As an industrial designer and 3D render aficionado, I will try to give you insights, tips, and tricks into the tools I use for my everyday design work.
How to bring a Product to Market (as an industrial designer)
Pre-Order the Luggage Hook: kck.st/3xd23tM
In this video I want to talk about my experience on a special topic: Bringing a product to the market. The best feeling for industrial designers is always when people have your product in hand and it helps them, makes their lives easier, or brings joy. This scenario is currently happening in my life, as we just launched a new product: the Luggage Hook. This small travel accessory helps you carry your jackets and bags, making travel much easier. I hope that this story inspires some of you to also take steps to launch your own product. If you need help with that, feel free to ask.

Industrial Design Tutorial: Headphone Design Visualization in Taitopia
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.Год назад
In this first Taitopia render tutorial, we are going to import a headphone model and create a studio setup to show off the design of the headphones in the best way. In the end, we are also going to make use of Taitopias' model catalog and quickly set up an exterior scene. Download the 3D model here: www.danielbrunsteiner.com/downloads/ Ad/Sponsored by Taitopia

Rhino 7 Tutorial: How to effectively use the Gumball
Просмотров 6 тыс.Год назад
In this video, I will show you how I use the gumball inside Rhino 7 to quickly move objects around, copy them and even use it as a modeling tool. The gumball is a powerful element inside Rhino and makes creating models faster and more convenient. Follow me on Instagram: danielbrunsteiner
Rhino 7 Tutorial: Close Polysurface Edges
Просмотров 34 тыс.Год назад
In this Rhino 7 tutorial, we will see how we can close edges along two separate surfaces, which is commonly a problem in polysurfaces. This technique will allow trouble-free continued work and saves you time and headaches. Rhino 7 Tutorial: Quick Design Mockups
Просмотров 1,9 тыс.Год назад
In this video, we will see how I use Rhino 7 to quickly make 3D mockups or basic models to check proportions, sizes and functionality, which will influence further design decisions. When designing physical products, it's important to quickly get an idea out of your head and into the real world. Whether in a sketch, a model, or a physical mockup, it's essential to have something to discuss and m...

Thanks, Daniel!
Could you upload another rhino tutorial
awesome.. thx!
Great video. I just have one complain from you. You don't upload often, please do!
Wow! thanks
Thank you for this information
Thank you.🙏🙏🙏
HELP PLZ! When I'm making the handle and trying to split the cylinders it makes one of the halves but the other half is split in two so there are quarters. When I try to merge them together, the blend tool doesn't recognize the half that used to be two quarters as one and does not blend correctly. I've tried several times and rewatched the video but haven't figured it out yet.
great tutorial! I learned a lot. thank you!
If the top of the lid of the kettle is too wide, but the base of the lid is perfect, how would you shrink the top? Thanks for the video!
Şu ana kadar izlediğim en iyi ürün modelleme videosu her şey çok anlaşılır ve çok netti teşekkürler keşke daha fazla ürün modelleme videoları çekseniz
Exactly the video I was looking for, thank you
my drops apears black in color, how can i avoide it
Great video! Do you know how to make a solid object from separate 2D sections. For example I have different 2D sections of a wall which have different size and I want to connect them for making a 3D solid wall. I've tried to use LOFT order but it just made a shell by connecting lines of different sections.
Thanks for sharing! Sometimes small details like this really matter
Why doesn't that don't work for me?
why that's not works on me?
Hi Renald, what exactly isn’t working for you? Best, Daniel
Wow!
Coming from blender to rhino , one thing i see that im still noob at rhino , I'll be back for more of these
Hey! Your work displays looks nice. What are the parameters?
While those 3 ways to create the Y-branch of the handle are quicker, the best approach is to use 6 single-span surfaces for each side. Despite that this technique requires more time for modeling, the end result is much better and exactly what's used for manufacturing purposes by the majority of industrial designers. ruclips.net/video/KywTxrkTkco/видео.html As for the 3nd way that uses a patch, it's possible to create a better end result by building 3 blend curves between the blend surfaces. This way, the bulging of the patch surface will be considerably less pronounced.
My hero, ty a lot!
I did learn several things from this short video about industrial design I also enjoyed it Thanks very much for a great class
But we can play with extracted isocurved in 1st option as it gives continuous curve to use for further division or working. Also the flow will have more flexibility in option 1 because it is single continuous surface. Even you can split the option 1 with split _isocurve command to achieve option 2. Actually it depends on the need but your argument is also valid for that situation.
Can the fuzz node 'dust' be exported as geometry like baking displacement ?
please make a video about the prototypes ( what materials you used ), how you created them, and getting them into mass production
Hello friend, can you share drops and streaks video?
very usefull thanks a lot
Love the design. You said that injection molding was too expensive, what was your alternative?
What I meant is that a two-part injection mold (also called two-shot) is very expensive, wher you will end up with a part made from two different types of plastic, such as a harder one and a softer one. This type of injection molding is more expensive. So I was happy that we changed it to a one-part.
Very well done !
Well done Daniel!
Thank you for the amazing content. The product is amazing, will get one for sure!!
Thanks so much for the kind comment! And I cannot wait for you to receive the Luggage Hook! 🙌
Thank you, Daniel! Your work is truly inspiring! As a designer, I'm bursting with questions, but I'll keep it brief. How did you navigate finding the ideal partners for engineering, manufacturing, logistics, etc.? If your product is made in Europe, how did you calculate the overall cost effectively? What led you to choose Kickstarter, and could you offer any resources or insights on launching your first campaign there? Such an intersting topic!
Hi Jonah, thank you so much for the kind words. I try to answer your questions quickly, maybe if there is enough interest I could also answer them in another video. So, for the partners, I found that if your contact person is responsive and thinks ahead, you can tell they are easy to work with, which is already such a big plus. For the cost, of course the production will be a bit more expensive, but we have a big advantage of shorter lead times and shipping routes to the whole of Europe. We use Kickstarter and other crowdfunding platforms mainly to gauge the response and create a community. Nowadays, the only way to really reach your customers is through paid ads sadly, so building up from an early-adopter user base could create a good basis. Hope that answers your questions. ✌️

Thank You!!
Great 😊
Very useful!Thank you
What do you personally think is better to lear keyshot or taithopia?
Very useful
In my rhino, Even if i dont explode, it extrude the 2nd way, it will behave 1st way only if i rebuild it.
That's true it sometimes works that way but not always, so that's why I want to show the difference and to be mindful about this behaviour.
Fascinating
Keep up bro👌
I didn't even know that shortcut, so this helped a lot!
Glad it helped! Which shortcut did you learn?
@@danielbrunsteiner the control shift select 😅I feel silly for exploding everything now lol.
Wow thank you!
Stabiler Schnauzer!
I discoverd your tutorials today and I am enjoying it a lot. It made me discover many new and very interesting things. I feel like I will progress faster and more consistently in the fantastic Rhinoceros.
Wonderful! Glad they are helping!
where can we get the image that u used from?
Very usefull, really ;) Thank you
