  • Jackson Close & Roger "Dogman" Saunders do battle in a mash-up of boards to find out who has the best style. Jackson rides his 10' longboard SUP, Dogman rides a 7-10. You be the judge as these two go head to head, wave for wave.

If I could I would definitely add a longSUP to my quiver, the feeling is great and when you go back on your daily board you move it with much more power. Cool vid

Both.. but Jackson on a longboard probably takes it for us at SUPboarder! We'll ask the question on www.supboardermag.com too. Great video to get paddlers thinking about it.

Longboard wins this one but that's as much to do with the rider looking more fluid and relaxed. If they had swapped boards half way through it would have been more conclusive

Austen Goldsmith The guy rips with a shorter SUP too. So you're right

The longboard SUP looks way better because of the gentle waves. On a beach break with steeper waves, the shortboard SUP will look better.

Gong Galaxy is doing SUP Long Carbon....and that must be a bullet!! The more speed you have the better always...! but also the feeling of a shortboard is nice too!

I'm still hangin out for some more Jackson & the Dogman. These guys have to be the most stylish shredders I've seen on youtube. The editing and tune selection is great as well (heavy metal not so much).

I find it hard to believe the 7'-10" is 26" wide. Looks about 30" viewing ratio of length vs width. The longboarder was a better surfer, had loose fin setup. I liked the video! it should be apples to apples comparison. Check Kai Lenny, he rides a SUP short board, he kills it! All in All it depends on how you want to surf that day.
