  • This is the first part of a 2-part tutorial series of modeling a product in Rhino 3D. Rhino is a great program for industrial designers since it allows for quick assessment and iteration. In this series, I want to give you a small window into how I would create a CAD model during my design process. This can be used in your own process in order to create models for rendering or design reviews.

Thank you very much for your tutorial, I just started taking rhino classes, and as a foreigner who studies in Korea, it was so much complicated. And you made it look so easy and fun!!! Hope your channel will grow even bigger!!!!

Kannst du ein allgemeines Video zum Freiflächen-Modeling machen bzw hast du schon eins dazu gemacht oder einen brandheißen Tip? Ich würde mich gerne in dieses Thema einarbeiten. VG

34:48 anyone else find that 2mm fillet edge is too big and doesn't join with the top part? 1mm works fine but then it's not like the shape, is there some other way to create that curve?

Hi Daniel! I'm!..I'm having a really annoying problem with rhino and it's that whenever I'm trying to draw a curve in the perspective view it is only drawn on the ground!! and I don't have either the planar or project turned on!! I don't remember having this issue before maybe with rhino 6!! Do you know how to solve this? and without adjusting the cplane every time :(

Hi Sebastian, CV stands for Control Vertices. So you could translate it to "Control Point". Hope that helps.
