Thanks for your videos. It's helping me a lot. Not many people put out content like this. If I can request stuff without being greedy....more LOG from sacrament, more as I lay dying, wage war, or bury tomorrow.
Glad the content has helped you out! I intend to do a lot more LOG and As I Lay Dying as time goes on for sure. I've only done one bury tomorrow song, and I've never heard of wage war but I'm always down to doing new stuff and adding more for bands that I barely have any tutorials for so I'll check them both out.
Ik this video isn’t from the doooo. But I love how you made tutorials teaching us what he plays. This was exactly what I’ve been looking for. Ur awesome.
Great Lesson, subscribed to the channel !! Best Lesson for this song on the internet, this song is too epic not to have a proper lesson like this on the net !!
Man! You play very well. I’ve been trying for a good while now. And not been successful. The way you break down and segment your videos with slow amd up to speed parts makes the difference for me. I’m now learning this song which a week ago I had all but given up on. Thanks a million bro and I wish you all the best with things to come. I’m subscribing and gonna be following you as much as possible from here on !!
Thank you man!! Such an informative lesson that helped me progress massively in a few weeks. Only thing left to nail is that solo and more consistent timing. Legend!
I'm glad you like the tutorial! That is indeed a Jackson JS12. I'm not quite sure I understand what the term "stock" refers to. I understand that there is Stock A, B, and C but I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to.
Hey man, thanks for the lesson. I cant get that clean metal distortion sound from my strat, what is your pedal set up? Thanks if you have a minute to reply!
Hey man! Sorry for the late reply. First up, I should mention that my set-up is all virtual! I get my tone through a software called Bias FX (First version). The rhythm tone I use (which is what I assume you mean), is actually a preset I downloaded off the tonecloud of the software I mentioned. You can see the virtual set-up in this video: ruclips.net/video/JELOdpRk_0Q/видео.html It may be dysfunctional to mimic the exact set-up but it may give you some ideas if you're handy with gear. If not, the simplest way I can think of to get a similar sound, is to go for a scooped mids setting on your amp. You'll want the trebel and bass to be higher than the mids. From there, you can add some clean-up pedals such as a noise gate or a compressor if necessary. I also generally like the bridge pick-up for a crunchier sound.
@@MZguitar Damn thanks so much for the reply. So much great info there. Awesome, Thanks again man! I just got a catalyst line 6 and theres a pretty great hi-gain setting. going to try and scoop the mids like you say and get a more similar tone to your set up.
Just saw them a week ago with pantera…for some reason I had never heard this song (I’m a casual lamb of god listener 😂) been trying to get that opening riff down but it’s tricky lol it’s weird instead of just repeating it starts again the cuts itself off then starts again haha my poor brain 🤯😂
Wow this a great vid.. since Mike Mortons intro notes are picked , that’s a helluva lick. Is it best to practice with a netronome to get that speed of that intro lick. I can’t come close as every note is picked and I was just curious how to develop that speed
Hey man! Sorry for the late reply and thank you! I'm glad you liked the video. I don't know if you've decided on how to practice the lick in the time it took me to respond to this but I figure there's no harm in chipping in my 2 cents anyway. Regarding the intro, I'd recommend the metronome! An alternative would be to play along with the song slowed down and amp up the speed as you improve. However, the metronome is better as it allows you to clearly hear what you're playing. So if there's any sloppiness, string noise, or anything of the such, it'd be easy for you to pick that up early on and fix the problem. This lick is also pretty straight forward as it's all eighth notes, so it's relatively simple and easy to metronome.
I probably will! There's lots of Lamb Of God songs I'd love to do and Ghost Walking is one of them. I don't really know which one will be the next one, but I'll get to them all eventually.
Compare to other institutors, you only show us your skills..... i thought you will teach us slowly and smooth... I can't catch up your fingering..... 😢😢😢😢😢😢
The breakdown is tricky.
I will wait patiently! I know you will get it man. 🤘
for me, espacially the first 5 minutes of the song are tricky.

You make it look so easy but it’s so technical, mark and willie are some of the most creative guitarists of all time.
100% agree, I am struggling with this song.
Crazy how good of a guitarist you are dude, gonna take me some time to learn this haha. Thanks for the help 🤘
Haha, thank you and I'm glad to help! This song's pretty tough. Best of luck!
Since I've found your videos, I've learned so many songs! Thank you for the content!
Glad to hear the content has helped you out! Thank you for your comment.

Just discovered your site. I love your straight forward tab play along to regular speed examples, you’re my most recent inspiration 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you! I'm glad to hear that.
Man, you're really good. You've got a tight distorted sound, nice and clean. A lot of that is more in the hands than the gear.
Thanks man! I appreciate that.
Great lesson. Can you do a guitar lesson on ghost shaped people by Lamb of God ?
Thank you!
I'll check it out. I don't think I've heard that one before. There are definitely plenty of more Lamb of God songs to do.
Great video, thanks for doing this I know it's a lot of behind the scenes work that gets overlooked by most I feel.
I'm glad to help and thank you! It is indeed a lot of behind the scenes work. This song in particular, was a total pain in the ass, haha!
Man, this is such a great and well lesson!

You are too good bro
Thanks man!
Nice and smooth.. what kind of distortion recommended?
Thank you!
I'd say go with anything that works. I'm not too keen on specifics. I'd also recommend trying out the bridge pick-up.
Ok thanks man.. Thumbs up..😄
Whenever i mocking the right hand movement and playing the notes correctly like well practiced guitarist i cause too much noise after re practising it
How dare you believe that you could teach me😂
Very nice
Thank you!
You got it into muscle memory

Can you do one one another nail for your coffin? Its my favorite lamb of god song:)
I'll check it out. I think I'll continue to doing Lamb Of God tutorials for a while so there's big chance I'll do it eventually anyway.
what guitar is that ? I got the JS-12 Dinky in the same color
Yep. It's the JS12 Dinky.
I was wondering if you could do lessons on avatar metal since there are not many lessons
I intend to!
Requiem please
Great lessons. What tuning?
Thank you!
The tuning is drop D.
I should mention that the tuning is always in the description and pretty early in the video too 0:30
could you pls do "ghost walking" mate
I probably will! There's lots of Lamb Of God songs I'd love to do and Ghost Walking is one of them. I don't really know which one will be the next one, but I'll get to them all eventually.
What Tuning Drop bro?
Nice video! Can you make tab for Final Fantasy VII Battle from TheDooo?
Thank you!
I will do that one , but it's not in the next batch which is coming after the next video. Maybe after that.

This drop C or B?
It's in drop D. The tuning is almost always in the description and usually also shortly after the preview. In this case, it's mentioned at 0:30
Fucking sick dude!!
Thanks man!
Do some Infant Annihilator bro
Please tell me I'm not the only one that finds the opening riff very tricky to play, especially the second part with the string skipping
You're not the only one. I found it tricky and I'm sure a lot of people share the same sentiment.
@@MZguitar great lesson! The way you played it , made it look easy! The solo is definitely beyond me, am just hoping to get through the rhythm parts.
Is it in standard tunning?
No. It's in Drop D. The tuning is mostly always in the description and mentioned shortly after the preview. In this case, at 0:30

If you need things to be slower than they already are in the slow with tabs section, I recommend using the pause button and RUclips's speed option.
i thought the fur on his hands are tattoo
