Best way is to put those changes in your resume exactly how you wrote it here …. You are experienced logistics coordinator and looking to switch to dispatcher as it is making you curious about the other side of operations.

I still suggest going to a bigger company because all the processes are streamlined in a very simple manner .
You learn work and time management while being productive and professional. The smaller the company the more the stress and according to me if you need a good understanding you need to start somewhere where there is less stress and more learning .
It can be looked at from many different perspectives but here’s mine as you asked for it.

You can actually post ads for new owner operators to contact you but then you need to register a company that you can book loads through and pass on those loads to your operators because the operating authorities will be under your company not your owner Ops .

Starting for a dispatcher is usually around 45 -47 depending on how you are able to negotiate the deal and what company you apply at.

I've been working as a Dispatch Supervisor in a company in Lahore. I've a very good experience of dispatch. Me is time 10 trucks nu dispatch kr rya. 3 truck cross border ne baqi 7 us based. Almost sara knowledge he mere kol means Manifest bnana, custom clear krwana,driver dispatch krna, route planning krna,load booking krna.Please advise me how can i move to USA or Canada as a Dispatcher & how much they pay.

8 days is fine but depends what he is teaching you . Also what service are they going to provide after the course is complete. Cz many people are left alone in the dark not knowing what to do after the course.

My suggestion would be to get some basic knowledge of the industry till you get your work permit . I mean you are still allowed to work but a good employer would ask for one .
Try to send out resumes to trucking companies that you are willing to start from scratch .

My suggestion to deal with drivers is to remain as natural as possible - be honest with your instructions and try to buil unique relationship with every driver .
It will definitely be a two way process and if you don't get the feedback you expect from a person you need to call him out on it so it's not repeated.
The drivers are equally important as the other people working in a company therefore respecting their boundaries and limits also helps and goes a long way. I hope this helps .

There are no specific names but companies are always looking to hire new staff and that’s where you get your training from .
If you start applying you will get calls from recruiters or HR for sure .

I think according to india it’s a decent to start wig I’m not sure what the median pay in India is . You should definitely start somewhere and see how things work. Probably ask more money for night shifts.

Ok- so the best way to get through this is to ask the factoring company to give you a list of their credible carriers that are paying back in time … which is 30 days from the day a POD is sent in.
So these factoring companies keep a better track of good companies paying on time.

Safety is a backend process of the operations but if you have been into safety it will make it more easier for you to deal with drivers in terms of their ETA to a certain destination- calculation of hours . Recap hours . Should be a fairly easy move.

There are multiple questions to keep in mind . Depends wether you applied for entry level position or a senior dispatch position.

You should own up about it . Request them to give you a chance with the company - I am not sure how they will respond but it is a bad 1st impression therefore the trust between you and the employer is broken . Asking for a chance to start from scratch is your best option . Good Luck 🙂
