Lyft is definitely more convenient and efficient. When visiting New Orleans. Plus, break-ins are big in Orleans when it comes to vehicles. Good video. I didn't know they had shuttle downtown for 24 not bad.
Very helpful. I'd advise folks to budget for a taxi or Uber from the airport UNLESS your hotel/AirBNB is right on the bus line. If you're rolling baggage -- and unfamiliar with the area -- you'll be happy that you paid for service right to the door. It sucks to be rolling your bags on those terrible sidewalks, hot and humid, piss-soaked. Been there, done that.
So much information! Great information provided in a way that is easy to understand and in a format that I can save and come back to when I’m prepping for that New Orleans visit. And I absolutely love all the travel magnets. Thanks for sharing. Stay blessed! ✌🏾🙂✌🏾
I use Uber and the RTA app, which is now "Le Pass", to get around. Never had a problem with either. Are the rules much the same when arriving by Amtrak? Thanks for posting!
@@scottsmith9201 one more thing, it is the standard fare for all the stops? Like, wherever you stop, it'll be 1.25 dollars? It doesn't increase while you're getting farther?
Hi slightly off topic, I'm travelling (solo) to the USA for the very first time in December, I'll be arriving in New Orleans on an Amtrak, how do I get downtown from the station? Thanks
The train station is actually downtown, near the World War 2 museum. You can catch the street car need by for $1.25 to the French Quarter.I recommend the street car.

Amtrak is at least in the city,so it's a little easier to get to everything
Hi! Quick question tho, do they accept cash in those buses? I am here at new orleans and I plan to look around while waiting for my start date at work
@@michaelaviloria8299 they take cash BUT you have to have exact change. It's $1.25 I think.
@@scottsmith9201 yes, it is. Okay thank you so much!

I just left New Orleans, Lyft cost me 41.92 to downtown if anyone was curious about Lyft.
Thanks,I forget about Lyft, but they are often cheaper than Uber.
