture in place. So in other words, bravo Ubisoft for taking a bold step where most people cower in shame in recognizing the massive wrongs done to hundreds of nations across North America. That alone makes this game, for me, a beloved one.
On the contrary, the native language sounds weird and forced into the game. It's like they couldn't find good voice actors so they just used whatever was available. Constantly remembering the crimes of the past can not help the past and usually only serves to stir up resentment in the present. I'm all for an accurate portrayal of history, but let's not pretend that we are changing the world by virtue signalling.
Joe says that Conner is “humorless and short spoken.” Well...that’s how the Mohawk people WERE. The creators got actual Native American consultants and descendants to develop the speech patterns and mannerisms of Conner. That, from my perspective, made him feel real to me.
Yeah I really think a lot of people just misunderstood Connor. He’s not by any means a bad character, people just don’t like him cuz they don’t like the character even though he’s well written
I have a lot of problems with AC3 but personally Connor isn't one of them even though Ezio is my favourite protagonist in the AC series we don't always need a brash, cocky making jokes all the time character however how naive he is is annoying but then again I'm pretty sure the Native American people were naive so it isn't to bad
I can appreciate how they made him true to life but let's not forget that this is still a video game. Real people can still be lifeless and dull and making them video game characters doesn't automatically make them interesting. He doesn't have to be jokey or as cocky as Ezio but give us a little bit more than just stoic and brooding because that just makes him one-dimensional.
Damn. That's commitment right there. I liked the idea of a less outspoken assassin. It makes more sense for someone who stalks and stealthily kills his targets rather than ezio who you can easily just drop in with and counter to be invincible.
I don't really understand why everyone hates on Connor for being too gloomy and angry. He has a damn good reason to be, anyone who played the game remembers that he saw his village burn down and watched his mother die. On top of that he found out that his father was responsible for the attack. Yeah, I'd be pretty pissed off if that happened to me.
I don't blame Conner, ezio also saw his family die and his love of his life Cristina die in his arms, plus watch his uncle die. He managed to still keep his normal personality, I don't hate on Conner, conner took his rage and channeled it trough combat. Both great characters but ezio will always be my fav, with Altair close second.
Cosmic armor Superman Ezio was actually my favorite too, I liked Connor though. but I couldn't stand Edward Kenway, and after that I stopped playing Assassins Creed. (Anybody want to swap an Ezio statue for an Edward one? ... nobody? ... damn! I never get any takers!)
I really like how he is gloomy and angry, though it didn't fit earlier in the game. he used to spare lives and let them live, but at the end I like how he becomes bad ass. like when he says "say a word, and you die" XD
AC1=8/10 Miss the mission construction. AC2=9/10 Best in series by far with best story, characters, and cities. ACB=7/10 Only one I couldn't finish other than Liberation. ACR=8/10 For some reason I really loved this one. AC3=8/10 Connor's one of my favorite assassins and the gameplay is awesome. AC3L=5/10 Bad everything. AC4=9/10 Second best, this one was gorgeous and more open than ever. ACR=6/10 A lazy slapstick copy of AC3's colonial setting and AC4's naval combat, still not as bad as AC3L. ACU=8/10 Shut up this games was great.
I dunno why, I really liked AC Unity. Something about it made me feel like I was playing AC 2. It was buggy and there was stuff that could be improved but it's like third best in the series for me behind AC2 in first and AC 4 in second
***** First off: The Templar point of view didn't show us anything we didn't already know. Second off: Even if Brotherhood didn't have a new character, Shay was my least favorite Assassin/Templar yet. He was too ignorant in everyway and didn't even deserve to be an assassin in the first place. Third off: The new perspective didn't change how the game played(huge disappointment). Fourth off: The graphics were worse than ACIII's. And finally you need to learn how to type and not instantly get angry over something you shouldn't even get angry over. (P.S. The only thing saving Rogue was the fact the voice acting wasn't garbage *cough cough Liberation cough cough* and I just so happened to like sailing in ACIV and the setting from ACIII[more or less].)
Brotherhood got an ok rating and Rogue got an average rating. Liberation was the only bad one. Shay was ignorant through and through even as a Templar which is why I hated him so much. His friends tried to be by his side when he was confused but when they saw that he had truly turned they did what they had to do. And the only thing that's the same in Brotherhood as in AC2 is the fact that Ezio was still there.
I loved it especially at the time it came out because I loved the first two games but I wasn't really fan of the combat system it wasn't bad it was really fun at times but it felt slow sometimes and didn't look as great as I wanted what saved the other games for me that made me forgive the combat were the characters and story.
I AM THE REAL Achilles is a piece of shit, and because of him Connor faced all those bad things, except his mother's dead, which was Washigton's fault.
I liked playing as Connor the best of any Assassin in terms of fighting style and overall look, but Haythem Kenway is probably the best character they've ever had in a game. That guy is 100% legit bad ass. I'd love a game just about him. Connor is just written poorly and it's too bad because he could have been really interesting. He has his moments but mostly comes off as a jackass. I'd like to see another game with him as an older man, like Ezio in Revelations.
