Rob was gifting him the counter from over swinging way out of position, Paulo costa got broken down via jabs and leg kicks before he was finished. Adesanya does not slip and rip like a prime conor mcgregor or Ilia Topuria. He evades and circles to space where he jabs and leg kicks at range. Even against Marvin Vettori, who is slow as shit. was a hail mary bc ap wld be wise to the right hand and izzy’s playing possum and bc ap was weight-drowned down 45 ilbs to a corpse of himself, brain-drained of fluid and chinny. at middle weight izzy odds already played out: 1/4 in combat sports and 1/2 in mma (half, so not bad, but its unclear), but going forward those odds wld weaken one imagines via fair assumptions if the game were played continous rounds. “hail mary” was just to say more luck than innate striking ability bc he had to invoke the deceipt of theater rather than physical prowess to land the right hand and win

Alex was at the time used to winning against izzy, so when he thought him hurt he just went for it like he used to do,
but that one time izzy plain out took advantage of their common history and out smarted Alex
Anyone can take him out.. with one takedown ... but ufc keeps feeding him low level strikers
No idea how you only have 40k subs. I enjoy your commentary more than I liked Flucas'.
"Everyone says they're not a grappler until they get punched in the face" Mike Ankalaev
Pereira is my favourite figter currently.but he never felt unbeatable.
Izzy was having zero sussess ??? He won the first round
IKR, this guy is a casual
He lost the first round tf you talking about
He was not having much success and was loosing the round until he caught him being too agressive at the end of the 1st
This Dork always talks as if he's an expert. But none of his breakdowns happens in fight
@NewDarkKnight name one person who's breakdowns are accurate to the fights
They just signed the last guy to beat Pereira in kickboxing, and you can sure as hell bet he’s gonna be rushed to a title shot just like Pereira was against Izzy.
If ankalaev tries to strike with him he loses. I see him trying to strike then he's gonna find out that doesn't work so he will resort to wrestling and win a decision 48-47 ×3
Would LOVE to see Jones vs Pereira
9:47 DDP and his coach before the fight
Ayoooooo 9:47. That'll defeat Alex for sure
Alex may do ok against someone like Gann, who is a pure striker. If he fights Aspinal he will be taken down immediately and that will be it.
Tom and John have a good chance actually if bet 100 on either one of them and if Alex were to move down I wouldn't be surprised if dricus got a win but dont believe dricus could move up and do it
Alex definably should fight Tom its a win win if he loses doesn't change anything that he accomplished in the UFC and is one of the GOATS but if he wins he is the GOAT first triple champ! He would be crazy to not try.
I think people are looking over Rakic way too much, he’s a great striker and could put Ankalaev out, let’s not talk about Ankalaev till he gets the job done, once he’s done then Alex vs Ankalaev is inevitable.
If Tom tried to stand on the feet with Alex, he's getting knocked out. He need to go for the takedown!!!
im praying for rakic to win hes so good but cant break into the top contenders people forget he was beating jiri at first
DDP has very dangerous submission threat, if he gets Pereira down he has a pretty legit chance of finishing him, people will disagree but even at 205 I think DDP has a better chance than anyone in the division right now (outside of maybe Ankalaev).
Jones and Aspinall both beat Alex very easily in my opinion.
DDP and Ankalaev are 50/50 fights.
I think Jones vs Pereira is more likely than Jones vs Aspinall
Alex will add a Dagi to his win roster
We call it playing possum but it did work lol
Pereira and Ankalaev should fight Bautista
DDP by first round sub
DDP got turned into a literal mess by Strickland off all people. If Poatan catches that chin, DDP will evaporate 💯
@@mikemosley2948 dricus won't strike with him
@@mikemosley2948mma math doesn’t work. Last time Alex fought Izzy he went to sleep. And the last time Izzy fought DDP he tapped.
Dricus has an iron chin and he could sleep Poatan at 185.
Iron chin??? He has bin KO before in KSW
So had Jamahal before fighting Pereira
@@felipearaujo9673 Hill had never even been wobbled in the UFC and that was the big point talking point fighting Poatan but we see how that went and DDP got murdered by a 170lb Roberto Soldic ,DDP dropped like a rock 💯
DDP “might” win at 185 against a drained Poatan, but at 205 DDP would get absolutely merked and would never be the same 💯
They dont know what we know.
