Love the boat. Can’t wait much more for mine I’m going crazy lol! Ordered mine March 3rd they said it will be here May 15th just a couple more weeks😬.
Keep up the content. Tight lines 🎣
Thanks for the comment. Not much longer for you. Hang in there.
Thanks for the vid. Nice job. Ordered mine Feb 9th.Was told 6 weeks like most. After 3 delays it came in this past Friday May 3rd. I'll be picking it up this coming Friday. Planning to replace the straps & fish finder right off. I'll be adding some other accesories as well.
Nice. You are gonna love it. I replaced the straps on mine also. I'm going to have to wait a little while on the depth finder. Thanks for the comment.
You got yours a lit faster than I got my heritage! I ordered in early February last year and picked up late July after an extra week or two at the local bass pro to replace the trailer plug with a 4 way and install my side scan sonar and GPS unit. The cover also didnt come in with my boat so I didnt get that until a few weeks later. I use the factory straps with no problems for a year now once I figured out they needed to be attached in one specific orientation and set the length properly. They work great but ratchet would definitely hold tighter.
Just a heads up, I saw a RUclips video of a guy that had a fuel leak on his classic and it got into his storage compartment. He sealed his with silicone to prevent from happening again. I ordered mines about a month ago. They said it would come in around late August... can't wait....keep posting please
Thanks for the comment. I think i saw that same vid. I fixed my tanks now. They don't leak anymore.
all modified v hulls will slide in a sharp turn. It's the nature of the beast. If you have power trim, trim all the way down as you turn it will help but not eliminate the problem. Also the straps that you are about to attach will start to fill with "gunk" as you launch more in muddy water or around a lot of dead hydrilla floating to the docks. I have a 2011 and did the same thing as you and regretted it by about 2015. I finally switched to a winch style and stored them with my motor toter (which I changed by the way). The one that came with the boat went bad with the rubber where it cradles the motor foot. I spent the 50 bucks to get a really nice one from the dealer. Finally, the front strap has been a real thorn in my side with the safety strap too. If you figure out something better, let me know. I am on my 3rd tracker and I hated the hookup in 1984 and 1995. Thanks for the video and the preview of your new boat ! Enjoy
Thanks for the info very helpful. Honestly the extra safety strap on the winch im probably just gonna cut it off. It is unnecessary in my opinion. It just gets in the way and is a real pain. Out of all the boats i have owned or my father has owned we have never had the extra safety strap on one, and never had an issue. As long as you check your winch strap and replace it as needed you are good. The small clips they have on the winch hooks are a pain also. I haven't removed those yet, but i plan on it.
Tracker did a nice job bringing back the original style Bass Tracker boat. I've owned several of the older Bass Trackers and they leaked when older due to the riveted construction. It looks like the new ones are all welded. I would keep some type of safety strap or chain for the bow eye as the winch straps can break with age, I have experienced it winching the boat on the trailer.
Thanks for the comment. You are right about the old riveted boats. Glad the new ones are all welded. On the straps i have never seen one break on a boat trailer, but i will say we usually drive the boat onto the trailer instead of winch it on. I haven't removed the extra (backup) safety hook/strap from mine, but i may in the future. Main problem i have with the straps is there is a clip on the hooks that are meant to keep the hook from detaching from the boat, but it makes hooking the strap to the boat a real pain. I'm definitely going to remove those clips from the hooks. It's completely unnecessary in my opinion. Boat isn't gonna come unhooked with all the straps tightened down.
Will be next weekend before i can get some vids out on the water. Been raining off and on all weekend.
Keep these videos coming please! Show us it in the water!
Will be getting some footage this weekend.

Just got mine I love it. I added a Bimini top for my young son.
Awesome! Congrats! How hard was it to install the top? I was thinking about adding one to my boat, but unsure.
Willy's Fishing Channel only took about an hour by myself its worth every penny
please direct me to site you bought and installed top
Excellent review! New to your channel
Thanks. Glad you liked the vid
Hey man thanks for the video. I ordered mine about a month ago still waiting patiently lol. Can you make a video of you fishing and walking around the boat I would love to see the stability of it thanks man
Thanks. Im gonna try and get some footage out on the water.
Hey perhaps you can help .. I have been getting conflicting information.
Will you check your propeller and see if there is a little play back and forth ?
I hear this is normal and I also hear the is not normal..
I called Tracker boat headquarters today it does have wiring for the front depth finder under the front panel, they said all Tracker mod Vs have that
Thanks for the info.
Yes thank you so much 👌
No Problem
Can you give me a measurement of the size between the two front seats 👍🏼 I want to buy a cooler to fit there and use it on my other boat while I’m waiting for my classic . Thanks Willy
Just measure it for ya. There is 15 inches between the two seats. Hope that helps.