@@Tontzamannam i supposed to care? never said anyone computer sucks either im running a ps4 pro are you on some sort of drugs? I swear ppl never end with this shit
rhys1003 i hope so. they brought it back a little in ac4 but they went a little over the top in some areas. in a lot of the missions i was just getting this message from ubisoft: OK WE HAVE STEALTH AGAIN! WE KNOW WE LEFT IT OUT OF THE LAST GAME BUT IT'S HERE NOW! YOU CAN BE STEALTHY! they need to get that balance back.
rhys1003 in the assassin's creed unity singleplayer commented demo, they said that there's officially going to be a stealth mode, and it looks pretty cool
people saying there was no stealth at all, didn't have their monitor on when they were playing, as there were missions that you had to stealth only, and tyranny of washington just made stealth the easiest thing ever
I can't be the only person who actually likes the Desmond stuff, it's weird but awesome at the same time, also the modern day parkour in AC:3 is amazing
Too bad Joe didn't review Assassin's Creed 4.. That was pretty good, especially the ship scenes, I know Joe loved the ship system in AC3, it's sad he didn't review AC4 which involves more on ships.
+tonertonki it would have been easy. when you're not enjoying sea battles you're doing the things making the franchise stale. basically rinse and repeat. even the devision has elements, axe man who could down you with no more than two swings has been replaced with the ( wink ) hooded bat man.
I get that we came from the Italian charm of the everlasting optimism that Ezio had, even after witnessing the dead of his brothers and father, but Conor experienced something more stressful. While Ezio lost the majority of his family throughout his life, he still had all that he could wish for. Friends, his mother and sister, and the love of a multitude of people. Conor had practically nothing after his mid twenties. He witnessed his mother burning alive, and gave it his all to save her but failed. He later realizes that his close comrade George Washington executed the order to burn his village. He then afterwards has to kill his own father, which he wanted to avoid (because he still loves him as a normal son would) and he gains nothing but hatred from pretty much every resident in New York afterwards. He also loses the closest thing to a father-figure he has when his teacher Achilles dies. He lives alone after that point. And as of it wasn't bad enough, with each templar he kills, they criticize him and say that he is in the wrong making him doubt and regret his decisions. And yet people bitch about how he is "uninteresting" or "whiney" (when in fact, he occasionally complained about his dad. I believe I counted 3 separate occasions) and praise Ezio for whatever the fuck runs through his mind and how optimistic he is after witnessing his families death. On one more note, Altïar was just like Connor, hell even more uninteresting as a character in Assassin's Creed 1. And people love him? It's pretty damn retarded.
Connor's personality isnt even bad, its what you can expect from someone who lost their mother at a young age. It makes him not care much because he is scared of losing someone. Plus his expressions arent that bad, is realistic because Connor's first language is Native and not English, so you cant expect a person to be like a person born into an english family
I like the animus stuff, it's such a minor annoyance to be taken out of the animus that i don't see the reason why EVERYONE's got a finger up their BUTTS over it. It's pretty much 3% of the gameplay. 3 FUCKING PROSENT! How can so many people get annoyed by so little play-time. The animus ties all the AC games together and without it, the series would feel very random. All of a sudden you're in Rome, then you're in America and it's just like that for no reason! The Animus is a great plot-device that fits this series PERFECTLLY!
Yeah, but I mean, they are kinda...unnecessary. They could've told the whole Altair story from AC1 and Revelations if they took out the Animus. Now, it makes sense to have it there, but I feel as if they could've done more...
I think its overall a nice game, but the problem is that i personally never got that real AC feeling from the previous ones. Maybe because of the Age the game takes place, I dont know. But i feel like AC fits best with medieval settings.
Brandon Selke AC 2 wasnt boring, it was awesome. :) Dont get me wrong, I am a huge fan, but AC 3 and Revelations, I think they are the weakest of them all, still not bad games.
***** Oddly enough, though, he gets just as much hate as love from the fanbase. (Rather like Connor and AC3, he's one of the most successful of the set, but also one of the most hated). Tim gets called whiny a lot, even though he really wasn't, I've heard lots of people complain that Tim is unlikable because of how much he complains and how dull a personality he has. He doesn't complain much, he simply has a sad story, and is a really depressing character, and lots of people are unable to like characters who make them sad. Tim and Connor are both less talkative determinators compared to others in their sets, and lots of people find them boring and accuse them both of having no personality because they aren't quippy and playful like the more popular ones. In both cases, it's more a critical minority that is the source of all the hate, but a loud one. Did you know Assassin's Creed 3 is the best selling in the series, and broke sales records in England? ^.^
Am I the only person in the world whos favorite Ac game is this one? I just got the first 7 games recently and while I haven't gotten to play Black Flag yet, so far ac3 is my favorite. I love the story, the voice acting, the story twist about "that guy" being a Templar, the running through trees, the navel missions, using a bow and arrow, the hunting and tracking, building a community in a plot of land, the treasure hunting missions, the awesome bombs, traps, and the sweet rope you can use to leave guards hanged etc...I can't see one flaw in it honestly. Do people not like it cause of the time period? Cause there's less places to constantly run on rooftops? So weird to me.... But its cool, everyone has their preference I guess...label me the 1% who loves it.
You're not alone.. I love it even though it has frame rate issues.. Every Ubisoft games man.. It's good.. Not perfect but good. Especially Assassins creed franchise :)
why would you deny a free game, this is someone who spent full price vs no price at all, maybe for $60 its not good for some, but if the game was always free then im sure it would get infinite praise
TheWhovianBrony i totally loved assassin creed 3 as an open world game but its main campaign was bad there was just too many tailing missions and connor was dull i wish haytham was the star he was awseome and the story and ending was bad but i love the combat and open world game was an 8 rating for me but watch dogs is ubisoft best open world game by far :)
Call me crazy, but I like Connor's personality over Altair. If I had to rate the main protagonists by likeability, it'd be Ezio, Edward, Connor, then Altair. I'm not counting sister games.
