Can "Potassium Guy" Sing?

He's only been dancing for a few years and he's already THAT good. But his singing does not fall short at all.
Yes, we rarely see or hear K sing because he's usually more focused on his dancing but when he does and he really sings from the heart, only then do you realize that he's been singing before he started dancing. And he only started singing probably quite recently too, unlike most who started when they were younger. 😊

케이는 파워풀한 보컬은 아니지만, 음색이 독특하고 좋음. 그래서 아이랜드 때 목소리가 좋다고 칭찬받았음. 또한 감정을 담아내는 표현력이 뛰어남. 실제로 앤오디션 파이널에서 소마 겐다가 케이가 추상적인 걸 담아서 부른다고 얘기했음. (+마키도)
그리고 내가 봤을 땐 메인보컬 할 정도로 음역대도 넓음. 앤오디션 어쩌나 무대에서 저음 랩 잘 소화하고, 마키와 함께 앤팀 노래의 진성 고음을 맡고 있음. 아마 엑소, 세븐틴 메인보컬급이 아니라서 욕하는 것 같은데, 엑소, 세븐틴 메인보컬급이 아닌 남돌 메보가 대부분인 걸 생각하면 케이는 충분한 메인보컬임.
또한 음감각이 뛰어난 걸로 보임. 실제로 앤팀 곡에서 가장 많은 고음 애드리브와 화음을 맡고 있음. 그렇게 된 이유는 케이가 작곡을 할 줄 알고, 케이 음색이 너무 틔지 않고 다른 멤버들 목소리와 잘 맞기 때문인 것 같음.
케이가 재능보단 노력으로 뛰어난 보컬 실력을 만든 게 정말 정말 대단하다고 생각함. 물론 케이가 노래할 때의 음색은 말할 때와 거의 비슷해서 음색은 타고난 게 맞음. 하지만 테크닉, 감정 표현력 등은 본인 노력으로 만든 것임. 루네라면 다들 알겠지만, 케이는 고등학생 때까지 오랫동안 마라톤 선수였고 그때까진 노래를 배워본 적이 없었음. 그리고 아이랜드 때도 보컬이 좋긴 했지만 보컬 포지션을 맡을만한 실력은 아니었음. 그러나 아이랜드 이후 2년간의 엄청난 노력으로 메인보컬 실력을 만들어서 왔음. 난 정말 케이의 노력에 기립박수를 쳐주고 싶음👏👏👏
결론: 케이의 보컬 실력을 욕할 이유는 그 어디에도 없다고 봄. 케이 보컬 최고👍

Y'all forget he was always and constantly one of the higher rangers in iland and he was the standard in BOTH I-LAND and &audition. If I remember right, this man had almost no, if not not a single complaint about his performances in &audition. In I-LAND, I literally remember him and heeseung having not a single problem in their performances, K shined out in performance and Heeseung shined in both vocals and performance.
Everyone knows potassium boi was not a force to reckon with.

3:53-4:01 I listened countless times and always be emotional.
Love everything about him, ride or dye since ILand.
There is no replica of K because he is so unique
He is miles ahead of many rookie artists due to his versatility and strength

Anw, as fans, what I always search from singers and performers is uniqueness. I admire powerful singers (the ones who easily hit high notes and have got wide vocal range) but somehow I always favor the unique tone ones. That was how I fell for BTS and later fell for K and &Team. I didn't watch I-Land, so I only noticed K's vocal and performance skill during &Audition and I instantly knew I love his voice (and his whole performance skill).
In &Team, K & Yuma are my most favorite in terms of vocal. And when both of them harmonizing, it's heavenly to me ✌

i agree. i personally like unique tones too and especially those who sing from the inside. of course, i find people who have perfect pitch and highly-stylized vocals really admirable too, but to me it really doesn't matter if one does not hit the right notes, as long as the soul is there, you can feel it. that's what i admire about BTS too, the way they sing and rap from the heart, the way they sing their own story. and i'm slowly seeing different emotions in &TEAM's stages now too so it's nice and exciting😊
