I used a set of gg&g 1201 surplus handgaurds. I got mine through a local dealers but check out gun deals and several sights have them for 650-750 right now.
The factory receiver extension(buffer tube) has to be removed unless you just add foam, and an SB brace that just sticks on the end. I went with the SB PDW because I already owned it and didn't have it in use- in reality I could have used the factory buffer, added the foam and the SB mini and been happy.
, bcm, geissele, radiant arms, check for “blem sales” at all companies- you’re going to scratch the finish anyway- and Blems from these companies are always just coating. These are just my top favorites- I am sure there are several more out there that are functional and work amazing. On my old colts- I use just extensions that are correct- check out Smokey mountain leather works. He makes a replica of the old diemaco for $20 that can’t be beat
Hello, Could you tell me information on what kind of handguard you put on your SAR and where you purchased it. Yours looks great!
I used a set of gg&g 1201 surplus handgaurds. I got mine through a local dealers but check out gun deals and several sights have them for 650-750 right now.
Is the handguard proprietary? Can I take off the quad rail and will any other handguard that fits mil spec work?
Just curious what brace you went with and did it fit with the stock buffer tube
The factory receiver extension(buffer tube) has to be removed unless you just add foam, and an SB brace that just sticks on the end. I went with the SB PDW because I already owned it and didn't have it in use- in reality I could have used the factory buffer, added the foam and the SB mini and been happy.
Can you recommend a good amdidextrious charging handle?
Idk if you can buy any ar style handle for that gun. I have one but I’m a lefty so I like to load on the right side of the charger.

How did you get the original flash hider off, I am having a hell of a time getting it off....
Heat... Lots of heat and wrench, not a combo tool. Crescent wrench
