This was the ending I chose my first run. I honestly thought it was the best outcome. It's bitter sweet but it also meant Hibiki could protect his friends and all of humanity from the other stars. Certainly better then Ronaldos idea of "we'll fight all the stars each reset"
Man... i've been playing DeSu2 Record Breaker again, and decided to go for this ending this time, and after all the long journey, that "WHY?!" Of daichi made me cry, he knows that he's never going to see his best friend again, and maybe the worst part is that he's the only one (outside of Miyako and Yamato) of the entire group that knew and got to see it, The rest didn't even had a chance of saying goodbye. I do like more the New World Ending (The Yamato One) because everyone got to live their best lives in the end, this one is also good, but it's just so sad.
