Sarah Baker herself is reminding me so much of Lauren Bacall in her looks and elegance! Actually seeing her on your channel makes me even more interested in her perfumes. I have not tried Symmetry but I certainly will because I am always looking for a perfume I can wear in warm weather that has some body to it and that lasts, and the description of it plus knowing there is oud to anchor the citrus aspects makes me think this is what I am looking for. I also really want a full bottle of Loudo (have tested, love, but do not have a fb yet) and I would love to try Gold Spot! I love that many spects of creativity are included in the creation and presentation of the perfume; for example, the story included in the box adds so much to my interest, as well as does Sarah Baker's art, and the addition of butterscotch and dark chocolate to the perfume is titillating! I'd love to win a bottle of Gold Spot, thank you for the chance, and I am in NC, USA. Happy New Year!
I fell in love with Loudo when I first got a whiff of it after purchasing the first Scent Club box. I felt the scent was so unique and it was my favorite out of the three. It was something I've never smelled before in commercial perfumes and fragrances I was used to, but at the same time, the warmth from the oud and the chocolate notes made me feel so nostalgic. I would love to be able to smell Gold Spot since it was inspired by Loudo.
Fabulous film for the Perfume lovers. I like the sound of Sarah's transatlantic life, as much as I like the sound of Gold Spot. Scent wise the butterscotch and oud sounds luxury personified, a real treat would like to sample and I'm from Poole. UK. (Home of Lush) Thanks!
Gr😢video. Always interesting to have special guests on the channel. Gold Spot sounds interesting with the butterscotch note. Can only imagine how that would interplay with the chocolate and Oud. Haven’t tried any of the creations from the house. Lovely video…Canada
Hi Sebastian, Thanks to Sarah Baker for this generous giveaway. Really fascinated by Goldspot and the story behind this fragrance. Thanks a lot from the UK
This was such a treat. It is so cool to see the person behind the brand especially for indies and niche. As for Gold spot, I am so excited for it, the story of its evolution into something even more indulgent and gourmand sounds amazing, I have only ever smelled symmetry and I am so excited for this release as I do like things on the sweeter side when it comes to fragrances. And the packaging and the script sound really cool too what a nice touch. Thank you for the content, and thanks so much to Sarah Baker for the giveaway. Commenting from NY. Happy new year all!
I honestly haven't tried any fragrance of the brand, but I also like Chris Maurice as a perfumer and the fact that Sarah Baker has asked him to continue to work around an existing accord to create something new. It's great that you do these interviews, Sebastian! Best wishes from Germany
Sebastian thank you for bringing this unique perfumes also Sarah Baker is an innovator I can't wait to buy this perfume I am located in Florida thank you
Love Sarah Baker perfumes. I have Loudo and it is one of my favourite perfumes, it’s dark but not too dark, it’s dirty but not too dirty. I m from Ireland 🇮🇪 and I usually purchase Sarah baker perfumes from the Barcelona Perfumery. Gold spot sounds like it’s going to be another big hit and I would love to win it. The feuding actresses looking to get the top spot is genius and a great inspiration for fragrance. I also love the perfumer Chris Maurice and his creations. Beautiful packaging and great art work.
This sounds intriguing. I was touched by the artistry, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail-down to the packaging-of the fragrance. I always choose fragrances as though they were a character in my story; each one playing a role that speaks to my mood, my intention, or setting an entire scene for that day or night. I’m grateful for the chance to write Gold Spot in to my tale. Cheers from Boston, Ma.
When you say Chris Maurice and gourmand and add on the note chocolate I was hooked! I’ve tried Jungle Jezebel from the house of Sarah Baker and thought it was very funny and funky and very daring creation - loved it! And of course I’m interested in testing more scents from this house! Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪
Very interested in Sarah's line Gold Dot sounds amazing. My wife and I have been following you for a while and I am definitely interested in her new line..
