While Geddy has among the most unique voices in all of music, and its not for everyone, it’s ALWAYS BEEN FOR ME! And that vocal right there? That’s about as good as a Geddy cover as I’ve ever heard. NICE JOB!!!! Band is fire too. Can’t leave you out either. That was a really nice Rush cover!
I thought the same thing - he sounds like prime Geddy - not that I'm knocking Geddy for sure, he aged far better than I did thats for sure and I can't sing so LOL These guys are incredible
I just found you guys yesterday and I'm in awe. Been a Rush fan since the 70s and can't describe how great it is to see young people like you appreciating Rush and playing with such passion and accuracy. Can't wait for the next video. Thank you guys!
Finally! cover of this classic with the vocal dynamic! Every other cover I have seen, the vocals just did not have the heart or feel of the original. Not bashing those folks by any means as it takes major cojones to pull off covers of Rush. Hats off to you all for this one and not to sell short, but the vocalist! My Lord!!! Great job folks!
Super, you guys kill it! Really, that guitar sole was note for note from Alex's tutorial! I hope to learn it when I get my ES355 in, even though I know its meant for a different guitar.
Heavily impressed💪greetings from Germany. High level. Top. The drumming was awesome obtaining same professionality with a drumming gear reduced to a minimum. The whole band nailed it. It was your RUSH hour in a premiun format. Regards Rudi
I agree! Somebody get that guy a bigger drum set!!! He does a great job, but there are some fills missing, for sure. I used to play this song on the bass with my brother, who was the drummer, with a double bass set of Tama's, so yeah,. But still, you guys are great. For sure, go on tour for a few dates, I'm down in the Boston New England area, I'll give you some advice on where to play.
when close my eyes and hear this group sound reminds me truly rush sound and voice. amazing! why more rush fans see these guys??? i dont understand?? i love these guys!
Yes there is some vocal pitch correction going on. It's (sadly?) an industry standard these days, but for what it's worth, here's a version of me singing the tune with a buddy of mine, no pitch correction ;) ruclips.net/video/Swpy4lXjY8E/видео.html
@@natesilvamusic Appreciate this inclusion - you’ve got an awesome natural voice just like the “man” so makes me feel great to hear your guys’ covers - awesome in every respect.
Awesome cover, well done all (but especially the guitarist for nailing the solo both in notes and tone...it looks (is) quite simple to get *approximately* right, but getting it to sound like Alex is *much* harder!)
Matt Hache...if I closed my eyes, I would have believed that was Alex on lead guitar...right down to the tremolo bar! And that you mixed everything together...AMAZING! Patrick on bass...blew me away...you looked like you knew you were hitting every note right on time...your constant smiling gave it away. When Geddy retires...send him some video of you so you could take the slot. Michael, I don't know why, but the 1st half of the song, your high-hat was over-powering most of your kit. Was there a mic issue? Overall, though, you played well for having less than half of the kit that Neil played on. And Nathan on vocals, great pitch...good cover of Geddy. One suggestion...I see this a lot w/ people singing covers: the enunciate too well. Sounds silly, but most lead singers in R&R bands sound like they have marbles in their mouths. Geddy never pronounces every syllable, ever letter of every word. It's why most people make the worst singers of songs of bands they love. 99% of music fans get about 60% of the words wrong in singing along w/ their favorite songs....unless you're in musical theatre. They HAVE to enunciate every syllable. But even I forgot words in the song that you pronounced, that Geddy never sang. It make me chuckle. But you all came together well considering in was all remote. Good job! But Matt...OMG!

Alex's solo is so subtle that it's hard to replicate and this guitarist nailed it.
My god 😳 I was not expecting the singer to sound like that
Same! Amazing all of them
You sound more like Geddy than Geddy does now!!! Congratulations to our brothers from the North.... Excellent!!!🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I thought the same thing - he sounds like prime Geddy - not that I'm knocking Geddy for sure, he aged far better than I did thats for sure and I can't sing so LOL These guys are incredible
The vocals are really fantastic and sit in the mix perfectly.
Muy bueno!!!....❤(BuenosAires, Argentina)
These guys need to go on tour immediately.
Vocals killed it! Instrumentals are outstanding. Rush fan since the 80's. Thank you guys!
Damn, you have a crystallic and pleasant voice man.
The singer is really brilliant!!! And the rest of the band also!!
Bro your voice sounds amazing....pains me to say it but actually better than Geddy’s.
Perfect cover of my favourite track Limelight. This band are very skilled musicians and should go on tour.

It's so good. Vocals are as perfect as it gets. The guitar solo is drool worthy. Thanks for sharing!

The best cover I heard so far from the vocals to the music. Its like the singer is singing to instrumental version. SPOT ON!!!!
Great job guys!
You guys rock hard. Drummer has his own unique style of playing and fills that sound outstanding. And his kit is like 1/9 of Neil's! Bravo!!
Got to be the best damn cover of this track I’ve heard. Awesome band, awesomer singer, guitar solo just awesomerer 😊

Seriously impressed. Hope you guys will play live when we ever get out of lockdown.
Holy s***, you sound just like Geddy!
Fantabulous, you guys Rock!
As a die hard Rush fan I must confess your vocals are clearer than Geddy's and in some places better ....oh the heresy ...Great all :)
Epic as always. And that solo guitar tone tho (y)
Awesome!
you guys nailed it
It’s a great cover, please tell me if I’m wrong but is there pitch correction on the vocals? To me it sounds like there is...
There is some light pitch correction, but there's 2 vocal doubles as well behind the main one!
I thought the same thing but still Great!

Well done!
