Tomi probably has the widest range of any bass on the market right now. His whistle notes are so beautiful and clean, you would think it was a woman soprano singing when he hits them. Plus he can do subharmonics and inhale bass. Oh and he’s an insanely good riffer. His bass album is amazing!

I have heard and seen the term Bass Ganger used by their fans. The Bass Gang currently has a Kickstarter campaign to fund recording and filming videos in person for the first time this summer. So far less than 100 people have made pledges to support them but I know they have many more fans that would like to see this happen.❤
I will definitely be jumping on that on pay day! I'd love to see what they can do together
@@dj_410 Thank you. Even though they don't have that many people pledging, they are already at 80% of their goal. I was happy to give up a Starbucks coffee in order to pledge.
Bass Gang are indeed awesome! Would love to see you react to their version of "Centuries" next - the rock/metal singer Jonathan Young collabs with them on that and he is phenomenal! It blew me away when I first heard it and it's now a track I play so much it's ridiculous!

Brilliance! I was so curious about their take on this song, being a huge Panic fan, and I am so happy to have somewhat shared the experience in a safe environment that appreciates a host of bass singers plumbing the depths of their vocals!

The coolest part of this song in my opinion is Tomi's consistent high notes in the "finders keepers losers weepers" line, it makes the line so much more menacing.

Peter says Tomi has a 6.5 octave range. So yeah-whistle notes. And Marwan with those obscene low notes-he was 17!!
It’s fun to see how far they’ve come in terms of cohesion and just basic resources. Now they have Patreon, which has helped a lot.

For a long time the last piece I played each evening, rounding up the day. Mad World soon became the new favourite. And then there's all their solo work to explore. They all have some awesome stuff.

Each member arranged one of the 4 songs and had a guest join the group - Tomi P - Mad World feat. Elliot Robinson, Marwan Ayman - Centuries feat. Jonathan Young, Bobby Bass - Iris feat. Malinda and Peter Barber - Yellow Flicker Beat feat. Colm McGuinness.
One fun one to do would be a double feature of them and Voiceplay both covering Hide and Seek, and both groups featuring Lauren Payley. Both incredible, but very different styles of songs.

Since you love BG so much and have seen them with their one bass god (Tim) you need to start checking out their other inspiration, Avi Kaplan. I know you know him from PTX but his solo music is on another level and his songwriting will touch you to your soul. Tomi did an Avi medley with Efe Sayin that will give you an idea why the guys love him (and he loves them).