I have the 2018 heritage, those clips on the winch hook break off easily, and the air in lines of aerator will cause it not to work. And it’s a 10 hour breakin period, you might want to check the manual. My carpet in mine was poorly installed the 2019s I hope look better
Thanks for the info. So far the carpet on mine looks really good, but time will tell. I just looked in the manual you are correct about the 10hour break in period. I was told by the mechanic at bass pro that there was a 3hr break in period. I'm currently at 7hrs on my motor so hopefully i don't have any issues with it. So far it has ran great.
I actually have done the break-in by the book on my Heritage, and only the first 3 hours are really special. Hours 4-10 if I recall correctly is just to not run full throttle more than a minute or two at a time and keep varying between 75-100% The first hour was pretty specific but we just took a cruise around a big lake to break in the motor and didnt even bring fishing gear. I'm still not at 10 hours on mine yet because I most often take it to a lake you can drive all the way across in 10 minutes. I got a sort of similar spiel from the bass pro mechanic that did my delivery though. Told me something pretty different from the manual, but I followed what the manual said. Also no issues with the carpet or either pump on mine so far.
Finally a good review! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thanks
If you pull the front panel, is it already wired for a front depth finder like the 2018 model
Thanks for the comment. I'm assuming you mean in the bow of the boat? If so im not sure.
Willy's Fishing Channel yes the 2018 model, if you pull that panel that your trolling motor plug is mounted, they were already wired for a front depth finder
@@donaldcook9810 Not sure, but hopefully it does
Great video would love to see a video of exactly what you did on the gas tank to make it breath right . I’ll be adding another tank to my classic when i get it . Ordered it April 5 and they said 6 weeks so time will tell . Seems that everyone gets different time frames .
I have already removed the rubber plugs/flapper valve that was inserted inside the gas cap itself. Once you get your boat or spare tank remove the cap and you will see a small red rubber plug in the center of the cap. Just take a pair of needle nose pliers and insert down over the rubber plug and squeeze the pliers and it pulls right out. Once you remove this plug the gas can will vent normal and not push gas out into your boat. I may make a video review of the gas tank itself, but i have already removed the plugs on mine so i wont be able to show how to do that. There is nothing to it though. Very easy to do. Hope this info helps. Thanks
Thanks
Where did you order yours? Thanks
I ordered mine here In Washington at a cabelas Where abouts are you ???
@@miker7977 Boat was purchased from Bass Pro in Savannah GA
Hi, thank you for the video. I have ordered one but it will not be available for pick up till the end of July... It is very nice to see Classic model video. How long have you had to wait for your boat?
Hey that's a bummer that you have to wait that long. My boat was ordered from Bass Pro on February 22nd, and i picked it up on April 20th. Sounds like i ordered mine at a good time. Thanks for the comment.
@@willysfishingchannel1001 Yeah, i ordered mine April 1 and they're telling me mine's not going to be ready til August. Ugh.....
@@Loochy808 August? Wow. Hang in there. Hopefully your wait will go by fast.
Find a way to test the speed , kinda wondering top speed of it with two people and gear on boat , and also wondering how good the troll motor is that comes on it
I go over the trolling motor in the video. It has enough power for the boat, but if you will be using it somewhere with strong current you may want to upgrade it. Top speed is 38-40 with two people in it. Thanks for the comment.
Willy's Fishing Channel thanks for replying to the comment , great vid, post some more vids fishing or just taking it out👍🏼
Just came across this video how is the boat treating you if you still have I’m looking to get me a new tracker soon is why I’ve been diving in the you tube videos anyways good boat there you have
Thanks for the comment. I still have the boat. Unfortunately it does more sitting in my yard than anything. Motor has been solid, and only issue i have had is the carpet in a few places feels like the adhesive has come loose so the carpet feels a little squishy. Im sure that is mostly my fault since it sits out uncovered (other than the cockpit area). The aerator seems to have a mind of it's own. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, not sure why. All in all im still happy with the boat and it has been good to me so far.
@@willysfishingchannel1001 years back I had a nice stratos boat it killed me sitting all the time so I got ride of it but I’m looking to get another boat now a nice tracker or aluminum boat of some name I hope it don’t sit round like my last boat I hope you get the time to start getting your boat back in the water
@@whiterhinooutdoors4572 Thank you.
Your probably running 35 ish,
I've notice when corning at 3/4+ throttle if I trim the motor in it bites better and turns, then i trim it back out after I get. Almost out the corner.
Thanks for the info. Definitely helps when corning. We maintained 34 with 3 adults in the boat. Peaked at 37 for a short time. Not sure exactly where it is at with only 2 adults. My guess would be 36-38
Holy crap! Are you going across Superior with those tanks? I take mine out 20 miles every weekend and have gallons of gas left.
Where i live at there isn't a lot of accessible boat ramps, and there is a few places that in order to get to the closest boat ramp is about a 40 minute run one way. Last time i took it out i was completely out of gas in one tank in 2 1/2 hours of run time. Most people aren't gonna need a second tank, but in my case it is needed depending on where i go. Plus i want the gas to stay fresh and cycled out. I don't like to continuously keep adding new fuel into a tank with old gas.
