You did a great job. I'm looking into something like this of a M101 in similar fashion and I got a lot of good ideas from you. For mine, I want to mount a rooftop tent and solar panel and have a slide out cooktop but I really want it to otherwise look like yours. Well done.
WOW!! That is amazing! Thanks for all the cool build ideas. Love the roll-top cover. I'm planning on building one by the end of the year. I think the only thing I'll do different is to add a battery and charge controller, a small generator in the tongue box, and electric RV stabilizers in the rear (yours are pretty awesome too- but I want the ability to level the trailer without drama). So cool!
I have one of these trailers that I wanted to build up for Camping/overland use.. For the life of me, I could not decide on a direction I wanted to go with the Top. I want it to accommodate a RTT, and your setup seems to exactly what I want to do. Have the trailer, have the Yakima Rails, just need to do a little maintenance and add a few accessories. Thanks for sharing your build.
Sweet trailer! I was hoping to get some more information from you on the dimensions of the Truck Covers USA top, fabrication & install along with the Yakima rack channel on either side. Also really dig'n the tailgate, Very cool. Well done!
Truck cover is www.truckcoversusa.com/american-roll-cover/ You can buy it with the Yakima rail and add the Yakima rack at purchase or later. I've got one too
Dude, you did a outstanding job on that trailer. The truck covers USA tonneau is my favorite part. Get the bikes, the skis, or you can add a cargo basket or carrier and really go wild with the carrying capacity. Truck covers USA and Diamondback covers are the upper echelons of tonneau covers. Most people don't know the benefits or quality so they run from the price. When you roll the cover up, you can stand or sit on the canister with no issues. Nice job bro.
You did a great job on the trailer. Personally though, as much as you spent, I would've had the fenders widened. I had 33x12.50x15 tires, so I had fenders 3"wider made for mine so I could keep the originals stock. Looks great though man, good job.
Great build, love it. Just see 2 problems. Jerry cans are required by fed dot to be red if using them for fuel. Black my cause some expansion issues. But if they were like candy apple red would look pretty sharp with the black.
New M100 owner here considering a lid but this retractable cover looks like a better option. Great video and great build!
Amazing detail! Beautiful. That roll top is brilliant! Just building my trailer now. Had a few ideas like you and can see it done now.
You did a tremendous job on this trailer! Thanks for showing it off to us.
This is bad ass... gorgeous buddy, absolutely awesome.
Wow!!! Great job on that trailer! Add a few additional components and you would be completely dialed in for serious camping. Super clean!