I love Sarah’s creativity and humility! Well done! Gold spot is a instant hit!!!😍😍😍i love that good spot stands out, it has the xtra factor that is a cut above the rest!
Hello Sebastian - Gold spot sounds amazing. I love the story behind the fragrance and the idea of smelling butterscotch with myrrh. I live in Texas and please enter me into the drawing. Thank you!
I am so intrigued about Gold spot ! From the parfumer to the note breakdown, the storytelling to the last bit of its presentation. It looks like true artistry! Thank you for letting us catch a glimpse of great perfume houses!! Greetings from Sweden 🤗
I do have a sample of Gold Spot and it was a "oh lord what is this?" Moment lol. Its smells like nothing else I own. It intrigued me from the vintage Hollywood references. I adore classic Hollywood. Missouri, USA.
Gold Spot sounds appealing. I love gourmand leaning or gourmand adjacent, sweet but also spicy perfumes. I am excited to try this house’s perfumes! Writing from New York!
I own Symmetry and it’s great! When I heard about Gold Spot I had to get a sample, especially since I heard comparisons to Symmetry. I like it even more! Its sweetness contrasted with the slight funk was amazing. I’d love to get a bottle eventually. Thank you Sarah Baker and Sebastian for the opportunity to win a bottle. PA, USA
Now I really want to wear Gold Spot while watching What Ever Happened to Baby Jane… both for the first time! And with some nice company and too much popcorn. We have some with Caramel here in Belgium. Perfect fit for this fragrance. Best wishes! Cheers to you!
I haven't tried these fragrances but am interested in doing so. Nice to the face behind the name and a lovely face it is. Thanks Sebastian for this New Year treat.
I’m huge huge fan of Chris Maurice work. I’m following his creations through the years and I’m so thirsty to explore his latest work. I would be so happy digging deeper in the Sara Baker collection. Great to start new year with this luxurious concoction. I’m big fan from Sofia(Bulgaria). 🍬
Loudo was my favourite fragrance of last year!! I don't know why I thought Sarah baker was British. I'm a London based Dr and wore Loudo to work after blind buying it and loved it. When I heard about gold spot because of this channel I thought sounds even lovelier and even more me, I've got my fingers and toes crossed🤞🏾
I have heard a lot about loudo, but I didn’t know the connection between symmetry, loudo and gold spot. Loudo as well as other Sarah Baker fragrances are definitely on my wishlist for this year. Greetings from a Maryland, US.
Great video! Thanks guys ive seen sarah baker perfumes and always wondered about them im just starting my perfume journey and I dont have to many perfumes but ..im getting there. Im more interested now that you've had sarah on your channel im gonna go to fragrantica and study up on them. Thank you again always a pleasure learning from and watching sebastian.take care and god bless, Jaime in TN .U.S.A
Love it when you have the brands on the channel. Love learning from the people behind the brands. Thanks Sebastian. I'm skipping the giveaway because I already ordered a sample and can't wait to sample it. I also got Loudo from your scentsclub kit drop last summer and really love it. That is why I wanted to sample Gold Spot.
The butterscotch and dark chocolate combination definitely makes sound great, I would really like Gold Spot in my collection. Commenting from California
Im a huge fan of Loudo (nearly empty) and had also bought Gold Spot... Having to smell brilliant and natural oud from Ensar, Bortnikoff and Prin among few, this review is spot on!! I love Symmetry too and would love a full bottle to complete my trio collection... Loved this video very much, having to put a voice on Sarah Baker's demure appearance - watching from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia... A huge fan of both of you guys...❤
I absolutely love Loudo from trying it in the Scent Club kit, so I am intrigued by another scent in that same vein. The thing that really got me in Sarah Baker’s description was eating a dark chocolate bonbon with the first coffee of the day. How marvelous! I am commenting from Arizona in the USA.
