Yep. This is what you would get if a Thing got loose in a zoo. The animals probably harbor Things, just like in the movie, until they feel the need to bust out and take over their hosts. THen you get absolute horrors that want to either assimilate or kill you.
Only thing that makes this an actual game and not just a horror movie is that there IS a way to drive out the Things and cure the animals. You just have to live long enough to get it to them. Good luck.
This also based of Zoochosis, an actual thing, that causes animals kept in captivity to go insane, from not having enough space, loneliness etc.
To think of it, there's 3 girrafes in the first clip and the two giraffes is both infected, ... we can see the second giraffe is mutating and gives you jump scare.
The heat sensor sees the First giraffe as too much heat to be normal, Second has the heat of a cold blood creature
Oh. I thought the first giraffe swung back around and re-entered the enclosure.

Kangaroos, gorillas, elephants, and hippos are already very dangerous animals on their own. Add in carnivorous alien mutations and that zookeeper doesn’t stand a chance.

Meerkats might be the worst though if you think about it.

For the last question, I feel like if you don't treat all the infected animals, they will most likely escape the zoo causing a bad ending to happen

2 infected creatures revealed so far. Infected giraffe, and wallaby.
The infected giraffe might be one of the most tricky infected to get around, with it being able to go into areas normal giraffes cant due to their... modifed body, such as corridors. It seems to also be extremely mobile, quicky crawling up a cliff.
Due to how they look, Infected giraffes may use a combination lf attacks such as stabbing, biting, mauling and even trampling prey.
Now the infected wallaby. They are quite small, so no where you are truely safe from them. They might be one of the most agile, as in real life they are blindly agile. Pair that with the mutations they are likely almost unnaturally quick. They seem to still possess some intelligence, switched to predatory cunning. They are shown hiding on walls and ambushing prey. Based on their appearance, they might possess a grabbing attack where they crunch down on their prey with their body mouth, dealing serious damage, as well as being able to slash their prey with their razor sharp claws.
You’re forgetting the main way that giraffes attack, swinging their neck to use their head as a *sledgehammer*
The elephant will probably be the mutant that relies on brute strength and might be capable of chasing you and destroying cover. It might also be able to break into other enclosures with ease making it the most dangerous creature

I wonder what the mutated penguins would look like💀💀💀. Also I wonder if it’s going to be a thing where it’s like events just happen. Or if it’s like a random animal will get infected and then you would have to get rid of the problem and complete the night.
Maybe the penguin will get some bat wings and swoop in on the player. That doesn't sound very creative, but it's a possibility.

As an animal lover I hope we can save all the animals that have not yet mutated
I do wish too that certain unifected animals could help you fight them or buy you some time like the elephant fighting against the infected giraffe or the gorilla duking it out against the infected wallaby.
Sense part of the game mission is giving each zoo animal cure form this infection there Going be multiple endings it's possible to save them (just not going be "easy")

Joe personal log 1: Just got a new promotion to night security guard. Heard a new zookeeper will be joining me in two weeks to assist with the nightshift workload.
Still one of the giraffes has gotten sick recently. We had to quarantine it for the time being. Hopefully this isn’t something serious.
Log 2: Ok so I’ve noticing the largest elephant we have has been acting distressed and has even tried to get my attention from time to time. Is there something it sees that I don’t?…
Log 3: I keep hearing something from my office late at night…I’ve been hiding in the reptile house during my break. So far it seems to have work but I found these odd stains on the floor. Probably just some dumb kid spilling something earlier today. There’s a broom closet in here so shouldn’t take long to clean up…Wait…How did one of the monitor lizards get out?
Log 4: (sounds of heavy breathing) Oh g__…What…What happened to that damn thing?!
There was something very wrong with that lizard…Damn thing’s jaws unhinged far more than what a damn reptile should be capable. I saw it eat a whole fucking anaconda…A WHOLE FUCKING ANACONDA!
This log should be in the actual game.
There's no reptiles shown in the trailers, gifs and screenshots, but that would be cool

Honestly log 2 would be a very interesting thing to see. Elephants ARE known to be one of THE smartest types of animal aside from us AND are capable of picking up sounds in frequencies we can’t even perceive, so it isn’t too far fetched to say that the elephant could serve as an early warning system.
@@datboigokumi6048 That would honestly be genius. And if you let the elephant get infected you essentially make the game far harder and more dangerous since you now have A DAMN ELEPHANT HUNTING YOU DOWN!

I’m glad there’s no carnivorous animals (except maybe the penguins but they don’t really count) and most of them are herbivores. It’s nice to see things we wouldn’t normally consider dangerous like giraffes or kangaroos be the monsters rather than yet another lion or bear or tiger

I can't 100% agree with you though it's nice to see herbivores used but they're not dangerous per say there attitude but giraffes definitely able of killing people without a second glance they have and will continue to do so also kangaroos are damn jackass's with temperament worse than an old grandpa, sure they're not the most dangerous things but piss them off and you could either be boxed 1 KO or be gutted by there claws they're insanely asshole animals when they want to be 😂
I'm not saying this out of thin air I've worked with loads of herbivore creatures while to the average person maybe they don't count as a potential threat or consider dangerous but ask any zookeeper that while they might be loveable at times they're more than happy to put you in a casket if you're careless.
Animals are dangerous, just like working with machinery you can appreciate it, interact with it and use(play with) it but don't let your guard down just because it's friendly looking I've seen one to many people loose limbs, lifes and more to animals oh and machine's to respect the fuck out of them unless you wanna be a flat human or a gored one lmao
That said again it's great to see a video game use herbis instead of carnos and follow the common troupe

@@Epsilon-5 still it would be cool to see these animals since the way they might look would be horrifying, some animals I would like to see infected by the parasite are the penguins, gorillas, and the hippo because penguins would be surprising and the gorilla and hippo would be two animals hard to run away from.❤️

I think that any animal that isn’t in the green range of the thermometer thing is probably infected. I think it would also be cool if the hot parasites got one design and the cold parasites had another. It would make sense cause the giraffe picture at 6:35 is different than the one at 0:12

@@Warthundered230 Zebras are donkeys, and they're extremely aggressive and unpredictable. There's a reason we never put a saddle on them unlike horses. Zebras are one of the animals with the highest causes of injuries to zookeepers than any other animal, due to their unpredictability and aggressive nature.

This is a game, however, so...who knows? It could be also a liquidated feed if the zebra is too sick to eat, or to pacify the parasite until the vaccine can be made/delivered.

If the animals stay mutated they get worse as they become more and more scary and smart example: giraffe it was infected the sighs became worse untill it got to stage 2 wich is called :spider giraffe: it mainly focus on its ability to climb and it helps it hide and climb and now stage 2 wich is called : nightmarish giraffe it make it 10x scarier smarter and it can find u and break cameras if it goes to stage 2 theres no hope of it being back bec the parasite will be taking over its brain soon to prevent this u must kill it IMDEATLY if u didn't it infect more and more animals keep in mind every single animal isn't trustable if it's on Orange try healing it imdeatly and also elephants are tye most dangerous once bec they can already kill. U better be careful or "they" will come and make u see hell......