Aspinall vs Alex 🎉🔥🔥🔥🔥😋😋😋 the biggest fight in history 🎉❤😂
Strikland - but he need to do more wrestling and Jiri - but he also need more wresling
0:36 a 15 year old jv high school wrestler
Hahahah
yea yea
Lmaooo
Yeah, Jan was the better all around striker. If Ankalaev couldn't adjust to a low kick that a him problem. Jan gave him a takedown.
Didn't Anklaev take down Francis Ngannou though who was out to avenge one of his teammates?
"Enter the Chama-verse!"
Dricus is a good fight and Aspinall destroys him
I think people are forgetting that just like pereira was depleted from his potential at MW, so is dricus. Dude is easily 220, and clearly meticulously diets to get there.
Jacked ninja turtle at 205 is a different animal the same way 205 bionacle is.
His fight IQ and gameplanning is unreal. I dont think he respected tills finishing power as a former WW. He wouldnt fight pereira that way.
Please stop hyping up Tom Aspinall, you have already cursed Erceg 😔😔
Adesanya won the first round in the rematch though?
What about Carlos Ulberg
Only guy I think can is aspinal can
And dricus tbh
Aspinal jones almedia blaydes Waldo Cortes Acosta Ankleav and maybe ddp.
@@jujuthethird4602 yeah especially at 185
@@joeswanson5486 waldo would get knocked tf out
@@Kgopani3101 I said that one more as a joke but tbh we could see it smudge for 25 mins
Define all-around striker.
Better at striking all around
@MMAChe. Like Jan. When he all around out struck and shut down the Ankalaev game . Ankeliev got dropped by leg kicks that was not very all around striking.
@MMAChe. Bro, evrey video, you become more and more like Lucastracy. Adesanya is not known for his countering?!!!
@AutististicSchizo ya but as I got you to agree styles makes fights 🙂
@MMAChe. I agree that styles make fights. I don't agree, Ankeliev is the 2nd best striker when he got shut down by a fucking low kick.
I dont understand why ppl call KOs hail marys. Izzy's KO was not lucky or a hail mary. They don't have to fight a million more time for it to work again because that's not how fighting works. Look at the Chito Suga fight. Everyone clowned Suga for saying Chito hurt him then KO'd him.
Not an Izzy fan but I'm so against people saying ANY KO in MMA is lucky or a hail mary and would never work again. Poatan got iced, and that's that. It only has to work once and you get the dub.
was a hail mary bc ap wld be wise to the right hand and izzy’s playing possum and bc ap was weight-drowned down 45 ilbs to a corpse of himself, brain-drained of fluid and chinny. at middle weight izzy odds already played out: 1/4 in combat sports and 1/2 in mma (half, so not bad, but its unclear), but going forward those odds wld weaken one imagines via fair assumptions if the game were played continous rounds. “hail mary” was just to say more luck than innate striking ability bc he had to invoke the deceipt of theater rather than physical prowess to land the right hand and win
@@gda2106 your being disingenious. The same Alex that Izzy KOd is the same Alex that KOd strickland ans beat him the first time, you cant just say Alex was at a disadvantge when he loses but say nothing when he wins.
@@WhiteBoyTariq he was at a disadvamtage even when he won, lol. if you’re weight-drained 45ilbs you’re disadvantaged, inherently. we knw this from observing him take shots at lhw. is basic. nothing complex or disingenous brother
@@gda2106 you're still being disingenious because you only want to acknowledge the disadvantges of his weight cut. His weight cut let him be 20lbs bigger than all his opponents including Izzy, who he still got knocked out by despite being massivley bigger than him.
@@WhiteBoyTariq if you dont think 45ilb cut makes u chinny, then whtvr ya say, bud. nothin but sincerity, here. not even a hater
no light heavyweight will out strike him. there's a chance that the weight cut effects him too much, making him able to be knocked out at middleweight, but I'd still have him as a favorite vs anybody. at heavyweight, aspinall and Jones have an edge, Jones because he'll just wrestlefuck pereria
Well, actually no, Alex comes from just boxing base, he than transition into the kickboxing.
6:30 Diddy in the ufc?
His ground game needs to be tested. Jon and ank can do that. Jon would likely fight the way he did against gane.
