We decided our next trip will be to Cajun country, so we viewed a LOT of RUclips videos to learn about the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival. everything is smaller because everything is thousand year old and you had to fit people's house inside the walls of the city... They eventually built more walls, but the rule still applied, you fit the maximum business and houses inside the protection of the city walls.

Cococay looks way different than when I was there in 1997. I am looking forward to going there again oneday. The food looked yummy !! I don't remember seeing that pool, it must be new. It looks like it was a "perfect day" for you!!! :)!!!!!

Very helpful. I'd advise folks to budget for a taxi or Uber from the airport UNLESS your hotel/AirBNB is right on the bus line. If you're rolling baggage -- and unfamiliar with the area -- you'll be happy that you paid for service right to the door. It sucks to be rolling your bags on those terrible sidewalks, hot and humid, piss-soaked. Been there, done that.