Living in Reno Nevada at the moment but a Bay Area transplant. Love buying US fragrances or at least US founders I heard there out of London now. Also love the thought process behind the fragrances it’s pretty cool all the thought that went in to them. Thanks
A great review with a great woman. Thank you Sebastian. I find the story of the perfume and that it is a gourmand perfume very interesting, because I am also a gourmand lover 👍. Greetings from Germany.
I am in love with Loudo! On my wishlist, I have a 5ml sample and it is literally a blissful composition! Chris Maurice nailed it. Love the passion that shines through Sarah Baker perfumes and she is lovely. Would love to win Gold Spot! Thanks for introducing us to the amazing gems of this house, Sebastian! I'm in Miami, Florida.
Another amazing review, I’ve loved Loudo since first sniff and it’s even more enticing now what there’s a flanker to it, can’t wait to try! Watching from Toronto Canada, thank you for the opportunity 😊🙏
As a huge fan of Loudo, this sounds absolutely astounding. I love the gourmand touches that were in Loudo so to have those amped up with the addition of butterscotch and dark chocolate has me salivating at the thought. Chris is a master of oud-centric fragrances and I just have a feeling that this will reign as one of his best. Watching from North Carolina, USA.
I would love to try Gold Spot! The combination of citrus, oud and dark chocolate is sounds absolutely unique. Also the packaging is amazing! Greetings from Greece.
I love Sarah Baker perfumes. Gold spot is one of my favorites. I adore Leopard and have 3 bottles. Adore flame and fortune as well. If I had to only wear one house for the rest of my life and money were not an issue I would ONLY wear Sarah Baker. In fact I'm selling off parts of my collection to buy more Sarah Baker. They are so different, unique, nothing else smells like them! I love her use of animalics in Leopard.
I been interested in Loudo since I knew about it, but I haven't bought it yet, then they launched Gold Spot and I didn't know which one to buy first, but I think Gold Spot is more my kind of fragrance, what makes it more appealing to me is the dark chocolate in combination with the Oud, I really would love to try it!!! Love the new Bottle presentation and the packaging is fantastic!!! 😍Now I understand the difference between the three. Thanks to Sarah and to you for the great video!!! Texas
Loved how quickly you remembered the film names, I know you come from professional film making initially and loved to see that sneak up:) I love the idea of master perfumer Chris Maurice sourcing the oud on his travels and tincturing himself back in his atelier, real olfactory artistery! I would like to smell the endproduct as I love ouds and gourmands:) (from Switzerland)
What a treat to meet Sarah Baker and hear about Gold Spot! I’m enjoying Loudo from Scent Kit #1, so I’m sure I would love the deeper, more gourmand notes in Gold Spot! Definitely sounds delicious to me! Thank you from Dallas, Texas!
The thing that intrigued me the most was the idea to complement the oud with sweet notes. The safe bet would be to couple it with florals. But for DNA that started with the idea to make a fresh oud scent I think this is the correct way to go! Can’t wait to smell it! Commenting from Sweden, Europe.
I think it’s great how all the perfumes follow a course of change but still resemble the previous perfumes. Kind of like siblings.. you have the bright one, the deep one and then the glitzy one. “Extra” sounds fun. Like wearing your work scrubs but putting on the shinny brooch because it’s your profesional suit too. Thank you for the world wide chance to take part in the give away. Good luck to all. A Californian in Sweden.
Hi from the USA 👋Love learning the evolution of Symmetry to Loudo to Gold Spot. The addition of the butterscotch and sweet myrrh really has me intrigued, and love the addition of slightly dirty oud to counter the sweetness.
I love how multifaceted this fragrance is described, and also the gourmand touches. Just the description alone sounds radiant and luminous, and the review was so intriguing. Thank you so much, Sara and Sebastian, for the wonderful interview! Greetings from Michigan USA!
Adding dark chocolate and hazelnut with oud, wow sounds intriguing.. I would love to get gold spot as they are not available here in Australia. Thx seb for making this video and sharing infro abt Sarah B perfumes. Jasmeet Adelaide ( Australia)
The notes of Gold Spot are exactly what I like. I'd like to have this unique perrfume in my collection. I'm in the USA. Thank you for interviewing inportant people in fragrance on your channel.
