The soft and melodious touch of Pt. Nikhil Banerjee is evident in his playing of this besutiful raga created by Pt Ravishakar ji, whose style Nikhil ji used to follow initially till he blended the baaz of imdadkhani gharana in his sitar playing to create an unique style of his own, while maintaining the dhrupad style of playing alap and jor of the Maihar senia gharana. Pranams to the legends !

It is the original flavour of senia beenkar maihar gharana.

I am sure this is played by Pandit Ji and not by Pt. Nikhil Bannerjee. You can make out this by carefully listening to sitar timbre and the playing of krintans.
