You don't need fabricate that copper spacer to use the RCBS Swager die with that particular press. I have the exact same press. Simply take your small and larger primer levers, stack them on top of each other so the curved side hugs the ram. You'll find the height of both primer levers is identical to the adjacent braces. Nice video, I like what you did with that copper tube piece. When I first saw you talking about using dremel tool to make it wider I was scratching my head, but you found out hard way :-) That measuring tool looks like easy to make on lathe machine.
You forget the lower the rod to the bottom of the case it supports the bottom of the case as it is swaging the pimer pocket! There is a grove on the rod you should be able to see it at the base of the die body !
I've got the same swagger.. same thing.. doesn't work as designed on my T7 press... I've just been leaving a flat piece of metal at the base on one side and it works but falls out of alignment a bunch.... I'll be cutting a copper coupling up soon too.... great fix for a real common problem.....
I am doing to to design an 3d print an adapter (I have very strong materials like Nylon and Polycarbonate alloys). Can anyone give me the inner dimension of the RCBS collet that fits over the ram? I'd rather not wait until Thursday for my die set to arrive :)
When you introduce the video and topic ... adjust the camera angle so that the viewer can see your face as you address your audience. I realize that the portion of the video the focuses on operation of the press should put the tool in focus. But as humans, we communicate a great amount through facial expression and body language.
Why didn't you just Cut out your mistake of grinding it out, and just show us the Right way to do it.... Come on, make videos shorter, then we can see more videos in less time. !!!! Remember Shorter Videos = More Money.

I have all RCBS products so I won't need a copper sleeve, but I think it's cool that you made that work for you. Good job
Lee makes a "Ram Swage" that looks kinda like the RCBS but set up is a snap and it works great check Midway
Applying lube to the swage in between cases helps tremendously

put another leg under your press, and bolted to the floor, and get rid of the bench flex. things go much nicer, better feel of the swage process

So what do you do if you have a bad one after you check once in a while? Go back and check all of them in your bin?

instructions say to leave the rod sticking out of the die to the first notch on the rod, about 3/16 of an inch.
Much easier if rod protrudes 1/4 inch below the die and then adjust with die as the instructions with the swagger 2 say.

The mouth of the 223 brass doesn't fit the rod! I have resized the brass and none of them fit the rod!

So after you swager the brass do you need to deburr anything?
