Just plain stupidity. No understanding of soft surfaces. So used to driving on Concrete or Tarmac. And it's a rental car, who cares if it is damaged, I paid the collision damage waiver.
I think jail time and/or massive fines (as some have suggested) is probably a little bit extreme. But I would definitely be in favour of giving people who disrespect sacred landmarks a standard fine as well as attaching such behaviour to their Passports, so as to inform any other countries they visit a prior heads up, so they may refuse entry.
If there are towels on the beds at the pool side and there’s nobody with them, I WILL take them off and put them elsewhere and I WILL be using that bed myself.

The bird one is just ignorance they don't know better or understand why it's bad for the seagulls and the people the best way would be to calmly explain why it hurts the birds without them feeling like your villanizing them and they will most likely stop. The thieves however know better

In my experience, it's the Chinese who are the biggest nuisances, tramping everywhere they can. A friend of mine had her private garden invaded by a group of them, a month ago. They respect nothing.