@@willysfishingchannel1001 wow! I used to think about a spare 6, then a spare 1, and then not at all. But that's a great idea. Few situations in life that make absolute sense when you want to have it and not need it than need it and not have it other than gas. Can't wait to see what you do next. 👍
@@csmbright4858 Thanks. Honestly most of the time i don't need that 2nd tank other than keeping the gas cycled. Most of the places we fish at aren't too far away from the boat ramp.
Iam picking mine up Friday morning the waiting is the hardest part
Congrats. The wait is almost over.
Update on my order just talked to tracker today and they told me that I will be looking at end of September 😤 so much for six weeks . So basicaly I’m on a 7 month wait from when I orded it so now woundering is it realy worth the wait seeing summer will be gone 🤷🏻♂️
Wow. That sucks. That is a really long time to wait. Sorry to hear that. It might not be a bad idea to shop around.
Well I found a 2014 tracker pro team 175 TXW one owner boat so I ended up canceling my classic order so no waiting tell the end of September. Been out in it once already and really happy with it . Keep up the videos they are great .
@@motoman3290 Congrats. That is a nice boat. I don't blame ya one bit. That is a really long time to wait. Thanks for the support on the channel.
It took almost 5 months to the day to get my Heritage last year. They told me 6 week minimum when I ordered but they were pretty honest with me at my local bass pro and said they were selling like hot cakes and the factory was backlogged so it would probably be a few months. It ended up taking even longer than that, but I ordered in early February so I still ended up getting it mid July with plenty of warm weather left in the year.
couple years down the road now how do you like it?
For the price it's hard to beat. Honestly I haven't gotten to use it very much. No major problems with it so far. Motor runs great, and the 50HP is just right for this boat in my opinion. Only issue I have had is the aerator for the livewell doesn't work properly. Sometimes when I switch it on you can hear the pump working, but there isn't any water flowing into the livewell. Then 20mins later I try switching it on again and it's working correctly. I have ran water through it from both ends and there is a constant flow so I know it's not clogged. Not sure what's the problem. If I had it to do over again I probably wouldn't have bought it. Not because of anything wrong with this boat, but I want something bigger that has higher sides and more room. Also I haven't really used it very much at all, and the interest rate is a rip off in my case. Boat itself and price was great, but it doesn't suit me. Im probably going to try and sell it next year.
@@willysfishingchannel1001 I am waiting on my 2021 classic xl in black I’m really excited I really hope that I like it . It will be the First boat I’ve ever owned . I have a 7 & 8 year old that are excited to get on the water and fish . Just hope it’s big enough
@@tbrown737 That's great. I really like the new ones with the red or black color options. For you and your son it will be great. I have had 3 adults on mine and it was fine. Prefect size for 2 people though.
Let’s see some ‘on the water footage’ !! Should have mine in a month!!
Will see what i can do about getting some footage. One month? Not too much longer for you.
@John Flowers I'm right there with you about a month to go 👊
moto man couldn’t come sooner! First boat for me. Learning as I go. (And youtube)
John Flowers just checking in to see if you have gotten your boat yet ??
moto man I did. We got it in early June.
Triming down in curves helps with turnig.
Thanks
@@willysfishingchannel1001 yes sir no problem
What's the mpg?
Top Speed?
Didn't have a way to track it. I do now though. I will have that information Sunday, but it's definitely in the 40's.
Was going 35MPH with 3 adults. Should get 38-40 with 2 adults
why dont it have a speed gage
You won't need a second tank at all. I've used my boat for two weekends and haven't even used 1/2 a tank.
Ok thanks for the info. I have only got to take it out once, so still trying to get a idea on how much fuel it uses. Going again this weekend though. There is a few spots i will be taking the boat that is a good 25-30 min run one way so im gonna have the second tank just in case. Main reason though for having 2 tanks is to keep from constantly topping off old fuel left in one tank. Thanks for the comment.
Bad gasoline in tank and your screwed. At a minimum you can get a 3 gallon backup...just saying
Do you all not have access to non ethanol fuel ?? It’s all I run in all my outboards and motorcycles ???
By bad gas I mean trash, water, etc. Even a bad connection on tank will make you wish you had another tank.
@@motoman3290 Yes. That's all im gonna use in it.
That’s a lot of weight on the back isn’t it
Are you talking about having the motor with two full tanks? If so it hasn't been a problem at all.
If I were you I wouldn't let the fuel pump suck the tanks dry. A worker at bass pro said it would burn up the fuel pumps in these motors.
Thanks for the info. I will keep that in mind. The plan is to switch the tanks over just before all the fuel is ran out of one.
When the warranty runs out on the motor, pull the restrictor plate out of the carb and u have a free upgrade to basically a 60hp
I will have to look into that later on. Thanks for the info.
@@willysfishingchannel1001 I think you need to upgrade the ECU to do this right. Probably several hundred dollars for the new ECU.
It doesnt have a carb, its fuel injected
