When someone says they "like" history it doesn't mean they like the things that happened,they like learning about them. (Forcing ideologies still happens today in a terrifying amount of places)

Also, the core of our education systems were constructed something of 150 years ago, and lots of people that love history don't take what they learn with a grain of salt.
