    I enjoyed the information behind the name of the airport. I would just probably take the taxi. Look at your collection of magnets.

    Lyft is definitely more convenient and efficient. When visiting New Orleans.
    Plus, break-ins are big in Orleans when it comes to vehicles.
    Good video. I didn't know they had shuttle downtown for 24 not bad.

    Very helpful. I'd advise folks to budget for a taxi or Uber from the airport UNLESS your hotel/AirBNB is right on the bus line. If you're rolling baggage -- and unfamiliar with the area -- you'll be happy that you paid for service right to the door. It sucks to be rolling your bags on those terrible sidewalks, hot and humid, piss-soaked. Been there, done that.

    I use Uber and the RTA app, which is now "Le Pass", to get around. Never had a problem with either. Are the rules much the same when arriving by Amtrak? Thanks for posting!

    • @TravelAdventureswithEricB

      Amtrak is at least in the city,so it's a little easier to get to everything

      Hi! Quick question tho, do they accept cash in those buses? I am here at new orleans and I plan to look around while waiting for my start date at work

    • @scottsmith9201
      @scottsmith9201 Год назад

      @@michaelaviloria8299 they take cash BUT you have to have exact change. It's $1.25 I think.

      @michaelaviloria8299 Год назад +1

      @@scottsmith9201 one more thing, it is the standard fare for all the stops? Like, wherever you stop, it'll be 1.25 dollars? It doesn't increase while you're getting farther?

    Hi slightly off topic, I'm travelling (solo) to the USA for the very first time in December, I'll be arriving in New Orleans on an Amtrak, how do I get downtown from the station?
    Thanks

    • @TravelAdventureswithEricB
      @TravelAdventureswithEricB  7 месяцев назад

      The train station is actually downtown,near the World War 2 museum.You can catch the street car need by for $1.25 to the French Quarter.I recommend the street car.
