The best thing about this combo is that you don't have to click through targets each time you repeat it, the pieces just trigger each other and you need only watch :D
Everflowing well is sad you didn't invite him to the party. Been playing this list in standard a while basically with ertai and hopeless nightmare instead of the cards from duskmourn but the black impending card is an auto include for sure. Myriad pools/everflowing well works great with revenant. Although I will probably have to add 1 or 2 grimoires for the auto kill.
Can someone explain to me the interaction that happened at 18:00 when the backside of invasion of amonkhet that copied aclozotz died, but then was able to come back? is it because of the wording of when acloz dies, returning it tapped and transformed, and since its the invasion, it gets returned as the creature again since it is the backside?
Hey guys, dont know where else to ask 😅 Im pretty new to MTGA but I’ve collected enough cards/wildcards to craft a deck. Now that the new packs released does that mean a bloomburrow decks wont be good or playable anymore and it would be smarter to wait for solid decks to rise in the new packs or should i still craft a bloomburrow deck? Cheers guys
Hey, several sets are all legal in standard at once so you would be making a standard deck, not a Bloomburrow one. The new set coming out just means the existing ones will change in power as well as gain some addditions. It's hard to give specifics as depending on the set some colours may benefit more than others but most decks that worked in Bloomburrow will continue to work in the new set but you may need to spend some wildcards to get any additions you may need. Also, there are modes like historic and timeless that let you use all cards from all sets and while I don't recommend that right away, building a collection can make it easier to get into later.
By that logic almost any card is useless. You can find a counter to any strategy if you pinpoint what your deck is supposed to be strong against. In a healthy meta there should always be answers to most strategies/common decks.
@@LegenVD yeah exacly that card from game 2 i thought that your opponent is so smart and has some target dmg in this deck to redirect the same dmg to your face. but hey this card and any 1 dmg source would seal the deal if this life / draw combo is to prevalent in standard play.
I suppose you can't comment on the CEDH ban list. Kinda messed up to sell a secret lair drop including them and then a few months later ban the card devaluing it and essentially making it worthless. I don't think people should speculate or invest in a card game either way but it feels like a bait and switch.

"Let's put life gain payoff on a monoblue card, what's the worst that can happen?"
Another artifact that should've been white
"We never tested Nadu in its final form, we just thought it would be good in commander."
@@electric_dream_machineI'm thinking this and cosmos elixir. Any others you can think of?
I'm laughing like crazy for that game 3
combo with the least amount of clicks necessary is so nice on Arena specifically
The grimoire is such a fascinating card, glad to see you give it a go
Crim's early access name is so funny, simply known as "the Asian"
It’s his whole personality
Love the Combos!
You know, you always do a good job of seeing all sorts of possibilities, but that bluff play was pretty gnarly even for you.
Having Queza as my main brawl deck and one of the edh decks in real life, im quite happy they printed a combo piece such as grimoire 😄
DRAW! MONSTA CADO!
Nice reference!
This list provides page turning amounts of value
what a bluff on match3 GG
28:39 The one and only time you actually *want* to see the opponent scoop early while playing a combo deck, and going off. That was a beautiful sight!
Now I got a deck for my play set of revenants!
ooo double vid today
Grimoire is also a 1 card combo if you're playing Queza as your commander
Game 2 was against TheAsianMTG from Goldfish... hope to see the game on his side 😂
Hex game was creazy, winning from 1 life is just so satisfying
Play the revenant zero chance to win be calm the opponent might not realize that what are we waiting for! Never didn't have it!!

nice. There is an old card, damage goes to library , can t remember the name.
I seem to recall that that sort of effect has been reprinted several times and is often themed as a sort of lichdom effect.
@@Avatarbee Thanks!
Man, Kaito is brutal. Really not a fan of giving planeswalkers Hexproof in and way.
hm i think the new red 3 drop mythic with be stable and shutdowns the whole combo for ever no life no draw

You mean the card we faced in one of our games and it was basically just a 3/3 with Haste?

not a fan of wotc making multiple 2-card combo kills in the same set
Doesn't this make an argument for having more than 60 cards in this deck?
Would lower chances of getting the combo pieces in standard. I'll definitely be adding this combo to quite a few brawl decks though.
Notification squad. I’m loving seeing WoTC being combo into standard.
11:50 You probably want to play the grimoire before attacking, so that you can draw off of the lifelink.
I mention a little bit later that I was worried about having enough cards left in library once we combo, otherwise that would be the play!

Damn those new card art styles are so ugly and hard to read.
16:47 The big brain play for the opponent would have been to kill his own creature.