I don't really like this game. Mostly i hate the people saying it is the best Assassins Creed ever but it us just not. Assassins Creed 2 will always be the best. The Atmosphere, the Setting, the Combat System everything was balanced (somehow). I just like it more..
Assassin's Creed 2 was a GREAT game (I would say AC4 is the best game, but AC2 is the best assassin's creed game, if you know what I mean), but "the combat system was balanced"?! BALANCED?! The magical counter-attack is like f*cking legendary...
Seemed you were a little hard on this game. I wasn't blinded by the loading screens, had little problem crossing rooftops and enjoyed the scenery walking on street level. The characters weren't all too funny, but they were believable, this is not a comedy after all. And yes, you will indeed get killed if you assault the entire British army head on. Only thing I didn't like is QTE's, it's a real plague in this day and age. The game looks awesome, between missions you have freedom to explore the world where there is a lot to do so I would give it 8.5.
***** um how bout his father was a templar and tried to work together. Connor's goal was to stop the templars and if he gets the key then he will leave it for desmond. His primary target wasnt to get the key.
The animus was the only thing holding AC together. When Desmond died, so did this series, Black Flag is just a good pirate game, not an AC. This comes from a assassin's creed fan, every fan i have ever listened to is also agreeing on that...After brotherhood.....daed
Jacko Ludvich how? I do get people have different opinions, but the animus was the shape of the whole story. The honor for the brotherhood, the deaths, the mysteries all was shaped because we could somehow grant the idea of this happening if there was a witness, and this witness was Desmond, even though you played Altair or Ezio, it still felt like Desmond was the main protagonist, the home base, sanctuary. But honestly would like to hear your opinion on why the animus was so bad?
All the assassins have been memorable in some way, Altair was badass, Ezio sly af, Connor was badass in a tribal way, Edward's transition was relatable, Urno was a mix of all the past, (can't believe I fucking forgot the rouge assassin's name) the rouge guy was just probably the most heroic, like batman, and evie and (FUCK ME)her brother were cunning. Almost forgot aveline, who was also badass.
Flying Dutchman You'd be surprised by how many people like Altair. I didn't like the first Assassin's creed because of his lack of personality and the boring repetitive assassination missions.
Random Gamer I liked the actuall assassinations, you had to actually be sneaky and you could use the gathered info to plan the best way in, but the small missions leading up to the actuall assassinations were repetitive as fuck
I would actually argue that Altair DID have personality but it was damn unpleasant. He struck me as being a know-it-all who needed a lot of smacking down before he got the hint that maybe he missed something important.
It would be cool no doubt. But Egypt was referenced in a letter in AC4 (with a small sketch of the egyptian assassin) plus they said in an interview they're interested in doing a game set in egypt. So that MIGHT be where it's headed!
As much as I love AC III, IV, and Rogue the biggest problem that I have have with the game is how the characters seem to stick to everything around them and run up objects that you don't want them too. Half of my playthrough's of these games are me yelling Dangit Connor! Get Your Hands Off The Wall! No Means No! or How Did You Miss That Tree Branch!? You Jumped On The Others Just Fine! This game helped me to understand how my parents feel when I don't live up to my potential and I didn't expect a game like Assassins Creed could do that to a man.
AC3 was an awesome game...Connor was nominated at VGA, Haytham's voice actor Adrian Hough was BAFTA nominated. He had a brand new engine, rope darts are awesome, so much variety comparing to ACR. Best AC game, and I don't care if I get hate comments.
i dont think AC3 can be the best AC-game, since Black Flag does everything that AC does, just bigger and (in my opinion) better... Only if you hate the Pirate setting there would be a possibility to rate AC3 over AC4. So tell me, why would you say AC3 is better than 4? I am geniunly interested :)
E GC it has a more imersive tlempar vs assassins conflict witch sells the franchise to me. It proves that unlike other games theres no good and bad caracthers. They both want peace just using diferent methods. (the templar want to be like gods and control everyone to make sure they dont fight witch other and assassins want peace throught freedom)- None of them is possible so that is the explicanation why theyre fight nevers ends. Maybe its because of my beleives, but the conflit of assassins and templars makes the choice for me (its just better explained in ac3 than other any ac before or after- till ac4)
Connor is very much like Aiden Pierce, they both have absolutely nothing to be happy about and yet people criticize them for not being happy all the time
AC I: 8/10 Altair has become a memorable Assassin by the later generations because of his actions. AC II: 9/10 Unique story line and a very perfect place and era to start a new AC game. AC II Brotherhood: 8/10 Ezio was at its prime and you are going to liberate Rome and Strengthen the Italian Assassin Order. AC II Revelations: 8/10 I had a nostalgic moment because it has a twist related to AC I and it answers the questions about what happened to Altair after his game ended. AC III: 8/10 Its story was almost the same to Ezio, about revenge, also has a sense of value for his people and to his country. AC IV: 9/10 One of the widest Free Roam Mode in the series, it tells you why some people wanted or needed to become pirates. Also, it has a wide maritime concept about it, but didn't focus too much as an Assassin. AV Rogue: 9/10 Although it has a combination of AC III and AC IV, it has the greatest plot twist of the series. AC Unity: 9/10 Perfect fit for the era and also has the perfect concept for its title. Although it has some bugs, it was awesome. My opinion Guys! If I will be one of the developers or creators of Assassin's Creed, I will make a NEW AC game where Connor and Arno will meet together and their main enemy would be Shay Cormac who has already become a Templar Grandmaster. There, one of the greatest fights and plot will be made in there. SORRY GUYS FOR A VERY LONG POST, BUT I HOPED THIS HELPED YOU IN RATING YOUR OWN AC GAME SERIES. THANKS A LOT ANGRY ANGRY JOE FOR THIS VIDEO! Even though I found this video very late, but still it was great!
