You know what that kinda looks like? As all the cars pass by, and there's a traffic break, it's like when the waves are going out of a tidepool and all the little crabs and urchins and other tidepool creatures come out of their rocks and holes and get out in the middle looking for nice shots of the Plaza and the surrounding significant spots. I don't mean that in a mean way, it's just the first shot that struck me. And this must happen every midday of every day and every years and especially every November, when the mating season happens, you could say....all the JFK buffs (I'm certainly one ever since I was in high school from the moment I saw the Groden bootleg of Zapruder's film on "Good Night America".... and I was forever hooked.
Yes, I noticed that, too. I was definitely one of them. It probably does happen as often as you mentioned. It's kind of funny, I think. Something to giggle about.
Giggling? Not exactly the reaction I had when I visited.....Very somber and sad experience. I guess some people don't read the room. Disneyland or Epcot center should be on your list to go giggle and smile at. Just saying
Those places are on my bucket list. I also plan to return to Dealey Plaza, too, someday. Maybe the second visit will be a very somber and sad experience.
When you see it in person you notice how close Oswald really was to the car. Not only did Oswald do it, they found out where the first shot went. It hit a street light. Photos proved it.
I also noticed how small the overall area is. The so-called grassy knoll shooter would have been too close. I don't believe that a shooter would choose to be that close.

Well preserved site with buildings because of climate
