I have a similar experience! It makes you feel good when you're thriving and out of that toxicity. They see you glowing and thats what they wanted but it's too late at that point for you should've been the one to be by my side and help me to glow.

Usually a music artist has to "grow" on me but I knew Banks was dope from the first time I heard her a couple days ago. She's like Lorde, The XX, and a little bit of a Beyoncé vibe (you know like when Bey sings songs about men fucking with women's emotions and her girl power anthems and stuff). Banks is a gem!

BANKS, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, and Ellie Goulding all have a very similar sound. Not the same, but quite similar. Especially Lana Del Rey and BANKS. Both have a low, slow sound to them. Love them all.
Well Ellie Goulding has more kinda Electronic, more Pop sound to her music.....while others have alternative rock sound.

A friend sent me the link to this song today after she heard what happened and I've been listening to it ever since.