Get in line...as my ex-student told me when he introduced me to the series, "Brotherhood" was really the high water mark before IV rolled around (or so I'm given to understand from reports I've heard on IV).
I see your points Joe and I respect your opinion. It nice to see another's point of view on Assassin's Creed 3, in my opinion AC3 is the best AC game in the franchise. I think it's cause like you said the time period is amazing and the Navel combat is AMAZING. I enjoyed Connors charecter and the side missions so I think that's why it my favorite. Thanks again for your view on the Game!
Even angry joe doesnt understand connor's character, he isnt bland and dull he's just different from Ezio; who we had for three games. AC3 is a misunderstood game, well outside of killed Desmond. I hated that part.
I agree and I was one of those people who like the setting but didn’t like the game as much after since I stopped playing AC practically after this one. I just recently replayed almost all of them and this game was actually pretty fun at times. I think the one thing this game just doesn’t do is teach you the new mechanics and systems. It kinda just throws you in and like Joe here, he sorta got lost in the crafting and how that worked. Which I did also when I first played. I really missed out on this series after playing AC4 this year for the first time and jumping back into it cuz origins too is even really fun at times.
You should review Black Flag, I think it's the best AC yet! I like it even more than I liked AC2! The game is interesting from the very beginning and stays so till the end. Imo Black Flag deserves at least a 9.
And that's why you don't review games.. Joe does.. no it doesn't.. it's a 7/10, an 8/10 at best. The story and main missions are really unimaginative, repetitive and boring follow this guy, eavesdrop on that guy.. side missions the same.. in comparison with other games, like Red Dead and GTA 5, which were deserving of a 9 or a 10, where every side missions and main mission was unique, well-written.. this game is not up to par. The only thing that really makes the game a good game is the pirating.. but it's not even an Assassin's game.. it's a pirate game.. and they could've made it much better, if they had the time, but Ubisoft has to push these things out every year.
Daniel Cofour ok... I like the naval gameplay and the huge open world.. Why would you call me 'mental' for liking this game, it's my OPINION. I tried to make this especially clear for people like you by saying both 'I think' and 'Imo', I guess you'll never get it though :)
Poekie not for liking it (I like it too, it's okay I guess, and better than AC3), but for saying that somehow it's better than AC2, you can have your opinion, but I can have my opinion that you are dead wrong.. and it doesn't even compare, not to AC2, and not to other open-world games that have been released this year like GTA V.
What’s with assassin creed fans wanting assassins to charismatic and stuff I mean these guys have everything they love get taken away I don’t think they will have a sense of humor after
Xenomorph Prowler But still a monotone person like Connor isn’t something I want but Arno was very realistic and yet people don’t like him!!?! It makes no sense ……………
Xenomorph Prowler Yeah but I don’t honestly want them to be like those people in the internet in 2005 It’s not right for an assassin mainly but when they aren’t assassins yet it’s ok
Ezio literally saw more than half of his family die. He migrated from his home city to the Villa in which he never had done before, he experienced his mothers trauma induced lack of feelings or heart. He had to carry his own brothers so they could be put to rest peacefully. Despite all this, he learnt and matured as a character. He became a wise, mature and honest man, with a wit to match. Connor is one of the worst assassins because he did go through Trauma, but so did Ezio, yet Ezio still found a wit and good bone in his body so that he could mature, moving on in his life. Connor went into AC3 as a boy, and came out as a boy. Whereas Ezio was originally fueled by revenge and anger, at the end of AC2 he was fueled by a want to help the Brotherhood and start it. Connor does not change, his entire story is based on killing Charles Lee (spoilers) and even when he finds out that’s it actually George Washington’s fault his village was burnt down, he still doesn’t care and still targets Charles Lee, that doesn’t change his mind. It’s a huge amount of words, TLDR is Connor didn’t change his attitude at all beginning to end, while someone like Ezio under similar circumstances did in *one* game.
I actually made a mistake in the original posting. What's actually true is, in Assassin's Creed every key character you assassinate was a real person, and the date and location of their death is accurate. When the game takes place, the cause of death might not be particularly correct. Yet, a research proves that the victims killed by Ezio or Altair correspond with historical records.
Everyone likes Desmond, I liked all of the characters you just listed, except Connor. I'm also guessing that you're the kind of person that only cares about the ancestors and killing people, and not the in depth story of the Assassin's Creed series. There would be no better way of reliving the lives of the ancestors than through Desmond.
Alot of people happen to like on of the main protagonists of Assassin's Creed, funnily enough. Also, give me one reason that shows he is a bland character.
Ultron the Destroyer But the game is pretty old and instead of making shitty assassin's creed clones they could make their good assassi's creed games enjoyable again with new mechanics , new graphics , better gameplay etc ...
JediJackalope Well if they ever do that, i wont get them but i wont bash on others if they do. I love the 7th gen more, its about actual gaming and you can actually play mulitiplayer without internet. I mainly only got the next gen for new assassin's creed games because im a die hard fan
Now when I look at Assassins Creed IV then Assassins Creed III, III was fun, but IV has more to it. I felt more involved and had a bond with my crew, more than the people I did missions for in III. Even the crafting System in both were fun. You had to work to get the items, until I figured out you can buy the pelts and bones for crafting at a General store.
the only thing i hated about AC4 was the fucking abstergo missions, i just felt like i was being pulled out of all the fun to fucking hack some shit and walking around the office
It's f**king awesome. Even if you're not an AC fan, you will most probably like it, and most importantly, even if you haven't played any of the previous AC games, you don't have to in order to understand the story of this one.
