- Brooklyn's own Jay-Z raised in the Marcy Projects was mentored at first in the rap game by fellow Brooklyn rapper Jaz-O. Things started off good between the two but things made a turn for the worse when Jay started to become a bigger artist and wanted to sign Jaz to a record deal which Jaz wasn't happy with the details of the situation.

Considering where Jay is at now in life it's likely that had Jaz signed that contract with Rocafella he would be in some corporate position at ROC Nation right now.
Jaz wasn't a marketable artist but he would've been very important behind the scenes because he was a songwriter & producer.
Those skills can carry you very far with the right connections.

To be honest almost everyone Jay-Z has beefed with have better diss records. I get the situation but it’s wrong to diss someone who’s helped your career. Jay had done that to a lot of people which is disgusting but I can’t really blame him for this situation. Go Harder is very overlooked. Jaz O can diss good well Jay too but still. Ova I’m not really a fan of but that was a very good diss as well and Ova part two was also good. I’m just not a fan of most of Jay-Z’s diss tracks there not bad. There still great and extremely overlooked just lyrically weak and inferior to many of his rivals disses especially Nas and Cam’ron. He’s isn’t really a good battle rapper. @@OneStopHipHop811 Dig A Hole is aimed at Cam’ron and Dame Dash and Mase confirmed that Imaginary Player has subliminal shots at him if you watch the interview he did last year. Jay is known to take shots at everyone subliminally. So it’s hard to hear who he is going at when you listen to some of his music. He is sneaky. My personal favorite diss of him other than the three you said is his verse on the My Mind Right remix when he dissed Meeno from Harlem World, Dead Or Alive and His Back From France (Freestyle).