I love the concept behind each one, so thoughtful. From the affordable oud to a screenplay and hand stamped package. Everything shows care and passion. For Gold Spot I am in love with butterscotch. It’s a childhood favorite and I can’t think of a fragrance that carries it, at least not one I have! I would treasure this gift!! I am in California. Thank you for the opportunity.
Both of these perfumes - Gold Spot and Loudo - sound sooo yummy! I’ve never had a chance to smell any of Sarah Baker’s fragrances because they’re not available where I live. The gourmand character of Gold Spot and combination of butterscotch with chocolate sounds unreal. Then a touch of citrus notes and oud base… I mean - wow! I’d really love to wear it! Fingers crossed this giveaway makes it possible :) Sending best New Year’s wishes straight from Vilnius, Lithuania!
I wear Symmetry all the time, is my favorite oud scent and wear all year round. I'm really curious about Loudo and Gold Spot. I missed your Scent club fragrance kit with Loudo so I hope you drop some more so I can take advantage of it. But a great video to learn from Sarah Baker.
Really enjoyed Loudo from the house, and Gold Spot sounds just as amazing to me! Of course its made by one of my favourite perfumers, too. From Toronto, Canada but have an American mailbox
I’ve just started getting into niche fragrances in 2022 and am very excited to build out my (currently small) collection to include more bold, interesting and unique fragrances. Sebastian you have been such a huge source of learning for me and I’ve watched almost all of your videos. I love the smell of oud but have been struggling to find an oud fragrance that I could personally wear as a young-ish woman, or that differed from the usual scent oud/rose scent profile. I love how gold spot is a deep, luxurious, indulgent fragrance kept alive with those fresh tart touches and it sounds completely different from any other oud fragrance I’ve smelled. I would love to have it as a special occasion fragrance and feel dramatic and glamorous wearing it. Happy new year to you both from Australia 💜
I haven’t tried anything from the brand so far but I’m very interested after hearing the descriptions and explanations of fragrance development. Thank you both for this video and with crossed fingers I am sending greetings from Austria.
I would LOVE to own Gold Spot! A not ordinary gourmand fragrance sounds perfect to me. Also SB's bottles and packaging are superb. Greetings from Mexico 😉
This was such a fun video to watch! I loved learning about all three fragrances. What sold Gold spot for me is the description that Sara gave about sitting in the morning reading newspaper and drinking coffee with a bonbon on the side! Of course I also love the notes and particularly love the butterscotch and chocolate notes in Gold spot. I'm from Illinois US and thanks for the giveaway!
I've never had an opportunity to try this brand as I don't see it offered near me. I love the idea of the Gold top. This would be my very first niche fragrance. I'm usually drawn to amber, powdery, spicy, ambrox, with a hint of floral. I'm leaning more towards gourmand these days than when I was younger. Greetings from rural Alberta in Canada.
I love Bascule by Sarah Baker, such a fun scent. I don't have anything similar to Gold Spot in my collection and it sounds so lovely. I really enjoy cypriol and citruses but never really experienced them in a complex perfume like Gold Spot before, it would be amazing to win a bottle. In New York, USA

I'm all about gourmands too. Fancy to see another perfume lover from my country!
Symmetry, gourmand and dirty oud, I'm all for it. Bronx NY.
The idea of a gourmand frag with real oud sounds so lavish! Would love to smell Gold Spot here in Texas! Thank you, Sebastian and Sarah!
My pleasure!
Sebastian have you heard of the 2 new Tom Ford fragrances electric cherry and cherry smoke
Oh yes those are two fragrances that were rumored to be launched since october and finally they are out.
Great video Sebastian & Sarah Baker I love the notes of Gold Spot & the story behind it . I’ll love to win it . I’m from Oakley CA.
