3. I honestly believe that it is only important what your pendulum is made of IF YOU BELIEVE IT IS!! I believe that I can dowse with any small weight on the end of a string or chain.
Funny - that goes right back to your first answer to me about training it. And it certainly explains why A & S (my 2 guardians) know how to answer and the third one, me, was all over the place. You're a great resource.
1. As long as you are dowsing for greater clarification on the same topic, it is not necessary to go through "This is what I want to do;" "Can I;" May I;" Am I ready?." You can just go on and ask the next question. But if you go on to a different topic, I would suggest that you begin with the above questions to tune in to the specific new area you want to dowse.
The back and forth motion of the pendulum in the search position is just that. It has no other meaning/function other than to get you an answer more quickly. I would encourage you to speak to your pendulum (read: your unconscious) when it is misbehaving, and tell it to stop what it's doing. MAKE IT react properly - as you would a dog on a leash. Honest. }:-) Sig
I believe that dowsing is a way to communicate with your unconscious. Learning how to dowse with a pendulum is like training a dog to walk on a leash. So sometimes, you need to "train" your pendulum how to behave. If it goes just back and forth, and you seek a 'yes' or 'no' response, ask a question that you know the answer to (say it is 'yes'), and if it stays in your search position, MAKE IT move into your 'yes' response. Teach your unconscious how you want it to respond.
I am just astounded by the results I have received so far. I have only just purchased my very first pendulum kit. This contained a solid brass pendulum, an instruction book, and a set of cards I have not used yet. I have completed some dowsing exercises and was stunned by the results. I will continue my dowsing training and see how far I can go.
Thank you Sig. I bought your book quite a few years ago and this was the first time I heard about the lemniscate thanks to you. What I am very curious about is body polarity. You mention the knees but each body part has a polarity and from my research nearly every person's body have the same polarities except if they have been reversed through trauma. Wayne Cook and Ernst Eeman went into this in some detail. It would appear that most forms of illness have a reversed polarity corollary. Wayne used his pendulum to rectify the polarity and Eeman used his copper Eeman circuits. What gets confusing is when dowsers confuse polarity with bad energy when the pendulum swings CCW. much appreciated

Thx for the answer, the weight of the pendulum is important? Some books recommend never going above 50 gr, the pendulum in your video seem to be a rock, how can be balanced?Please upload more videos.

A big hexagonal nut (3/4 of an inch or 1.5 mm across) on a piece of thread or string works great! Actually what the pendulum is made of only is important IF YOU THINK SO. Otherwise, any balanced weight on a string works. Sig Lonegren

Do you have to speak aloud your questions when dowsing?
I know the 3rd one! Serious work going on now, so I forget how funny my 2 guardians are.They shared their names verbally 15+ years ago; pendulum work began very recently. Now, 2 weeks into major energy clearings w/ journal & etc daily, a lot of major shifts taking place. Too little room for info, but the new entity's name came as this: AM I? I was like "Nice, guys. That's so you." I'm still laughing. They're good at unraveling me. Yesterday (vebally) "Don't Google for it, Angel for it!"

Why does my pendulum sometimes just keep going back and forth in the search position? It changes pace, though. It starts gently, then pretty soon it's doing the back and forth search very vigorously!!! No "no," no "poor question," no "maybe," etc. Just crazy back and forth! Thanks
I'm doing energy clearing w/ my angels. The Q below is bc I noticed a difference in the answers from my 2 guardians. After I asked you, I learned it was new entity. My issue isn't trust, it's practicality. 1) Conceptually I can train a pendulum. Train an angel???? 2). The below issue or conversely - nothing. 3) I ask the Q, then the "truth" is generally opposite. 4) I get answers, then nothing. Until I get this straight and am sure - I request one of the other 2 angels. Your thoughts?

I truly enjoyed this video , would like to see more. I myself am just becoming interested in the Pendulum as a Divination tool. I just bought a hand made board and pendulum and I love them. I am a rational Occultist and so I understand that the pendulum is moving due to the micro movements in your hand which originate from your brain as the mind gathers information from the collective consciousnesses in the universe , or at least this is how I see this tool - sad that you have to explain these things to avoid a landslide of ignorant comments - anyway - what are your views on using the pendulum for finding people or more specifically , finding criminals at large. I am a member of an online community that utilizes our skills of Divination to solve cold case crimes and currently I am working on the Zodiac crimes of the late 1960's and trying to hone in on some information that I have gathered using my other Divination skills - have you sigdowser - ever used your skill to do such a reading? Do you have any tips on methods that you know work well ? Thanks.

I agree, some unethical dowsers practice this, and I would agree totally with you; however, this is why consciously given permission is both ethically and morally imperative. Starten, I have used this term myself to describe dowsers who just go ahead and dowse others without their permission. I would add that in addition to ethics and morals, when using dowsing without permission is karmically dangerous as well.
Heilsa Sig! I very much enjoyed this video and the method that you use. Can I ask though, first, rather than asking permission for each question, can you ask permission for a series of questions (assuming that your sub-conscious already knows what you want to ask, ahead of the conscious mind) Also, do you have any information on Northern European dowsing practice and history, as I've found it hard to find. (well, impossible really) Finally, what is your pendulum made of please? Wynn & Friþ!
Sig, my sincere apologies. By going forward after your “go gently” warning, my actions implied you aren’t credible, which is not true. They also left open the possibility of someone assuming that working with spiritual entities is easy and safe. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I’m new to pendulums but have been interacting w/ higher entities a long time, so I moved forward through one of my guardians. Even so, for spirit work, Sig’s advice is wise. Thanks, Sig, for your expertise in both areas.
actually right side suppose to be yin and left suppose to be yang, where most of the time, right is more lighter than left. my guru told this.
Actually I don't believe it has anything to do with gender. Theoretically, every dowser's response can be different. I have found that most pendulumists have clockwise for "yes," so that is why I teach it that way. But ultimately, every dowser needs to find her/his responses. }:-)
This is all about mirrors. Which 'side' are you talking about? The right side of our body is yang and it is ruled the left brain, which is analytical/linear. In today's society, right-handed people are right on. Left-handed people (in Latin 'sinistra' read: sinister) are just left out. But people like your guru, I trust, are helping people like yourself, again I trust, to get in to the more spiritual right yin side of our brain. Left/RIght, it's all about mirrors.
There is no way to train an angel. It's like herding cats (though I have found that cats are really good at herding humans - especially around feeding time. Perhaps you are doing this advanced kind of dowsing too soon. You might want to fall back to the basics for a while and ask easier questions on easier topics like, "Is this avocado ripe?" or "Is this person telling me the truth?"
Dowsing for discarnates or other spiritual beings is the most advanced dowsing I gnow of. Take it gently.

Ollie...ignorance goes both ways. You'll have to do your own research. I stopped trying to prove to the obviously close minded years ago. No one is being misled but you my friend and definitely no one is being exploited. I think it's safe to say that other people can make up their minds about what is right and true for them without a misinformed watch dog.
