- Sydney showcases its dazzling fireworks display a few hours after Auckland became the first major city to ring in 2019.
More than a million people turned out for the display which featured Aretha Franklin's Natural Woman despite torrential rain and lightning earlier in the evening.

Unfortunately the famous golden waterfall failed. Other than that it was incredible!

What a shame the golden waterfalls effect didn't goes well, it's always part of the harbour bridge sign that show about to finish
Why didn't they do the waterfall? That was the best part of Sydney's fireworks.
It would appear in the video at the 11:13 mark the waterfall was about to begin but nothing come of it. Not sure if this was a failure or not. To me it looked like the waterfall feature failed.

The finale music isn't so bad but the rest isn't good really, actually they dubbed it over because of copyright ._.
I much prefer these over the UK ones (I live there) simply because of the music choices, this is nice, and not to in your face. In London, songs like gangman style get played for like 12 minutes and it kills me 😆
