I have the same efile though I have retired it since I really seen the damage I did to my own nails, I want to get that hand file next week I figured if I get the lightest grade that will keep my fingernails safer

How much polish to load on brush. 2) How to paint short nails where capping free edge is not possible. 3) How to paint nails on non-dominant hand. 4) Easy to apply (good handle & brush) clear or tinted base coats or polishes that do not need base coat for simple, clean look that won’t show flaws. 5) How to clean up mistakes & polish on the skin. Types of brushes & bristles. Are art or inexpensive makeup brushes an option? 6) Intermediate polishes: easy to apply, non-streaking or self-leveling colors that do not show mistakes clearly. 7) Best quick drying products. 8) How to fix nail dings or uneven coats while applying polish. PS -I realize we can adjust playback speed. But it would also alter your narration. If not slow motion - then could you please show us up close how much to load on the brush & how to avoid flooding cuticles/sides without creating obvious margins. TY

Which tools exactly? The e-file for sure. I don’t recommend using it without a very specific training and lots of practice. I have also many videos on how to do your own nails as DIYer.

Can this look be achieved with dazzle dry?
I have used Dazzle dry base coat over the top of color and just before it’s completely dry it work well as a sticky surface for powder. Then make sure to let it completely dry 5 min. Then top coat. Works great 😊
I think the way you can do it is to apply the base coat over top coat. Rub in the powder and another top coat. I never tried putting base coat over the color coat.

Hi There. We would recommend trying to find a CND certified nail technician in your area. They will/should be trained in using CND and have all the proper equipment/lamps.

Yes, you cure the CND Shellac No Wipe Top Coat fully and then add the powder and then add the normal top coat (CND Shellac Original Top Coat)

I never watched the cnd shellac videos because I thought they required a uv light. Can a non pro use this product line?
Yes, CND Shellac requires UV lamp. It's a professional product. I don't recommend using any UV cured gels without proper training. They can be quite allergenic when not used properly.

I guess it’s possible to overdo anything. Even drinking too much water is possible. If you apply some lotion after a hand wash you should be fine :)

I wasn’t being difficult but I know there are copy brands like DND or something that have polish as well. Yes. CND Shellac is a UV cured gel polish.

Is the brand CND hypoallergenic?
I'm not sure if all the products from CND are hypoallergenic but I think so.... they are a very responsible brand. Hypoallergenic though doesn't mean that it won't cause allergy especially if someone is already allergic.
It simply means (and it is a loose term really) that it's less likely to cause allergies when used properly.

Hello there :) Cuticle has been removed. This client doesn't have pterygium (or any other abnormalities), I don't cut or abrade living skin.

How on earth are you seeing pterygium on these nails? They are beautiful and healthy. Cuticle is the skin she files off of the nail plate. The little band of skin that the nail grows from is living skin and it's not safe to cut it as it makes for a barrier against microorganisms. However, if you like your manicure different than this, just don't go to nail technicians that prefer a noninvasive technique for manicures. There are plenty of nail technicians out there who'll gladly cut away any skin you ask them to cut, just go there, problem solved.