Spike6Pixel meh.. it's okay.. if you want a pirate game, it's good.. but.. a lot of parts of the game are boring and repetitive, but the pirating is really cool.
Spike6Pixel Its basically a pirate game rather than a assassin game. If you wanted diving, naval battles, sailing, treasure hunts and many other pirate stuffs in a game, then this game is for you.
Spike6Pixel its ok. they take out a LOT of stuff but add stuff in too. its not reallly a sneaky assassin game since u have a pirate ship and stuff but its atie for me
I disagree with him saying that desmond is constantly removed from the animus cause it just 3 times to collect the power source and playing as desmond is actually fun
I think most people hate Connor because he's not like Ezio. Connor doesn't joke around or show his emotions as freely as Ezio. I don't understand something though. Why compare them? They're two different people from two different times. Yes, they've both seen a lot of shit, but different people take shitty experiences and handle them different ways. That's what makes them feel so real. I personally love both Connor and Ezio. I love Ezio's humorous nature, but Connor's serious and caring one doesn't make him dull. In fact, in a lot of side mission, especially Homestead ones, Connor says a lot of humorous things. He makes sure that the people he cares about know just how much he cares. I don't mean to rant, I just hate it when people hate on Connor because they expected another humorous, lighthearted character and instead got a serious, yet caring one instead.
yes AC4 is a huge improvement over this. The hunting is now like the hunting from Farcry3, and the tree parkour is smoother and it has a point to it. and the ship battles/exploration, you r in for a hell of an experience

Eh, Black Flag is possibly the last "good" Assassins Creed game in the series, and it was more about being a pirate than an assassin, which is kinda sad.
lorenzo romano I liked rogue the best

Ezio saw his father and brothers hung and was very fun and cool
Xavier SantaMaria Because ezio witnessed all of that when he was 20+ yrs. Connor witnessed it when he was 7yrs old. 7YRS OLD!!!! HIS CHILDHOOD WAS ALREADY FCKED UP. Unlike ezio who has still a sister and an uncle, connor has basically no one and the only person who cared for him was also killed by HIM.
Xavier SantaMaria I dunno about you but I played homestead missions and I swear I saw connor smiled and cracks a joke once in a while.
So i guess that allows the developers make him boring

Everyone wanted a new assassin after revelations. Ubisoft gives them Connor and they want ezio again.
Yup.
The only thing I disliked about Connor is his accent. Why does he sound like English is his native language?
Pain FuLL I said the 'only thing I disliked'. I never said thats the reason Connor gets hate.

Sooo, you're the reason Assassin's Creed 4 was created. Thanks a lot.
No. They started developing Assassin's Creed 4 in 2011. So everything was planned before Assassin's Creed III was even released.
A lot of manpower should also equal a lot of work.
Zeniithe They can't make a game as big and complex as Assassin's Creed 4 within a year.

Am I the only one who liked having Desmond in the game? Feel like the story just started going down hill after they killed him off
Christallize Gaming yup
I was so excited for the future timeline after the second game, but the third game fucked up it so bad. Every game after that isn't even trying anymore with the future timeline.
Well yeah I mean after Desmond there wasn't really a story anymore. Which is fine and could work I mean we don't really need an excuse to go through a bad ass story in historical times, but they keep trying to tie it to the present.
Christallize Gaming
Same
Not really AC4 was a masterpiece without Desmond doe
She died like that irl, so it wasnt a bad development mistake :)
NolanStrange I know, I looked into it after I was done with the game. Still, made the ending sad for me, she could have died after the events of AC IV :/
ACIV was sooooo long.
I dont know i personally love all the Assassins with My favorite being Ezio. I dont Get how anyone can dislike any of them!
Yeah Ezio had to watch 3 of his family members die, Connor seeing his mother die is a moot point. Connor never so much as smirked, he wasn't believable at all.
Connor is the most believable and still the most badass why is anyone complaining?
I almost fell out of my chair when I heard "¡Caramba coño my eyes! ¡Carrajo!" Funny as fuck lol

Assassin's Creed more like Assassin's vlog.
my main beef with this game is how FUCKING SLOW IT IS. Connor doesn't even become an adult or an assassin until nearly halfway through the game.
Deathpool Neither did Ezio
Ezio became an assassin like 15% into the game lol.
+Isaiah Anderson LOLNO, EZIO BECAME AN ASSASSIN WAYYY Earlier.
+Deathpool I liked the pacing, but it is slow with the connor segments. Main beef was getting to the homestead, map was so long.
Isaiah Anderson Ezio still dawned the robe, and the gear, earlier then connor.
King Mob ikr we didn’t even learn about it in school and we spent years learning about the rev war lmao fuck school
King Mob Natural selection, blame nature if you want the true culprit of all human attrocities.
King Mob could not have said that better player.
What you just said was freaking awesome dood. I never knew that was how native Americans were taught. Thanks for the insight

AC Black Flag: allow me to introduce myself.
The most mind boggling thing about the ending is that Desmond's father lets it happen. Dad of the freaking year.
AGREED
I read one of the comics about the assassins killing off Adolf Hitler. Now THAT would be fun to play.
yeah I really want a game where it's around the 1st world war in Germany, parts of Russia, and parts of france. or feudal japan already.
A feudal Japan could be interesting... Perhaps, like, the influence of the Templars and the Order was brought over with the European arrival?
