I’ve said this for years. There’s a bunch of back office coaching going on. Different coaches and yet the same results. Luke is right. These unknown puppeteers want the football program to operate just enough to keep a relevance & grab the broadcast checks. The evidence of how much they care for the team is the demolition of the orange bowl, not allowing UM to play in that monstrosity of a so called baseball stadium & the lack of concern in building a stadium for the canes. The spirit of Thaddeus Foote still resonates at The U. Damn shame.
No truer or more accurate words have been spoken about the University of Miami's football program! Nailed it!!!!!!!!!! I'm a Miami fan from before Schnellinberger. Coach Lou Saban. My 5th grade teacher was Rodney Bellinger's ( great Miami cornerback)mother. My cousin was in the band. I've seen it all. It's a miracle and a testament to the pure talent of south Florida that Miami was as great as it was even without the full support of the school! Amazing!
Just a bunch of talk. College football in 2025 is about stacking cash / players, being a National brand, good QB play and consistency within the staff. There’s plenty of ways to play offense or defense but these 4 things are the baseline for success
Mario's game day decisions sometimes definitely frustrate me but Mario is 💯 a Miami Guy ,,,, Cuban from 305 and played on 2 Natty Titke Canes teams on the O Line ?? Miami Guy 💯 Cristobal
That whole talent rich Miami is easily debunked. Go look at where the top 100 high school players are from. The % says it ain't Miami. Just do some basic research. The stats say otherwise regardless of some make-me-feel-good cliché talk. Giving Mario that contract and the highest allowance for ACC assistants, has been a horrible return on investment. In 2022 alone, the university handed Mario almost $23 million. That's the largest payout in the history of college athletics. Factor in the half empty stadium and boosters laughing at their faces when the fundraisers call and this thing is going to sink rapidly. It was reported Miami football went deeper in debt (the last three years combined) than any program in the country. That private university can't get bailed out with state funds or bonds. How the university screwed this up so bad will be another 30 for 30. The new AD (from Clemson) was hired after Mario and once he lifted the skirt on the program said, "What have ya'll done?" Miami tripled his salary to take the job and try to fix the mess.
Yeah, Miami has a hard time connecting with the inner city. That's for Kirby Smart, Dan Lanning, Ryan Day, Steve Sarkisian to do. They connect with the inner city, naturally 🙄
70 Million Mussolini Mario needs to hire 2 New Coaches. Coach 1 - A Head Coach (To make up for all things that he lacks). Coach 2 a New DC to replace Tar and Feathered Get the Flock OUT OF TOWN Guidry. 70 Million Mario Keeps Going Out "UNCHALLENGED" by any of the Media and Insistent on Putting Lipstick on a Pig that was this 2024 Season! He sounds like a suit in the Board Room giving Future Guidance to the Market.... He is Full of Manure! You and Your Ilk need to grow a Pair and Call his Cuban Arrogance Out!
Decent season? 10 and 2 is decent?!? I can't stand our fanbase sometimes. We haven't had success like this in 20 years! I'm 43, I saw that 2002 group win it all and lose it all the next second. We ain't goin back there and we can't keep portalin' looking for good QB's, it's unsustainable. We need to get back to the basics of great Defense and an excellent running game. Recruit O and D Line grab the special skill position players and don't feel a way when they leave this is a whole new era.
They need to bump Cristobal up to some sort of GM role... hire a marquee Miami guy like Ed Reed. Honestly, this team has potential. They need a real stadium 🏟. It's so tough being Cane fan.

Thadd Foote! You said it!😔
Here go this bullshit. Isn't Mario a Miami guy. Wasn't Randy a Miami guy who wanted Nevin to stay tf away.
These mfs just bitter right now
Just a bunch of talk.

What part of Miami is Jimmy Johnson from?😂
Jimmy Johnson is from Port Arthur Texas
@PapaJon-wo1jb
I know, and he had no ties to the area or school.
Nevin is a “USF guy”

2017
Oregon seems to do ok without homegrown QBs.
Man just want to have a voice in the program and he don’t that’s why he’s salty 😂

Lol. Hire Ed even though he has never been a HC before? LMAO
the program has been down for so long like the dolphins .. what happened to miami football period both stink and can't figure it out
wanna get back on top? hire coaches out the hood who actually relate to these miami kids not these cubans no disrespect
Yo, you mean like Randy Shannon? Been there, done that and it didn't work.
Focus on the fact that Miami didn't give a fuck about football...
@@ulicalrandy didn't have any power man!!
The we need a miami guy Is so overrated . I'm so sick of hearing it.
