- Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performs “YOUNGSTOWN” live for the first time since 2017 at their Columbus, Ohio concert on 4/21/24 at Nationwide Arena. Filmed using an iPhone 15 Pro from section 101 side stage lower level.
2024 > 2023. Not even close. Bruce and the E Street Band are getting that 2016 River Tour swag back 🔥
Yup. 85% Bruce was fantastic. Not sure what changed, but this 100%+ Bruce makes me consider buying airplane tickets to see a show
I personally liked the stripped down band for the river tour. No backup singers and no sans horns with the exception of Jake of course.

concert was postponed twice from original date in march 2023, waited over a year for this. DAMN RIGHT is was worth the wait!!

That's what makes Bruce Springsteen above most of the rest. His lyrics are always right to the point. ALWAYS. I am a 64 year old man 65 in June from north Philly. I saw Bruce 4 times i now live in cape may new jersey. I remember President Reagan wanted to use Born in the USA for his reselection song. People just didn't get it. It's a song about how the American government covered up. Everything they had done in the Vietnam war. My father was a WW2 veteran and he asked me to explain it to him. He never cared for rock music. But he had nothing but respect for Bruce for writing a song like that. I went on to explain a couple more. Dad always thought rock music was about getting hi and having sex. There's ones that do that but Bruce Springsteen and Pete Townsend will write songs that have meaningful things of what is going on in the world and needs to have attention to it. They are both musical genres.

I was born and raised in Columbus but relocated to Germany after my Service time. Big fan of Bruce, seen him everywhere and I love this song. Great post and great job NIls, Bruce and the E-Street band. Would of loved to seen this live.

Tickets from 2022? My seat was higher, a little to the right from here, looking down at the piano, and Max's drum feet, a bird's eye view of the whole stage-right (audience perspective). A friend insisted I'd like the show correctly. He's a Rock-Superstar musician entertainer, legitimately. They sounded close to 40 years ago with many songs, especially him, in great voice.

It perturbs me when ear-plugs just wont go in easily. I struggled for some time. I prevailed after prolonged effort. Nationwide Arena is not Carnegie Hall. Sound is bouncing, clashing around: terrible. When I finally did mute the reverb, the music was worth it, impressive. Also, the seats are designed for Pygmy comfort ? ... doable, call it snuggling?