Alfred F. Jones There are already a book about it so no point in making a game about it too. I would love more on India or China setting.
That not a bad idea

I don't really understand why everyone hates on Connor for being too gloomy and angry. He has a damn good reason to be, anyone who played the game remembers that he saw his village burn down and watched his mother die. On top of that he found out that his father was responsible for the attack. Yeah, I'd be pretty pissed off if that happened to me.
None of that means a thing to people. He's not Ezio, so he's not good
Joe Sedgh yes, but he was Italian...

Joe just described AC4
AC1=8/10 Miss the mission construction.
AC3L=5/10 Bad everything.
AC4=9/10 Second best, this one was gorgeous and more open than ever.
ACR=6/10 A lazy slapstick copy of AC3's colonial setting and AC4's naval combat, still not as bad as AC3L.
ACU=8/10 Shut up this games was great.
Agree AC Unity is not bad, it's good, it's just buggy as hell
003 thezman no, it's not "good"...
This game isn't really that bad in my opinion, but it gets SO BORING after 30 minutes.
I loved it especially at the time it came out because I loved the first two games but I wasn't really fan of the combat system it wasn't bad it was really fun at times but it felt slow sometimes and didn't look as great as I wanted what saved the other games for me that made me forgive the combat were the characters and story.
I just wish the mentor and Connor had some chemistry, Connor always seems like a brat and the old man never really seems to be wise
I AM THE REAL Achilles is a piece of shit, and because of him Connor faced all those bad things, except his mother's dead, which was Washigton's fault.
Which means it’s bad
Although Connor wasn't too strong of a character, I admired his goals.
I like Desmond,my favorite part of Revelations was the Desmond first person puzzle missions with voiceovers.

I can't be the only person who actually likes the Desmond stuff, it's weird but awesome at the same time, also the modern day parkour in AC:3 is amazing
Badusername2000 another Desmond fan I see you!
I always looked forward to the desmond parts
Badusername2000 I love Desmond too and I wish that Desmond would return
I hate those missions
MIKE2111ful why?
"My name is Amigo Toyota"

A feel like AC4 was just a fully better version of this
For me Evie and Fry are the best :)
+fartmagizewarth bro what lmao. Ig Altair and Ezio didn't exist huh ?
That's what I kinda thought, like AC3 was a test prototype for AC4's gameplay. But hey AC4 was awesome so that's not too bad.
To me, ironically, things like naval missions were way better in Ac3 than Ac4. They went too much into arcade mechanics and repetition if you ask me.
AC4 was arguably the best in the series.
My friend got an 100 on his test because he played this game.
As in colonial revolution test
Same its not that accurate but if u know your stuff here snd their its actually not a badway to study
I'm Aussie and I know a lot more about us history from this game haha
Bullshit
X Doubt
Too bad Joe didn't review Assassin's Creed 4.. That was pretty good, especially the ship scenes, I know Joe loved the ship system in AC3, it's sad he didn't review AC4 which involves more on ships.
yeah
+Coinbox “Hero101” MAC heyyeuwgs whatsbup guys MY NAME IS ETHAN BRADBERRY...!!!!!

+tonertonki it would have been easy. when you're not enjoying sea battles you're doing the things making the franchise stale. basically rinse and repeat. even the devision has elements, axe man who could down you with no more than two swings has been replaced with the ( wink ) hooded bat man.
Amigo Toyota. Oh god that joke killed me 3 years ago and it killed me now.
How about now
I get that we came from the Italian charm of the everlasting optimism that Ezio had, even after witnessing the dead of his brothers and father, but Conor experienced something more stressful.
Thank you!!
MASTER INSATIABLE I know it’s been a year but I 100 percent agree.
BLABLAHBLAH 😑
Adib Farhan great rebuttal.
@@adibfarhan6320People like you are the reason AC became shit
Connor's personality isnt even bad, its what you can expect from someone who lost their mother at a young age. It makes him not care much because he is scared of losing someone. Plus his expressions arent that bad, is realistic because Connor's first language is Native and not English, so you cant expect a person to be like a person born into an english family
Ezio watched his whole family and the love of his life die, and his personality is still so much full of life. Connor is wooden
The desmond missions are actually fun
elias shammas Nothing CLOSE to best, but they can be good sometimes.
Yeah, but I mean, they are kinda...unnecessary. They could've told the whole Altair story from AC1 and Revelations if they took out the Animus. Now, it makes sense to have it there, but I feel as if they could've done more...
Christ, am I the only one here who actually enjoyed AC3?
I finished it today and loved it
I think its overall a nice game, but the problem is that i personally never got that real AC feeling from the previous ones. Maybe because of the Age the game takes place, I dont know. But i feel like AC fits best with medieval settings.
I did
My favourite ac, and i played it all
Brandon Selke AC 2 wasnt boring, it was awesome. :) Dont get me wrong, I am a huge fan, but AC 3 and Revelations, I think they are the weakest of them all, still not bad games.
Who came back here after AC3: Remastered released?
@Systemic Racism the remaster, which is for PS4, made you dust off your PS3?
@@theillustriousblueja lol
Awkward...
@@theillustriousblueja I don't blame clitoris I would do the same thing
I thought Connor was an alright character. He may not be humorous, but he did have emotion. He is definitely the most relatable Assassin to date.
I agree too. I don't know why so many people hate him.
Rick Wilosn
I think it's similar to why Tim Drake is an unpopular Robin, people don't like characters who make them sad.
Alforbia Really how? Tim Drake was a fan favorite Robin after Dick Grayson.
*****
Oddly enough, though, he gets just as much hate as love from the fanbase.
*****
But...he doesn't...at all.
assassins Creed in feudal Japan should be made.........and the main character is a ninja assassin
Or or ninja vs assasin
Whaaaaaaat
It should be a templar.
A new Tenchu is coming
Too be honest I don't think we need this with Ghost Of Tsushima coming
Ghost of tsushima is coming
Your not alone
RANDOMASIANGUY1 Yes!! Great to hear!
Sam Garcia dude. you should see my reply to this dip shit. i let him have it bad. id do anything to shut this guy up for good.
k
You're not alone.. I love it even though it has frame rate issues.. Every Ubisoft games man.. It's good.. Not perfect but good. Especially Assassins creed franchise :)
Am I the only one around here to check this video out before I get the free ACIII game on Uplay?
Vaas Montenegro After I got the free game
why would you deny a free game, this is someone who spent full price vs no price at all, maybe for $60 its not good for some, but if the game was always free then im sure it would get infinite praise
Some people still have monthly GB limit on their internet. My gf had a shitty wireless with 10GB limit lol
Vaas Montenegro nope saw this after i bought and playd the game and this is very accuret
In my opinion, I didn't like this game and I am a huge AC fan.
xjakekyrianx Yeah. Definitely. I was expecting so much, and it delivered so little.
xjakekyrianx Same here. Ubisoft normally execute games well!
***** Yes. I agree.
Gamers4life I've yet to play Watch_Dogs. I've heard mixed thoughts about it.
Call me crazy, but I like Connor's personality over Altair. If I had to rate the main protagonists by likeability, it'd be Ezio, Edward, Connor, then Altair. I'm not counting sister games.
Angry Joe hasn't done a review of AC4 yet has he? Probably a tad' late now...
Nope, but he praises it in his video "Most disappointing games of 2014" when he references ACUnity.
Baroque Chevalier Noir It is also in the "Best games of 2013" as the 2nd best game

I don't really like this game. Mostly i hate the people saying it is the best Assassins Creed ever but it us just not. Assassins Creed 2 will always be the best. The Atmosphere, the Setting, the Combat System everything was balanced (somehow). I just like it more..
*cough* AC4 *cough*
*****
It's a good pirate game, but a terrible >>>ASSASSIN
ZeroneDY I want the AC5 :[
disagree
***** lmao why do people think connor is boring? Everyone just wants a ezio reskin
***** his story is old wtf. Bland how? he was more unique the ezio
***** um how bout his father was a templar and tried to work together. Connor's goal was to stop the templars and if he gets the key then he will leave it for desmond. His primary target wasnt to get the key.
Kenway was the best character. Liked the fact he wasn't a true assassin and that he was an anti- hero
Agreed, this game really beings a lot of the main story together nicely.
Finally, someone not afraid to say how awful the Animus Idea is!
Rodrigo Ventilari ikr
The animus was the only thing holding AC together. When Desmond died, so did this series, Black Flag is just a good pirate game, not an AC.
This comes from a assassin's creed fan, every fan i have ever listened to is also agreeing on that...After brotherhood.....daed
The animus idea is fucking retarded. Worst shit in AC and I wish it never existed.
But honestly would like to hear your opinion on why the animus was so bad?
zengara11. revelations was great
All the assassins have been memorable in some way, Altair was badass, Ezio sly af, Connor was badass in a tribal way, Edward's transition was relatable, Urno was a mix of all the past, (can't believe I fucking forgot the rouge assassin's name) the rouge guy was just probably the most heroic, like batman, and evie and (FUCK ME)her brother were cunning. Almost forgot aveline, who was also badass.
Rogue guy's full name is: Shay Patrick Cormac. Totaly agree with you!
Urno.... that name made me laugh (It's Arno btw)
Baroque Chevalier Noir It was probally just a typing error xD
And shao Jun has the best looking armour.
Ian Duncan and she's damn sexy.
I like how people don't like Connor because he has no personality but everyone likes Altair even though he has as much personality as a cardboard box.
People like Altaïr? Dude Altaïr didnt even HAVE a personallity. I like neither Connor nor Altaïr cause theyre boring as fuck
Plower Ranger Thank you! This is the same way I've been defending Altair for a while now
Man...I love the AC series so much, I don't want it to end. Then again I want to know how it ends.
Yeah that's what I'm hoping! That they don't stop making AC games after the story has ended :)
how do u feel about AC5 being asian theme (preferably in Japan during the civil war (Rurouni Kenshin reference) ninjas!! xD
Worst AC game out the lot, simple.
i dont think AC3 can be the best AC-game, since Black Flag does everything that AC does, just bigger and (in my opinion) better... Only if you hate the Pirate setting there would be a possibility to rate AC3 over AC4. So tell me, why would you say AC3 is better than 4? I am geniunly interested :)
It's not the best but I hate people who under rate it :)
J Dinis You are totally wright bro ;)
Connor is very much like Aiden Pierce, they both have absolutely nothing to be happy about and yet people criticize them for not being happy all the time
It’s like people don’t actually want to pay attention to the story unless they’re bored between gameplay segments. 😂
oh man i keep gravitating back to your videos, good laugh guaranteed.
Connor is meant to be short spoken and humorless. He’s caught in a war that he doesn’t care too much for
AC I: 8/10 Altair has become a memorable Assassin by the later generations because of his actions.
"some bugs"
Really are you fuck kidding me Connor and Ezio were the same are you really
Andrie Zarate AC 2 will always be the best. I dont want to go into any detail but you should know why
Ultron the Destroyer NJ u
***** What?
I was a huge fan of AC2 and I hated what they did with AC3...
AC 2 FTW. Ezio forever!!!
I played it the first time this year and i absolutely loved it ❤
Even angry joe doesnt understand connor's character, he isnt bland and dull he's just different from Ezio; who we had for three games.
Connor may be the best master assassin to date. Hes easily the most determined to get shit done..not to mention best at fighting.
rub ber Good points all around. Still prefer Ezio, but can't argue with what you're saying.
I don't think Conner became a master mentor and assassin like Altair and Ezio.
Ok
+TheMegaUzumaki wait but Edward Kenway is Connors Grandfather. So how could it be confirmed if Connor hasn't been born yet? lol
+TheMegaUzumaki Oh ok I'm playing through black flag right now. Haven't gotten that far yet. But so far I love it. it's my second favorite behind 2.

just revisiting this video, I miss those days.
You should review Black Flag, I think it's the best AC yet!
I like it even more than I liked AC2!
The game is interesting from the very beginning and stays so till the end.
Imo Black Flag deserves at least a 9.
My one question. Is it actually about stabbing people again?
And that's why you don't review games.. Joe does.. no it doesn't.. it's a 7/10, an 8/10 at best. The story and main missions are really unimaginative, repetitive and boring follow this guy, eavesdrop on that guy.. side missions the same.. in comparison with other games, like Red Dead and GTA 5, which were deserving of a 9 or a 10, where every side missions and main mission was unique, well-written.. this game is not up to par. The only thing that really makes the game a good game is the pirating.. but it's not even an Assassin's game.. it's a pirate game.. and they could've made it much better, if they had the time, but Ubisoft has to push these things out every year.
and seriously.. the best AC yet????... what are you on about?? you mental or something?.. it doesn't even compare to AC2 or Brotherhood.
Your Italian chharacter was speaking Spanish Joe... I did not miss that "cono".
or the ''carajo''.
Actually, he started Spanish and became Italian when he killed Desmond Joe.
Skull and Bones is complete shite compared to this game
What’s with assassin creed fans wanting assassins to charismatic and stuff I mean these guys have everything they love get taken away I don’t think they will have a sense of humor after
Xenomorph Prowler But still a monotone person like Connor isn’t something I want but Arno was very realistic and yet people don’t like him!!?!
It makes no sense ……………
Xenomorph Prowler Yeah but I don’t honestly want them to be like those people in the internet in 2005
It’s not right for an assassin mainly but when they aren’t assassins yet it’s ok
Xenomorph Prowler Cmon amigo Toyota has to be the best thought
Xenomorph Prowler Agreed
One fun fact about this game is that, every key target you assassinate is accurate, so is the date and time of their death.
No, that's not correct. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
If you don't like Desmond, you don't like Assassin's Creed.
No
Nobody likes Desmond, I liked Altair, Ezio, Al-Mualim, Yusuf, every major character except Connor and Desmond
Nobody likes desmond he is so bland.
Alot of people happen to like on of the main protagonists of Assassin's Creed, funnily enough. Also, give me one reason that shows he is a bland character.
I think that Ezio and Edward are the ONLY enjoyable characters in the series.
***** Altair sucks , they need to remake ac1
I liked Altair too and Adewale
JediJackalope They dont need to remake shit, its fine how it is and you know ubisoft doesnt that shit anyways
I mainly only got the next gen for new assassin's creed games because im a die hard fan
i really like desmond they fucked up present day when they killed him off all present day after 3 is terrible
Zach Lenk
Thanks for the Spoiler
Now when I look at Assassins Creed IV then Assassins Creed III, III was fun, but IV has more to it. I felt more involved and had a bond with my crew, more than the people I did missions for in III. Even the crafting System in both were fun. You had to work to get the items, until I figured out you can buy the pelts and bones for crafting at a General store.
the only thing i hated about AC4 was the fucking abstergo missions, i just felt like i was being pulled out of all the fun to fucking hack some shit and walking around the office
legoman42100 Amen to that.
legoman42100 They need to stop that shit from happening again, specially in first person view... that really sucks!
Joe should review Black Flag, it's a thousand times better than AC3.
And also, the loading screens are black.
So Black Flag is good? I was debating whether to buy it or not.
Spike6Pixel
Its basically a pirate game rather than a assassin game. If you wanted diving, naval battles, sailing, treasure hunts and many other pirate stuffs in a game, then this game is for you.
Spike6Pixel its ok. they take out a LOT of stuff but add stuff in too. its not reallly a sneaky assassin game since u have a pirate ship and stuff but its atie for me
I'm I the only one surprised he didn't mention how buggy the game is?
I disagree with him saying that desmond is constantly removed from the animus cause it just 3 times to collect the power source and playing as desmond is actually fun
AngryJoeShow So why haven't you reviewed Black Flag yet?
It was released in October alongside a bunch of other huge releases AND he was working on his new community site
Where did he say that? Also, why couldn't he review it? It was made for both platforms.
Ok.
Oblivionwarrior345
that game was not a 9/10 it was closer to a 5or6
it was much more repeditive
Joe's hair flips are hilarious
Honestly I remember not even playing as an assassin & giving up on the game because I played for Hours & hours but not being in an Assassin Outfit.
yes AC4 is a huge improvement over this. The hunting is now like the hunting from Farcry3, and the tree parkour is smoother and it has a point to it. and the ship battles/exploration, you r in for a hell of an experience
oh yes the wild islands are so much fun to explore, it's one of those games that makes me wanna role play like a 5 year old kid! you know you're playing a great game when this happens!
